May the Lord welcome Eamon into his true home in heaven and console his wife Ethna, his family Edward, Helen and Anne, his nine grandchildren, his brother Michael (Shanacoole) and his sisters Theresa (Lissycasey), Madge (New York) and Susan (New York). We pray for Jim Dunne, Tullyvarraga Crescent, Shannon, formerly of Kanturk, Co. Cork and Southampton, England, beloved wife of the late Theresa, Canon Island who died on 29th September May the Lord grant Jim eternal rest and console his loving daughter Marion, son-in-law Gerry Mc Gowan, grandchildren Stephen, Ashling and Conor, brothers Ted & Joe, sisters Veronica & Mary, sisters-in-law Monica, Kate & Kathleen, nieces, nephews and all who formed his circle of love and care. We pray for Michael Sheehan, Caherdavin, Limerick and formerly of Kildysart, Co. Clare who died on 26th September May the Lord welcome Michael into his eternal home in heaven and console his wife Gillian, sons Michael, Peter and Dermot, grandchildren Phoebe, Cillian and Fia, sisters Tessie and Nancy, daughters-in-law Deirdre and Marian, nephews, nieces and all who formed his circle of love and care. We pray for Margaret Meaney, Cappanavarnogue who died on 30th September 2016 in her 96th year. Margaret s first anniversary Mass will be celebrated in St Michael s church, Kildysart on Friday, 13th October at 8 pm. May the Lord grant Margaret eternal rest and comfort her daughters Maura, Rose and Kathleen, her grandchildren Niamh, Brian and Aiden, all her family and all who mourn her. Baptisms: We welcome Casey Thomas Fox into the family of faith. Casey was baptised on Saturday, 30th September 2017 in St Michael s Church, Kildysart. We congratulate his parents Sinéad and Dylan, Main Street and pray God s continued blessing on the family. We welcome Mark Anthony Solomon Cleary into the family of faith. Mark was baptised on Saturday, 30th September 2017 in St Michael s Church, Kildysart. We congratulate his parents Rebecca and Seán, Ballynacragga and pray God s continued blessing on the family. The Priests Collection will be taken up this weekend. We thank you for your unfailing generosity. Parish Census: A census of attendance at Masses in the diocese will take place on this weekend and next weekend. Pastoral Council: The next meeting of Kildysart Parish Pastoral Council will take place in the Community Centre, Kildysart on Wednesday, 11th October at 8:30 pm. Mission Month: Today marks the first day of the Mission Month of October. World Missions Ireland is the Holy Father s charity for overseas mission and is responsible for coordinating Mission Sunday in Ireland. Visit St John Bosco CC: Grandparents of the students of St John Bosco CC are invited to the school on Sunday, 15th October at 12 pm for a cup of tea & a tour of the school. At a recent meeting the Committee has decided as a once off, to reduce the cost of graves, from 1st Sept. to 31st Dec. St Mary s AC: Bernie Meaney Memorial 5K Walk/Run, Kilmurry Mc Mahon Community Centre, Sun., 15th Oct. at 1 pm. Contact Safeguarding: The Diocesan Safeguarding Service are holding child safeguarding awareness sessions for people who come into contact with children as part of their involvement in parish life, i.e., pray and play, altar servers helpers, children s choirs, youth ministry, Eucharistic ministers., parish secretaries etc. The session will take place on Wednesday, 18th October 2017 from 7 pm until 9 pm at the Crusheen Parish Centre and Wednesday, 15th November from 7 pm until 9 pm at the Bellbridge House Hotel, Spanish Point. Missionvale: Molly McCarthy, Lilly Keane and Davan Livington from St John Bosco Community College will shortly travel to Missionvale in South Africa to help Sr Ethel Normoyle in her work with the poor. They will speak at Mass in the parish next weekend. Kildysart Tidy Towns: We are appealing to all Dog owners. Would you please clean up after your pets. Kildysart Tidy Towns have a limited amount of containers and polythene bags for the above purpose. You could get one from Michael Michael s. Please lets keep Kildysart CLEAN AND GREEN.
