7 DAVID S LIFE THROUGH THE PSALMS Women of all ages. Journey with us as we walk through David s life in 1 and 2 Samuel with weekly stops in the Psalms that David wrote during particular events in his life. We will watch as David grows in his trust and confidence in the Lord. We will journey with him in his victories and in his deeply troubled times. As we study, we will be pointed beyond David s circumstances to see the goodness of our Heavenly Father in all situations and seasons of life. 9 LESSONS IN LUKE Women and mothers who enjoy a time of teaching along with the opportunity for small group fellowship. In his Gospel, Luke the Gentile Physician provides an orderly, investigated account of the historical life of Jesus. Luke carefully and selectively records Jesus miracles, messages, and ministry to the least, the last, and the lost. Luke looks beyond Jesus as Messiah for the Jews and sees Jesus as Savior of the world. Luke s message is still good news for us today. Jesus is indeed the Savior of the World who has Come to seek and to save the lost.
