1 San Jose Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee Election Notice Dear member, You being a registered member of the Sikh Gurdwara San Jose are entitled to vote for the election of 21 members of Parbandhak Committee on August 30, The election will be held at the San Jose Gurdwara between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 PM. Your registration number is printed on the address label of this card. On the Election Day, you must bring the following with you: 1. Photo ID: The following are acceptable forms of photo ID that shows current address within the counties of Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Contra Costa, Monterey, San Mateo, or San Benito US Government issued drivers license/id Passport/Green Card (If ID does not show your current address, then must bring original Utility Bill/US Government issued letter or any other relevant document with valid address) 2. Your registration number is printed on top of the address label Enclosed is a sample ballot that includes names of candidates who are seeking election. The official ballot for voting will be given to you at the voting station. Detailed information about candidates is also available at Gurdwara bulletin board and Gurdwara website. You may ONLY vote for 21 candidates, if you vote for more than 21 candidates your ballot will be invalid. Candidates running for the Parbandhak Committee shall address the congregation about their programs on Sunday, August 16, 2015 between 2.30pm 3.30pm at San Jose Gurdwara There will be no election campaign at the Gurdwara Sahib on Election Day. The election results will be announced on August 30, 2015 and the new Parbandhak Committee will take the office.
