A New World IS Coming Understanding the times and knowing what to do SUBJECT TOPICALLY REFERENCED UNDER: Prophecy, Paradise, Heaven Introduction to the Text: Hebrews 11:10 THE BIBLE IS UNLIKE ANY ANOTHER BOOK IN ALL THE WORLD AND ITS MESSAGE CANNOT BE MATCHED. Among many of its Irrefutable Attributes such as it s infallibility, and it s inerrancy, it s historical and archeological reliability, among these great facts the Bible is That It Speaks of a Time to Come Hebrews 11:10 For he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God. O how often we trust in this hope even today as we look forward to heaven! From The Eastern Mystic Who Seeks After Her Heaven called Nirvana To The Muslim Male, Whose Goal is to achieve a Paradise of Sexual Pleasure. Every Human Being is in Some Way Preoccupied with Thoughts of a Heaven to Come The same is true of the Judeo-Christian Belief. But why? What makes our Hope of Heaven better than the others? 1

2 Why did Jesus say that He was The Only Way and that Without Faith in Him a man would perish in eternity? Why these bold claims of the Narrow Way while the world says, Impossible! There are many ways? By the way all those groups who say that - in their next breath will tell you that you have to join there group to get to heaven. Jesus Said; John 6:51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; John 7:37 On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. John 10:9 I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, A NEW WORLD IS COMING 1.) A new world - according to the Bible 1a.) A NEW WORLD ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE The Bible says that this old world is broken The Bible Uses Terns Like; Subjected and Sold Under Romans 7:14b For we are carnal, sold under sin. Sold: to traffic or to travel under a burden, to be weighted down or heavy laden. Romans 8:20 For the creation itself was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it According to the Bible; This World has been Sin-Ravaged and Raped by the Will of Satan Dear Al Gore, This Earth is Not Heaven, 2

3 This Earth is tired and Sin-Sick. Romans 8:21-23 All creation anticipates the day when it will join God s children in glorious freedom from death and decay. :22 For we know that all creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. :23 And even we Christians, although we have the Holy Spirit within us as a foretaste of future glory, also groan to be released from pain and suffering. We, too, wait anxiously for that day when God will give us our full rights as his children, including the new bodies he has promised us. A NEW WORLD ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE 1b.) The Bible says that Jesus Christ has purchased it That is, He has purchased us out of this world. This world is heading toward the wall. Galatians 3:13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree ), Redeemed ajpolu/trwsiß apolutrosis, ap-ol-oo -tro-sis; the result of a ransom being paid in full, i.e. deliverance. Rescued, saved Revelation 5:9 And in heaven, they sang a new song, saying: You are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals; For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, Romans 3:23-25 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, :24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, :25 whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, Propitiation ijlasth/rion hilasterion, the sacrifice making atonement the victim who stands in the place of the condemned. And the dead in Christ will rise first. :17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. :18 Therefore comfort one another with these words. Jesus Introduced us to the Rapture John 14:1-3 Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. :2 In My Father s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. :3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. Titus 2:13 Looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, A NEW WORLD IS COMING 2.) A new world - is exactly what we need 2a.) A NEW WORLD IS EXACTLY WHAT WE NEED God s new world guarantees redemption For all of you who are trusting in Jesus Christ today For both your salvation and entrance in to heaven there s something we re waiting for still. Redemption can only be fully complete When (1) He appears or (2) we die. Philippians 1:21-24 For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. :22 But if I live on in the flesh, this will mean fruit from my labor; yet what I shall choose I cannot tell. :23 For I am hardpressed between the two, having a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better. :24 Nevertheless to remain in the flesh is more needful for you. 2Corinthians 1:20-22 For all the promises of God in Him are yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us. :21 Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, :22 who also has sealed us and 4

5 given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee. This Sealing is an awesome word; Sealed sfragi zw sphragizo, to stamp, emboss, to mark with a signet or private reserve. to indentify or secure something for safe keeping Guarantee ajrjrjabw n arrhabon, a pledge, a part of the purchase. That which is given in advance as a security for the rest. We have used the word down-payment but that not correct. All has been purchased; nothing else needs to be bought. But we await the Full Benefits of what the purchase has provided. 1Peter 1:18-19 Knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers,:19 but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. Hebrews 9:11-12 But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation. :12 Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. Galatians 1:4 Who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, A NEW WORLD IS EXACTLY WHAT WE NEED 2b.) God s new world offers acceptance Galatians 1:4 For it was our Lord Jesus Christ who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, 1Corinthians 6:8-11 No, you yourselves do wrong and cheat, and you do these things to your brethren! :9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites,:10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. : 11 and such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God. Ephesians 1:4-7 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love,:5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by 5

6 Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,:6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved. : 7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace A NEW WORLD IS EXACTLY WHAT WE NEED 2c.) God s new world provides satisfaction Psalms 16:11 You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore. 1Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written: Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him. Revelation 4:1-6 After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this. :2 Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne set in heaven, and One sat on the throne. :3 And He who sat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald. :4 Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and on the thrones I saw twenty-four elders sitting, clothed in white robes; and they had crowns of gold on their heads. :5 And from the throne proceeded lightning s, thundering, and voices. Seven lamps of fire were burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God. :6 Before the throne there was a sea of glass, like crystal. And in the midst of the throne, and around the throne, were four living creatures full of eyes in front and in back Revelation 21:4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away. A NEW WORLD IS COMING 3.) A new world is yours for the asking It s The Very Purpose for Christ s coming! That you and I that mankind would have an Exodus from this World! John 18:37 6

7 Pilate therefore said to Him, Are You a king then? Jesus answered, You say rightly that I am a king. For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears my voice. 2Peter 3:11-13 Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, :12 looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? :13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells. A NEW WORLD IS YOURS FOR THE ASKING 3a.) Why you should ask (1) - - Because You re All Alone Right Now? Ephesians 4:18 They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts. (2) - - Because You Wont Want To Miss what s Coming Ephesians 1:10-14 that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth in Him. :11 In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, :12 that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory. :13 In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, :14 who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory. (3) - - Because The Love of Your Life Has Yet To Be Known. Romans 8:38-39 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, :39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. A NEW WORLD IS YOURS FOR THE ASKING 7

When you ask 2Corinthians 6:1-2 We then, as workers together with Him (Christ) plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain. :2 For He says: In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you. Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. What Will Happen If I Do? (Did you hear what happened to Walid Shoebat when Jesus opened his eyes?) I Know That Truth / What About Paul McGuire / I Know That Truth 3c.) A NEW WORLD IS YOURS FOR THE ASKING Will you ask How Can I Ask? John 6:35-40 And Jesus said to them, I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst. :36 But I said to you that you have seen Me and yet do not believe....:37 All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out. :38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. :39 This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. :40 And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
