Everyone is very familiar with all the classic Christmas songs, like Silent Night, Jingle Bells and Twelve days of Christmas. But have you ever asked yourself the following questions. In England, between 1558 and 1829, it was not legal for Catholics to practice their kind of Christianity in public or private. Being a Catholic was treated as a bad crime. Catholics were stopped from worshipping because King Henry VIII fell out with the Catholic Church and started his own 'Protestant' Church (what is now the Church of England). 5 We are ready to begin sign-ups for all of our upcoming events for December If there are any outings you would love to see on the schedule, come and share them at our next Resident Council Meeting on December 19th at 3:45pm in our community room. There will be a prize raffled at the end of the meeting for those who attend. Lunch Outings are every Tuesday- Olive Garden on the 6th at 10:45am. Soup Plantation on the 13th at 10:45am. Viejas Casino and Buffet on the 20th at 10:00am. Bull Weevils on the 27th at 10:45am. Shopping-...Outings For December Wal-Mart Supercenter on Thursday the 1st, 15th and the 29th from 9:30-11:00am. Wal-Mart in Grossmont Thursday the 1st, 15th, and the 29th from 1:00-2:30pm Hobby Lobby on Tuesday the 13th from 1:00-2:30pm. Dollar Store in Lemon Grove on Tuesday the 27th from 1:00-2:30pm. Look for all our scenic drives and library outings on the calendar and save the date! Remember to sign up for all outings you re interested in with our front desk.
