(#3.) Matthew 5 Verse 5 Blessed [are] the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. Someone once said, that, Meekness, is like Humility, the moment you acknowledge it, it s gone! Meekness, is not something that can be trumped up. Meekness, is a definite heart attitude, either you have it, or you do not: Jesus said, Matthew 11 Verses Come unto me, all [ye] that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. (29) Take My yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. (30) For My yoke [is] easy, and My burden is light. From the hands of a Master carpenter, I would hardly call Meekness, weakness! Great comfort await s the Poor in spirit. 3

Those who mourn, over the failure that their souls have to date displayed are comforted, by The Comforter, for they partake of The Prince of Peace. They shall inherit, the newness of the earth governed by The King and residing in His Kingdom. Blessed are the Meek. With much Congratulations, you are to be congratulated! You, who are just beginning to understand and walk in the fact that, Meekness, carries with it the idea of quietness, humility, sincerity, patience and openness of heart and mind: 4

1These characteristics, are in turn often associated with what The Bible calls, The Fear of The Lord; that is an attitude of reverence and due respect towards God: Meekness, carries with it the idea of a discipled one. One who readily sits at The Master s Feet, to learn of Him, The Character with which to be applied to The Heart! To our God, the Meek, is the ultimate optimist. God, is not in the least interested in the religious do gooder, the one that is so heavenly minded, that he s no earthly good! No, the Meek, never grow resentful at the fact of facing a rough path. They may not necessarily see God s Purpose, but their Faith and Trust rests in the fact that, all things work together for good to them that Love God, 1 Prince, Derek. Foundation Series. Vol.1-3. Sovereign World Ltd (1986 edit.) 5

Romans 8 Verse 28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [His] purpose. Romans 11 Verse 36 For of Him, and through Him, and to Him, [are] all things: to whom [be] Glory for ever. Amen. Psalm 22 Verses My praise [shall be] of thee in the great congregation: I will pay my vows before them that fear Him. (26) The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise The LORD that seek Him: your heart shall live for ever. Which is exactly what Paul the apostle wrote to young Timothy when he said, 1 Timothy 6 Verses 1-6 Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that The Name of God and [His] doctrine be not blasphemed. (2) And they that have believing masters, let them not despise [them], because they are Brethren; but rather do [them] service, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort. (3) If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, [even] The Words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness; 6

(4) He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, (5) Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of The Truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself. (6) But godliness with contentment is great gain. The Hebrew word for Meek, is the word Anaw, and it reveals to us the man who knows the certainty that in all things, God s Way, is best! Blessed are The Meek, with much to be congratulated about, for they have discovered The Great Heart of Love that lies in an obedient son: God s requirement, is that, all things be done decently and in order. Man has a tendency toward extremes, in each of our lives, it would be reasonable to say that we only experience one of two reactions toward the priorities of our life in God either 7

Revolt, or Revival! Like a well trimmed sailing ship gliding through the ocean on an even keel, such days at sea, are a delight: Surrounded by the dangers of the open sea and the perils of the depths. Both the crew and Captain are in total confident assurance as to direction and speed. To the Greek, the word Praus, shows the stability of self-control. Like a man well tempered, his passage through life, is both sure and confident, as trust takes the helm. When Jesus said, Matthew 11 Verses Come unto Me, all [ye] that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. (29) Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. (30) For My yoke [is] easy, and My burden is light. He was relating to the fact, that a burden shared, is a burden lessened! 8

From this we gain the picture of a yoke of oxen and their readiness to respond to The Master and plough the field for cultivation. The yoke for the oxen, is a very apt description of how our life is to be in regard to our readiness to co-operate with The Holy Spirit. This, as He undertakes our preparation for the cultivation of The Garden of our Heart: As with the oxen, so too our yoke with The Lord, when a team is yoked together to pull the plough, the older more experienced, guides the younger inexperienced. Failure on behalf of the inexperienced to co-operate, will lead to both crooked furrows and roughed out ground. That is, compared to smooth, straight well tilled furrows. Normally, the older beast, is yoked to the high side. From here, he guides and sets the line of the plough. The younger, is in the submission of the furrow, to improve both his tillage and line as he gains, experience and matures in bodily strength. This is the place of Meekness, and it 9

certainly is not weakness! In the following passages from John s Letters, we have portrayed in graphic detail one man who loved the pre-eminence and loved to constantly draw attention to himself in the church. The man s name, was Diotrephes and he appeared to be proud and doting. That is, compared to his contemporary the man called Demetrius who displayed the character of a Meek and Contrite Heart. 3 John 1 Verses 9-12 I wrote unto the church: but Diotrephes, who loveth to have the pre-eminence among them, receiveth us not. (10) Wherefore, if I come, I will remember his deeds which he doeth, prating against us with malicious words: and not content therewith, neither doth he himself receive the brethren, and forbiddeth them that would, and casteth [them] out of the church. (11) Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God. (12) Demetrius hath good report of all [men], and of The Truth itself: yea, and we [also] bear record; and ye know that our record is true. 10

Diotrephes strove for recognition and had an extremely territorial spirit based on a my patch mentality. He could not accept even the presence of this humble and willing to serve, new boy on the block! Diotrephes had his insecurities threatened by even the very presence of Demetrius. Demetrius had in all innocence only desired to see Jesus in his Brethren and have the friendship and fellowship that was denied him by a carnal and insecure little man called, Diotrephes! You could use the example of a normal marriage, where the lead role, is a dual concept as The Covenant, is a three-fold cord concerning Christ, the man, and the woman. When you have extreme on behalf of either the male, or the female then, The Character of Christ s Grace cannot show through. Where one is territorial, it usually means, that they are untrusting with regard to their spouse in that particular area: The testimony of the marriage suffers because of domination and control from either party. 11

And we have a situation where the yoke is pulled in either one direction or the other and the testimony of that family unit suffers under the gaze of public scrutiny. Moses himself, glowed with The Character of The One in whom he d spent time in communion with The Lord God Almighty Himself. And what did Israel do? They murmured and reacted! Moses showed God s Glory on his person and they murmured and complained, Jesus showed The Nature and The Character that was resident within, and they crucified Him! Will it be any wonder, as His unseen Nature begins to be seen in you, that you also begin to see folk manifest! There, is only one of two reactions that will take place, revolt, against the indwelling Presence of Him within or revival, where they with be drawn like bees to the Presence of honey! In marriage, the man as Groom, parallels Christ as presented in scripture. The woman, as Bride, parallels His Spouse, The Church. 12

In Ephesians Chapter Five, Verses twenty one through thirty two, and the key verse twenty eight, we find the explanation as to how the man is to love his wife, and the wife, to love her husband. Ephesians 5 Verses Submitting yourselves one to another in The Fear of God. (22) Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto The Lord. (23) For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is The Head of The Church: and He is The Saviour of The Body. (24) Therefore as The Church is subject unto Christ, so [let] the wives [be] to their own husbands in every thing. (25) Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved The Church, and gave Himself for it; (26) That He might sanctify and cleanse it with The Washing of Water by The Word, (27) That He might present it to Himself a Glorious Church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be Holy and without blemish. (28) So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. (29) For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as The Lord The Church: 13

(30) For we are members of His Body, of His Flesh, and of His Bones. (31) For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. (32) This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and The Church. This explains how the man, is to love his wife, and the wife, to love her husband. To many, this is indeed a one-sided event. I often wonder, just how much many men do love themselves. Simply because of the manner with which they fail to love their own wives! (Or the wives the husbands for that!!!) For men, it should be self-sacrifice, for the woman, it is meant to be submission. A word, that is detested by rebellious Jezebel: My, how quick she is to want to shoot the messenger!!! ( Put that gun down girl!!!) This, is also explained again for us in, 1 Peter 3 Verses 1-5 Likewise, ye wives, [be] in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives; 14

(2) While they behold your chaste conversation [coupled] with fear. (3) Whose adorning let it not be that outward [adorning] of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; (4) But [let it be] the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, [even the ornament] of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price. (5) For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands: In the sight of God, Meekness, is of great value, a prize of The New Born Character within 1 Peter 3 Verses 6-15 Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement. 15

(7) Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with [them] according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of The Grace of Life; that your prayers be not hindered. (8) Finally, [be ye] all of one mind, having compassion one of another, Love as Brethren, [be] pitiful, [be] courteous: (9) Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing. (10) For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: (11) Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it. (12) For The Eyes of The Lord [are] over the righteous, and his ears [are open] unto their prayers: but The Face of The Lord [is] against them that do evil. (13) And who [is] he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good? (14) But and if ye suffer for Righteousness sake, happy [are ye]: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled; 16

(15) But sanctify The Lord God in your hearts: and [be] ready always to [give] an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: You want to partake of our inheritance in Christ right now? Here s the way, do you want an unhindered prayer life? Honour and Love your wife, as Christ Loved The Church, and gave Himself for her! Men, you are to reflect Christ, women, you are to reflect The Bride, The Church. Together, we reflect The Nature and The Character of The Christ, who dwells within! In His Fullness, and in His Stature, The Measure of The Man Christ Jesus! Men learn self-sacrifice, by trials and tribulations where they cannot retaliate or even protect themselves as is the natural inclination to do! 17

Now, I am not saying for one minute, that you should just let people use and abuse you, but God, is a God of common sense, just as sure as He is a God of order and balance! Men have to learn to turn the other cheek, it s not natural for them! Men, have to learn, Meekness, is not weakness, it s power under control! 2 Corinthians 12 Verse 9 And He said unto me, My Grace is sufficient for thee: for My Strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that The Power of Christ may rest upon me. for My Strength is made perfect in weakness yours! The wife in turn learns submission, by having a Meek and gentle spirit. Which is precious in the Sight of God. I often think, that really she s doing what comes naturally men, we have much to learn!!! 18

Both the husband and the wife learn from Jesus, Trust and Submission anything less, is subservience! They may learn from different angles, but ultimately their learning comes together to compliment each other in Him! This is the beauty of Covenant relationship, men and women learning side, by side, a strong three-fold cord. Christ, the man and the woman, anything less, is an untwined cord. You are the weakest link get yoked!!! Meekness, does not bury it s head in the sand or ignore the problem, hoping that it will go away! Meekness, has no part in indifference nor does it play the coward with fear. True Meekness, holds it s head erect, because it is birthed in The Reverence and right placed Fear of The Lord that s due to it: 19

Meekness, is the solid grip of Trusts gentle strength. It s the barnacle that clings to the side of a ship and resists all that the tides can throw at it. It locks on, and holds fast in a tenacious grip of trust. Meekness, sees the potential in all, even in those that sin against the Meek. It sees the one tainted with sin through Heavens Eyes and knows that, Genesis 50 Verse 20 But as for you, ye thought evil against me; [but] God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as [it is] this day, to save much people alive. Meekness, cries with a loud voice, Luke 22 Verse 42(b) not My Will, but Thine, be done. It turns the other cheek and loves even their enemies, seven times seventy and then some! 20

Meekness, reveals eyes that are aflame with Love. Blessed are The Meek they shall inherit! Scripture here, gives us a direct quote from, Psalm 37 Verses But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. (12) The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth. (13) The Lord shall laugh at him: for He seeth that his day is coming. To the Meek, Obedience and Trust are the attributes of heart that are required to enter into the inheritance of the promises of God. These are not limited by either time or space, partaking of these wonderful promises, begins in the here and now! 21

Psalm 37 Verses The LORD knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever. (19) They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied. (20) But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of The LORD [shall be] as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away. To inherit, in the Hebrew, is the word Nahal which means, to take as a possession and that is in the present tense! To possess, we do not need a last will and testament, we are living in The New Testament, where The Word of inheritance is assured by the Life of the One who rose from the dead Jesus, The Lord Christ: Inheritance, does not relate to possessions that can be squandered by Prodigal sons. To inherit, relates to the vibrancy of Life in Christ lived in the here and now! 22

Man is destitute unless he puts his whole trust in God. A man who s trust lies only in himself, is both poor, wretched and naked. I would rather be dependant upon my Creator, The God of the universe, than put my trust in the limits of earth bound man. Whenever one accepts The Will of God, he accepts the fact that God s Will can be done on earth, just as perfectly as it is in Heaven. Heaven, has come down to touch earth so that what was impossible for us, has now become probable in Him. We know that without Him, from dust we came, and to dust we shall be claimed! Psalm 37 Verse 37 Mark the perfect [man], and behold the upright: for the end of [that] man [is] peace. Meekness, is the fruit of The Holy Spirit that produces within itself Perfect Trust, Perfect Obedience, Perfect Submission, Perfect Peace, in the Perfect man. 23

Proverbs 16 Verse 7 When a man s ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him. A-men! Meekness, is a fruit of Grace, with fruit, Time, is the best thing to allow for growth and maturity to be ready, ripe, and fit for harvest. Often, if you pick fruit before it has ripened, it is bitter and sour to the taste. We are called, To get better, not bitter! Hebrews 12 Verse 15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of The Grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble [you], and thereby many be defiled; Meekness, is best ripened in the storms of life, just as a good thunder storm clears and cleans the air, so too does Meekness, the spirit of a man: Meekness, is a fruit, that must be cultivated and just because the soil in the garden of one s heart appears well turned, well hoed and well watered, does not make the garden soft! 24

Yes, many tuff weeds, are pulled in the culture of the Meek, hoed in the school of hard knocks. 1 Peter 3 Verse 15 But sanctify The Lord God in your hearts: and [be] ready always to [give] an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of The Hope that is in you with meekness and fear: Only the Pharisee, only the legalist screams for justice at any cost, they so readily forget that God s Word states, Galatians 6 Verses 1-10 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. (2) Bear ye one another s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. (3) For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself. (4) But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. (5) For every man shall bear his own burden. (6) Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things. (7) Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. (8) For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. 25

(9) And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. (10) As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all [men], especially unto them who are of The Household of Faith. No, they just like the Pharisee, are all to quick to prosecute in the name of justice, all the while forgetting that God is The Father of all and He is a God of Justice! We are called to be His witnesses of Grace, Mercy, Compassion and Truth, we are called to be His witnesses, not His Attorneys! The Meek, would go readily to his brother and ask if there was any substance of Truth to the matter!!!?? Abraham displayed the fibre of the character of one called, Meek that is, One who has backbone! Genesis 13 Verse 8(b&c) (distinctions mine.) Let there be no strife, I pray thee, between me and thee, Verse (c) for we [be] Brethren. 26

No, the coward and the hypocrite hold hands with the accuser of the Brethren. The betrayer, become the abuser of the Brethren, and adds more to the pile in the high-ways and the by-ways, the family of bruised reeds called, the burned, the bashed and the buried! How then, is the best way for us to acknowledge the cultivation of this valuable fruit within? The best test for Meekness, is found in our own attitude, Scripture tells us, that, Proverbs 25 Verse 28 He that [hath] no rule over his own spirit [is like] a city [that is] broken down, [and] without walls. Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn t this relate to self-control? Either you have it, or you don t! The Man or woman who displays this inward strength of Meekness, submits himself and his circumstances; even his enemies into The Hands of The Lord. Psalm 37 Verses 3(a),4(a),7(a)-8 Trust in The LORD, and do good; 27

Verse 4(a) Delight thyself also in The LORD; Verse 7(a) Rest in The LORD, and wait patiently for him: Verse (8) Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. Turn the other cheek, bless those that curse you, got the extra mile, if your enemy is hungry, feed him! Proverbs 25 Verse 21 If thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink: In 2 Samuel 16 Verses 9 & 11, it is written concerning the time of David s son Absalom and his usurping of King David s throne, King David, had been forced to flee into the wilderness. Then, one of Saul s men called Shimei, cursed at David and threw not only insults, but stones. David s nephew Abishai pleaded with David to take his head clean off his shoulders for these insults to his King. But David, would have none of it! 2 Samuel 16 Verse 9 Then said Abishai the son of Zeruiah unto the king, Why should this dead dog curse my lord the king? let me go over, I pray thee, and take off his head. 28

2 Samuel 16 Verse 11 And David said to Abishai, and to all his servants, Behold, my son, which came forth of my bowels, seeketh my life: how much more now [may this] Benjamite [do it]? let him alone, and let him curse; for The LORD hath bidden him. Let him be, let him mouth off, what goes around, comes around God, is in control!!! That my friend, is Meekness, the Meekness of a very powerful man! Meekness, is not uncontrolled lightning that strikes at random, Meekness, is power under control! High voltage potential stepped down to a place of controlled direction! King David, though absent from his own throne, ruled form the throne of his own heart! Proverbs 25 Verse 28 He that [hath] no rule over his own spirit [is like] a city [that is] broken down, [and] without walls. 29

Like a shotgun blast, all bang and tons of damage! Fire under control, can be used to either soften or harden steel. Fire under control, brings even steel to the furnace from which many great things can be created. Buildings, ships, bridges even planes, but fire out of control, will destroy them all! The power of fire under control, is a great description of the original Greek word for Meekness. When we temper steel, we strengthen the minute molecular structure, we in fact, strengthen the steel. But, when we lose it s temper, it s like brittle cast-iron that shatters under a well placed blow! Irony being, is that is what occurs to we humans, once we lose our cool and anger gains control over our gentle inward character. That s why the Bible, says, Ephesians 4 Verses And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in Righteousness and True Holiness. (25) Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another. 30

The meekness, flies out the window we lose our temper, and it s gone off into the blue. There is a place, for right placed anger in our natures, but God Words sums it up in the very next verse. Ephesians 4 Verse 26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: In other words, get it resolved, never retire to bed angry, you will literally stew all night and awake even more angry and irrational, simply because you have let it bomb your mind all night and you are worn out, and just plain tired. Moses descended the mountain, after spending such a wonderful forty days and nights in The Very Presence of God only to have that communion destroyed, because Israel had resorted to party mode! They were out of control when God prompted Moses to go down. Exodus 32 Verses 7-22 And The LORD said unto Moses, Go, get thee down; for thy people, which thou broughtest out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted [themselves]: 31

(8) They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed thereunto, and said, These [be] thy gods, O Israel, which have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. (9) And The LORD said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it [is] a stiffnecked people: (10) Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of thee a great nation. (11) And Moses besought The LORD his God, and said, LORD, why doth thy wrath wax hot against thy people, which thou hast brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty hand? (12) Wherefore should the Egyptians speak, and say, For mischief did he bring them out, to slay them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth? Turn from thy fierce wrath, and repent of this evil against thy people. (13) Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, thy servants, to whom thou swarest by thine own self, and saidst unto them, I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken of will I give unto your seed, and they shall inherit [it] for ever. (14) And The LORD repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people. (15) And Moses turned, and went down from the mount, and the two tables of the testimony [were] in his hand: the tables [were] written on both their sides; on the one side and on the other [were] they written. 32

(16) And the tables [were] The Work of God, and the writing [was] The Writing of God, graven upon the tables. (17) And when Joshua heard the noise of the people as they shouted, he said unto Moses, [There is] a noise of war in the camp. (18) And he said, [It is] not the voice of [them that] shout for mastery, neither [is it] the voice of [them that] cry for being overcome: [but] the noise of [them that] sing do I hear. (19) And it came to pass, as soon as he came nigh unto the camp, that he saw the calf, and the dancing: and Moses anger waxed hot, and he cast the tables out of his hands, and brake them beneath the mount. (20) And he took the calf which they had made, and burnt [it] in the fire, and ground [it] to powder, and strawed [it] upon the water, and made the children of Israel drink [of it]. (21) And Moses said unto Aaron, What did this people unto thee, that thou hast brought so great a sin upon them? (22) And Aaron said, Let not the anger of my lord wax hot: thou knowest the people, that they [are set] on mischief. Is it any wonder that the man vented his spleen and exploded in stern rebuke, smashing The Tables of The Law that he d carried down from God to the children of Israel!!! Or, what do you say to Jesus, and the whip of cords that He used to drive the money changers out of The Temple! 33

This my friend, was a determined act; the tables were turned over and men and beast were driven out of The House of Prayer by Gentle Jesus, meek and mild! I just love the strength of my King, don t you!!!?? In closing, I want you to think for a minute about The Awesome Creative Power of The Living God. We have an agreement in our dialogue, that God Loves you and me and our neighbour. God, is Love and He desires to reign in our hearts through Christ, by Love. The way that He achieves this, is in total agreement with The Spirit of His Love, and The Person of His Son. Yes, The Great and Powerful Father, has stepped down The Power of His Presence, to dwell in the very hearts of His Created being called Man. Now, that s Power under control, that s Meekness! That s the awesome Anointing that you feel when you don t know how to contain Him in your heart because you think it s going to burst it s so full of The Living Waters! 34

That s, The Power of His shed Blood! That obliterates every trace of sin in the creature man! That s The Power of Meekness, the inward heart, held captive by the Nature of The Man Christ Jesus. Yes, Jesus Christ, has come in the flesh, His Own, to touch you in yours! Blessed are the Meek! Luke 24 Verse 39 Behold My Hands and My Feet, that it is I myself: handle Me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see Me have. If ever we are going to understand this wonderful revelation of scripture that we can be, 2 Peter 1 Verse 4(b) partakers of The Divine Nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 35

Then, we had better drop all the preconceived ideas that we ve previously had concerning The Be-Attitudes of Christ s Sermon on the Mount. The spotlight of Christ s dialogue, centres in the first three Be-Attitudes toward that of Self! They virtually hammer home the point of either we are dead to Self, and Alive to Christ, or we are not! 1) Blessed are the poor in spirit Just where are we in our relationship with Christ? Either we are His, and He is ours, or we are NOT! 2) Blessed are they that mourn Do we lament and grieve over the sin that so easily besets? 3) Blessed are the Meek! Is Self, under the control of selfishness, or have I died to self, and self-seeking!!!?? 36

About the authors. By way of introduction, the only heart desire of The Dalton family, is to see more folk, coming out of themselves, and going deeper into personal relationship with the person of our Lord and Saviour, The Lord Jesus Christ: Bob & Nikki, have compiled and published materials helpful for growth and development in regards to their vision of being an available resource to assist folk to be schooled and skilled in basic foundational doctrine... Our only desire before God is to honour and serve the Lord as a family. We love The Lord Jesus Christ and our Father God with all our hearts and are so grateful for the ever faithful ministry of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Psalm 40 Verse 8 I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law [is] within my heart. Our injunction to you is therefore... Let us join together to, Church the Un-Churched, Teach the Un-Taught, and most of all, Reach the Un-Reached... for Jesus! Go Ye...! Speak Ye...! Do Ye...! 42

Copy-right... personal observations. To those Brethren, that have laboured long and hard in The Word of our God... we take time to bless them publically for their endeavours to pass on that Holy Ghost inspired Word throughout His Church... Hebrews 6 Verse 10 For God [is] not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. Therefore, edify The Body of Christ, encourage and exhort; but remember, if you are tempted to call the work of another your own, you are the one that will in the end be held responsible for your actions. The Spirit of Grace, gave the work to the hand of the scribe, who faithfully put pen to paper. Plagiarism, is not only illegal, it is immoral; above all, we must... Romans 12 Verse 10 [Be] kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; So we exhort you in the name of our Lord and Saviour, to feel quite free to use the material with which the Lord has so blessed us and those before us, bearing in mind that the preeminence belongs to The Lord Jesus Christ Himself... Your brother and sister in Christ s service, Bob & Nikki Dalton. Matthew 10 Verse 8(b)... freely ye have received, freely give. 43
