1 Do You Want to Get a Whole Lot Smarter? You CAN! Lorraine Day, M.D. How can I do that? If you go to public high school, you will get dumbed-down. If you go to a Christian high school, you will learn that God is a Killer God who will throw people into hell, that we must support the troops as they kill innocent people, that there is a literal hellfire where God will burn either forever, or some period of time, those He has created and claims to love, that He just says, Try your best and I ll make up the rest, that it is acceptable to kill another person before he kills you (self defense) even though Jesus did the opposite, and that you need to keep only NINE of the TEN Commandments. If you go to a secular college, you will learn that communism is good, Christians are bad, evolution is correct, creation is a wild myth, white heritage is evil and should never be cherished, but the heritage of every other nationality or race must be revered far above the white race. And you will learn very little that will put you into a good position to get a job in a very tight job market. If you go to a Christian college, unfortunately, you will learn little about true honesty or integrity, you will learn that true communism really has never been tried and that every instance where it occurred in the past, or is occurring in the present where it takes away everyone s rights and makes them slaves - is not REAL communism, that Christians are special in God s sight and are His children and that the rest of the world s population are NOT His children. If you go to medical school, you will learn how to drug your patients with harmful medications that never cure any disease, or that you should cut off their body parts or cut out their organs, neither of which will cure any disease. If you go to law school, you will learn that the fate of your client rests in the hands of corrupt judges that are often bought off, or corrupt, violent police who plant drugs on those they choose, and who, instead of helping you, will often harm you or kill you for no reason. So, how does one get Smarter?

2 We find the answer in the Bible, including in the Psalms: The reverential awe (not fear ) of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do His commandments... Ps 111:10 Blessed is the man who reverences the Lord, who delights greatly in His commandments Unto the upright there arises light in the darkness. (The righteous one) shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord. His heart is established, he shall not be afraid. Ps 112: 1,3,4,8 The Lord preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he saved me. Ps 116:6 The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me? It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man (This Is the middle verse of the Bible) It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes (leaders). The Lord hath disciplined me severely; but he has not given me over unto death. Ps 117:6,8,9,18 Open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of Thy law. It is good for me that I have been afflicted: that I might learn Thy statutes. I know, O Lord, that Thy judgments are righteous, and that Thou in faithfulness hast afflicted me For the eons, O Lord, thy word stands firm in heaven. Thou, through Thy commandments., hast made me wiser than my enemies: for they are ever with me. 2

3 I have more understanding than all my teachers: for Thy testimonies are my meditation. I understand more than the ancients (the aged ones), because I keep Thy precepts. Through thy precepts I get understanding... Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path... The entrance of Thy words gives light: it gives understanding unto the simple. Great peace have they that love Thy law: and nothing causes them to stumble. My help cometh from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. Ps 119:18, 71,75, 89,98,99,100, 104,105,130,165, The Lord shall keep thee from all calamity; he shall preserve thy soul. Ps 121:7 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that gives to all men liberally, without reproach: and it shall be given him. But let him ask in FAITH, never doubting. For he that doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven with the wind and tossed. For let no that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. James 1:5-8 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! Romans 11:33 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this world? Hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? 1 Cor 1:19,20 3

4 The foolishness of God is wiser than men: and the weakness of God is stronger than men For consider your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: For God has chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God has chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty. 1 Cir 1:26,27 That your faith should not be in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are mature; yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the rulers of this age, that come to nothing. But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the secret wisdom, t hat God predetermined before the ages unto our glory; Which non of the rulers of this age knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 1Cor 2:5-8 But as it is written, Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things that God has prepared for them that love Him But God has revealed them unto us by His spirit: for the spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God: that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. For the natural (soulish) man cannot received the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because spiritual things are spiritually discerned. 1 Cor 2:9,10,12,14 Let no man deceive himself, If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this age, let him become a fool (let him become teachable) that he may be wise. The wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness. 4

5 And again, the Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile. Therefore, let no man glory in men. 1 Cor 3:18-21 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the expectation of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints. Eph 1:17,18 So why have doctors and medical researchers NEVER found ONE cure for even ONE disease in the entire history of medical research? Why are so few lawyers honest? Why can judges be bought? Why do Christians have no knowledge of what is really going on in the world, and why are so many of them sick? Because they don t know God and thus they have NO wisdom. 5
