But the aromas, sights and sounds are not the magical cause of the holidays; they are but the manifested symbols of expressions that have emerged from the warm, kind hearts of the human-spirit, from which the true magic of the holidays reside and outwardly flow. For we are but the conduit for the magic and miracles of the holidays - and only through our spiritual reverence and loving expressions toward and for others, will the true magic of the season fully emerge. The true magic of the holidays is not in the gift; it is in the spirit of the giver. Each religion validates this principled phrase with wonderful narrative life examples. In Christianity, no narrative, in my opinion, better describes it than Dr. James Allan Francis 1926, inspiring world famous poetic verse Reproduced for you below. He was nailed to a cross between two thieves. When he was dying, his executioners gambled for his clothing the only property he had on earth. When he was dead, He was laid in a borrowed grave through the pity of a friend. Nineteen centuries have come and gone, and today He is the central figure of the human race the leader of mankind's progress.
