2 Worship in September Throughout the month of September we will continue to reflect on the stained glass windows in our sanctuary. 3 Little s Little Youth Word This summer has been very busy! It has been full of Missions, Vacation Bible School and lots of planning. I am so excited about the new year, but I would be remiss if I didn t say how proud I am of the Youth Committee and the work they ve done this summer. They have truly done a wonderful job in helping me to plan the upcoming year. I would also like to give a shout out to the Discipleship Training Committee, as they have been a huge part in planning Wednesday nights for the new year. But with that, it is on to the new year. On Wednesday Nights the youth will be going through the entire Bible. From Creation to Revelation. From the Fall to the Cross. From Abraham to Paul. It is truly going to be great. Throughout the year we will be having lots of time for both Fellowship and Missions. We have a lot of diverse activities that we hope will help the youth grow closer to God. Some of the activities include: Movie Nights, Faith Festival, Packing Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes, visiting shut-ins, helping seniors with their technology, visiting nursing homes, and our annual Cardboard City. It is going to be a great year! I pray and hope you will pray as well, that this year will help our youth grow closer to God; even if it is just one step. We want a Youth Group that helps to build one another up, and not tear each other down. I pray that as we grow closer to God, that we will grow closer to one another as well. Dates to Remember: September 16: Movie Night Bible Study (6pm Movie is TBA) October 18: Youth serve Wednesday night dinner October 25: Faith Festival November 8: Operation Christmas Child shoebox packing December 6: Youth will deliver meals (be at the church by 5:15) December 15: Youth Christmas Party (6-11pm)
