1 1702 AD WILLIAM DIES CHILDLESS: POWER OF PARLIAMENT ASCENDS EVENTS IN 1702 AD 1 Shall a man make gods; that are not gods? (Jeremiah 16 v 20) In 1692, the Anglo-Dutch fleet defeated a French fleet at La Hogue, the allies controlled the seas, and Ireland was pacified thereafter by the Treaty of Limerick. In Europe, the Grand Alliance fared poorly: William III lost Namur in 1692, and lost the Battle of Landen in William III was absent from the realm for extended periods during his war with France, leaving each spring and returning each autumn. While William III was away fighting Mary II governed the realm. Each time he returned, she gave her power to him without reservation. In 1694, Mary II died of smallpox leaving William III to rule alone. Despite his conversion to Anglicanism, William III's popularity plummeted during his reign as a sole monarch. In 1694, the Bank of England was granted Royal Charter along the same lines as the Amsterdam Bank, a private institution owned by bankers. It laid the foundation for the ascendance of the English economy in global commerce and the decline of the Dutch Republic. In 1696, the Jacobites plotted to assassinate William III, but failed. In 1697, the Nine Years' War ended. Louis XIV recognised William III as King of England, and undertook to give no further assistance to James II. The Jacobite threat was over. In 1701, Parliament passed the Act of Settlement, which debarred Roman Catholics from the throne thereby excluding the candidacy of dozens of people. William III s marriage with Mary II yielded no children and he did not remarry. Mary's sister, Princess Anne, had borne numerous children, but all died during childhood. The death of Prince William, Duke of Gloucester, in 1700 left Princess Anne as the only individual left in the line of succession established by the Bill of Rights. In 1702, William III died of pneumonia, a complication from a broken collarbone following a fall from his horse, who stepped into a mole s burrow. 2 PROPHECY OF JEREMIAH 16 V 20 Shall a man make gods? They are not gods. (Jeremiah 16 v 20) There are many insights this prophecy provides: Shall a man make gods? William III became King because a cabal of senior men invited him to invade, after which Parliament, men elected by men, appointed him King while another, who legitimately was the King, was still alive; They are not gods William III had no right to be king. His house, Orange-Nassau, was Dutch, not related to English royalty. His wife was related to English royalty but only in line after James II who was still alive; Shall a man make gods? William III, a ruler, a god, could not make gods, sire sons or daughters to rule after him; William III was a Puritan Calvinist, yet he converted to Anglicanism. Anglican Church membership requires accepting the religious order of its priests over its members. Therefore William III stands accused of making gods setting priests over himself; They are not gods : after William III was a succession of weak monarchs in England. Shall a man make gods? Power transferred from the court of the monarch to the office of the Prime Minister and his cabinet, the new gods of England. They are not gods : Prime Ministers and Cabinet Members and parties were the weakest gods of all, forced to fight for their legitimacy in an election every four years. The Jacobists were correct. The Glorious Revolution by which William became King, was an usurpation. England broke the divine right and descent of kings and appointed a person to occupy the throne who would severely limit its power: moving towards a figurehead position. Cromwell had attempted to introduce republicanism to England. He was thwarted by the Anglican Church, who saw his Puritan sympathies as a threat. Then Parliament and the Anglican Church resisted James II who was perceived as a threat to Protestantism. History does not play out like a chess game. In the real world the pieces of the same color war and battle each other! Bishops versus the King! Pawns and Bishops versus King and Knights! The Quakers were wise to see: they are not gods. They prayed to the true God in Heaven and He came in their midst (see our papers 1644 AD and 1647 AD and 1662 AD).

3 SPIRITUAL NUMBER ANALYSIS For a mind that has wisdom please read on. See truth from another perspective. PART ONE Chapter 16 of Jeremiah is the 85 th chapter of The Prophets. The spiritual number 85 means Holy Communion A Holy Communion is the union between a King and his people superintended by a vow to God. Christianity is a Holy Communion between God Almighty and sincere believers no intermediary because of the vow of the Father to honor the sacrifice of the Son and permit sincere believers (who put faith alone in Christ s blood) into his eternal Kingdom. The Anglican Church is an unholy communion because the relationship of believers to God is interrupted by a self-appointing priesthood. None of the priestly vows nor the priestly administrations of sacraments have a whit of significance in the Kingdom of God in fact they nullify it, replacing works of religious law-keeping for faith in the Cross. The Kingdom of England is an unholy communion because the divine right of its King is interrupted by the authority of Parliament. (Note: We are not saying the government of England is illegitimate we are merely saying it is unholy. The common-law relationship of a woman with a man is legitimate if there is mutual submission and love; but it is unholy if it is not superintended by the vows of marriage: a subtle but distinct difference). Until Kingdom Comes on planet earth there will never be an enduring holy communion between a people and their monarch. Every King or Shah or Caliph who ever reigns until then will ruin their legacy by the sinfulness of their desires, the weakness of their wisdom, or the mortality of their bodies. We have seen flashes when leaders of men surrender their own rights and well-being for the good of the people. But eventually they corrupt, like William who converted to the Anglican Church in order to appease his enemies and expand his power. The Christian is called to show respect and obedience to authorities in the land and to be model citizens in the community. But the Christian is called to wait for the Kingdom of God to replace all authority and power on earth with an everlasting holy communion under God. Even so, come Lord Jesus!

4 PART TWO Jeremiah 16 v 20 is the 19,357 th verse in the whole Bible starting at Gen 1 v 1. The number 19,357 = 13 x 1489 [237 th prime] The spiritual meaning of 13 is Rebellion The spiritual meaning of 237 is God s Spirit Fills a New Priest The spiritual meaning of 1489 is Christ Our High Priest When the veil in the Temple was torn from top to bottom the Spirit departed from Temples of Religion forever. Christ died and ascended to Heaven where he brought his precious blood into the Temple in Heaven that was desecrated when Adam and Eve sinned. He perfected the way for men to be saved and come to God once and for all. He became the New Priest that God s Spirit Fills and now sits on David s Throne at the right hand of the Farther in Heaven. When William III became a member of the Anglican Church he acted in Rebellion to Christ Our High Priest. When he took the holy wafer and the holy wine from the Anglican priest he nullified Christ Our High Priest that is above. What blasphemy! Did William III cease to be saved? Was he damned to hell for his disobedience? This is what the Book of Galatians says: You who are trying to be justified by [religious] law have been alienated from Christ: you have fallen away from grace. (Gal. 5:4) What does it mean to fall away from grace? Mark my words, I Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised, Christ will be no value to you at all. (Gal. 5:2) The opinion of this author is that we cannot lose our salvation, we can only lose reward and position in the next life. If we died with him we live with him; if we endure we reign with him; if we disown him, he will disown us; if we are faithless, he will remain faithful, for he cannot disown himself. (2 Tim 2:11-13) The Cross becomes of no effect, so for believers who apostatise to go to heaven they must be elected for a second-rate salvation: similar to Jews with a hardening of heart - they won t go to hell but they will be the lowest class of citizens of heaven (Rom.11:26-28). 5 PART THREE Jeremiah 16 v 20 is the 1702 nd verse of The Prophets starting at Isaiah 1 v 1. The number 1702 = 23 x 74 The spiritual meaning of 23 is Death The spiritual meaning of 74 is Beast Almost universally William III is regarded by Protestants as the virtuous slayer of the Dragon the Catholic Kings of England. That is not God s perspective. William III sat on the throne of England, and therefore also was the Head of the Church, the Anglican Communion. As such William III, by outward appearances, from his behavior and his speech was a saint, a believer in Christ. But when William III was crowned King of England and jointly Head of the Anglican Church of England, he became the Beast God s sworn enemy. William III was not the fulfillment of the Beast of Revelations, but he shared characteristics: The Beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies (Rev. 13:5) Just as the apostle John taught us as you have heard the Antichrist is coming, even now many Antichrists have come (1 John 2:18) In 1702, William III died: Death (of the) Beast. In the same way, the ultimate Beast of Revelations will only possess his worldly kingdom for a short hour then he will pass away.
