See now that I myself am He! There is no god besides me. I put to death and I bring to life, I have wounded and I will heal, and no one can deliver out of my hand. Deuteronomy 32:39 is perfect in character, incapable of doing any wrong. He is perfectly just and will punish man for the evil they have committed, according to His law. You are not a who takes pleasure in evil; with you the wicked cannot dwell. The arrogant cannot stand in your presence; you hate all who do wrong. Psalms 5:4-5 is also love. He did not create man to destroy him, but desires for mankind to be reconciled to Him. is love. 1John 4:16; 1Jn.4:8 remove sin from our hearts; otherwise, we remain unclean! Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see. Matthew 5:8 Unless we have a pure heart, we will not see ; for our unclean hearts would make heaven as sinful as earth. We need more than a blood payment, and we must be cleansed. And now what are you waiting for Get up, be baptised and wash your sins away, calling on his name. Acts 22:16 We must believe that if we do what He asks, then He will do as He promises in His Word, the Injil., who knows the heart, showed that he accepted them by giving the Holy to them... He made no distinction between us and them, for he purified their hearts by faith. Acts 15:8-9 A pure heart changes our actions. Only a pure hearts will allow us to have fellowship with now and through eternity. 3 Clean or Unclean Muslims believe that they enter heaven by doing more good than bad. If something unclean falls into a pot of clean soup, does the clean soup make the unclean thing clean, or does the unclean thing make the clean soup unclean As long as something unclean remains in the soup, the soup is unclean. In the same way, our good deeds cannot make our bad deeds good nor can they remove our shame! All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags. Isaiah 64:6 Our sinful actions are only a symptom of a greater problem, for the cause of our bad deeds is an unclean heart. For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander. These are what make a man unclean ; but eating with unwashed hands does not make him unclean. Matthew 15:19-20 Is concerned about the dirt on our hands, or is He concerned about the sinful dirt in our hearts We must For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD. 8 Eid al-adha Many people know the story of Abraham and his son. commanded Abraham to kill his son. Abraham built an altar there and arranged the wood on it. He bound his son and laid him on the altar, on top of the wood. Then he reached out his hand and took the knife to slay his son. But the angel of the LORD called out to him from heaven, "Abraham! Abraham!" "Here I am," he replied. "Do not lay a hand on the boy," he said. "Do not do anything to him. Genesis 22:9-12 demanded a sacrifice but spared Abraham s son by providing a substitute, a great ram, which died in his place. Like Abraham s son, we need a substitute to die in our place in order to remove the dishonor we have caused. In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. Hebrews 9:22 Only the shedding of blood takes away great shame. Abraham looked up and there in a thicket he saw a ram caught by its horns. He went over and took the ram and sacrificed it as a burnt offering instead of his son.
