Baptist Convention of Maryland/Delaware Come meet the staff at the centrally-located Baptist Convention of Maryland/Delaware booth, where you can learn about the myriad of services we provide to help strengthen and start churches throughout Maryland and Delaware. Baptist Foundation/Capture the Vision Our mission is to help individuals, families and churches know about opportunities to advance Christ s Kingdom through gifts given to support the benevolent and missionary enterprises of the BCM/D. Capture the Vision is a 13-week, consultant-led, capital fund-raising campaign for churches, many of whom have experienced great success using it. Resources bookstore with Bibles, Bible studies, church music and a whole range of books and gifts related to church ministry. North American Mission Board (NAMB)/SEND Baltimore NAMB partners with churches, associations and state conventions in mobilizing Southern Baptists as a missional force to impact North America with the gospel of Jesus Christ through evangelism and church planting. ONE HOPE Do we serve the poor or make disciples of the poor? There s a difference. Come visit us at our booth to learn about ONE HOPE and its ministry to develop and train disciples from the community for the urban church. Sherwood Baptist Church Under the leadership of Pastor Michael Catt, Sherwood Baptist Church seeks to reach the world from Albany, Ga. In so doing, the church successfully produced the popular movies, Facing the Giants, Fireproof, and Courageous. More recently, church leaders have hosted refresh conferences for pastors and their wives throughout the country. Bridging the Nations, Int l: Cuba Mission (Riva Trace) The mission of Bridging the Nations Ministries International, in partnership with Riva Trace Baptist Church, is to assist American churches in developing partnerships and long-term relationships between churches in the U.S. and in Cuba, among other nations. Skycroft Camps and Events Skycroft offers a number of camps and special retreats throughout the year that minister to a variety of age groups and special interests, including youth ministry, leadership training, mission opportunities, student camps, senior adult retreats and more. CentrePointe Counseling CentrePointe is a faith-based, non-profit agency that provides professional, Christian counseling at over 20 offices throughout Maryland. They serve all in need regardless of their ability to pay standard fees and this is only made possible by the many that support the ministry financially. Pastors, missionaries, church leaders, church members, and local community residents are all welcome to come and receive services. Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (SEBTS) SEBTS affords Maryland/Delaware Baptists the opportunity to pursue further academic training tailored to ministry in the Northeast. Massive Open Online Courses and specialized Doctor of Ministry study for local pastors are but two ways we partner together. The Banquet Network (Special Needs Ministry) People with disabilities remain culturally hidden and the least evangelized population in the United States. Did you know 62 million Americans have a disabling condition, yet less than 2% of American churches have any kind of disability outreach? Jesus is calling you to preach the good news to them! Horton D.A. serves as Pastor of Reach Fellowship a church plant in North Long Beach, Calif., & as Chief Evangelist for the Urban Youth Workers Institute (UYWI). He also has served as an urban church planter/pastor in Kansas City, Mo., and a National Coordinator of Urban Student Ministries at the North American Mission Board. Disaster Relief Disaster ministry brings help, healing and hope to individuals and communities affected by disasters. Disaster Relief trains volunteers to serve on regional quick-response teams; Ready Church equips local congregations seeking to minister to their neighbors in times of crisis.
