2 Oftentimes young Christians become discouraged when they discover that even tho they have received the Holy Ghost, they are still tempted and prone to fail along certain lines. They had thought that they would never be tempted again! As a result the devil puts doubts in their minds as to whether they are really saved. Questions fill their minds such as: Why am I battling all the time against sin and the world? Am I really saved? Is so, why do these temptations keep coming? Maybe I didn t really get the Holy Ghost. If I did, why do I have all these temptations and desires? THE REASON THEY ARE DISCOURAGED IS BECAUSE THEY FAIL TO SEE THAT THEY NOW HAVE TWO NATURES TO DEAL WITH. FIGHTING FOR POSSESSION OF THE SAME BODY. Galatians 5:16.17 This study will help us to understand what happens when we are saved, and how to OVERCOME so that we will be ready when Jesus comes for His Bride.
