2 Truly a message from God. In 1971, Ray Tomlinson was experimenting with ways people and computers could interact. When he sent a message from his computer through a network to a different unit in his office, he had sent the first . Now decades later, more than a billion s are sent every day. Many contain important news from family and friends, but others may carry unwanted advertising or a destructive virus. A basic rule governing use is: Don t open it unless you trust the sender. God has sent us a message in the Person of His Son, and we can trust the Sender. In the Old Testament, God spoke to His people through the prophets and many rejected God s Word. But it was all leading to this: God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds (Heb 1:1-2). We may be awed by the inexplicable mystery of Almighty God entering our world as a baby, yet remain hesitant to embrace Christ fully and place our lives in His hands. 3 JESUS a category of His own For there is no other name given to man under heaven, by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12) S e l e M u South East London Evangelistic Mobile Unit

4 Jesus is unique in all the world. Some very good people have founded religions over the centuries. One religious leader spent a good portion of his life trying to find truth an admirable quest. Another religious leader was a teacher and a civil servant who drew up a code of honour for his people a respectable venture. No matter how good originators of world religions may have been, they cannot in any way compare with the founder of Christianity. The major reason is simply this: they are all in the category of good men, while Jesus is in a category of His own He is the God-man. Jesus alone is Immanuel ( God with us, Matthew 1:23), the Living Word (John 1:14), the Saviour of the world (Luke 2:11), and the promised King and Messiah (John 1:41). Only Jesus is the Son of God (Matthew 26:63-64). Only He could truthfully assert His equality with His heavenly Father when He said I and My Father are One (John 10:30). Only He lived the perfect life and was without sin. Only the death of Jesus and His resurrection provide life everlasting. Only He is able to and willing to answer your call for salvation today. Jesus is unique in all the world. He alone is worthy of our worship, adoration and awe. He alone is the perfect Man. The divine One. The provider of salvation. Don t settle for anything or anyone less. Not all roads lead to God, As many people claim; There s only one true way, Christ Jesus is His name. 6 No entry into heaven without Jesus. Some years ago, I was denied entry into my country of destination because of visa problems. Although I was under the assumption my visa had been correctly issued by the country I planned to visit, it was deemed invalid. Despite the efforts of my pleading, nothing could be done. I was not allowed in. Instead, I was placed on the next flight back to England. No amount of intervention could change the fact that I did not have the proper validation for entrance. That experience with my visa was inconvenient, but it can t begin to compare with the ultimate entry rejection. I m speaking of those who will stand before God without valid entry into heaven. What if they were to present the record of their religious efforts or good deeds? That would not be enough. What if they were to call character references? That wouldn t work either. Only one thing can give anyone entry into heaven. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me (John 14:6). Christ alone, through His death, paid the price for our sins. And only He can give us valid entry into the presence of the Father the One who issued the decree and raised Jesus from the dead. Have you put your faith in Jesus? Make sure you have a valid entry into heaven.
