I am a working artist in a lovely home, 2 minutes from the sea and on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds. I attend the Christian Science Church in Scarborough which is about 30 minutes drive away. My house is also my gallery, it is open to the public by appointment. There is always new work in progress in the studio. It would be lovely to have the company of another like minded individual to share my home; which has an additional double bedroom and guest bathroom with shower and bath. My conservatory looks into a pretty walled garden with summer house. We have a very active U3A (University of the Third Age) in Bridlington, founded by myself and my sister. There are beautiful beaches and countryside only minutes away. The applicant should be mobile, preferably a car driver, non smoker, a dog lover and be able to live happily with an artist who is still working. There is WiFi available, parking is on the street and the town centre is 15 minutes walking distance. Short term visits also welcome. If you think that the Foundation may be able to help you, or a fellow Christian Scientist, an application form is available that may be completed and returned to the Administrator. Each case is treated on individual merit, taking into account both the financial position of the applicant and the Foundation s available funds.
