(Luke 10:7; Acts 4:34-35) I pray for our pastor and staff ministers as I pray for those of us who make up the body of Christ that they ll tithe and be generous with others. Help them to have the character of Abraham, to whom You revealed Yourself as our Provider. Help them to love, worship, obey and fear You in reverence and awe. (Malachi 3:10; Proverbs 21:13; 22:9; Luke 6:38; Genesis 22:2, 5, 18, 12, 14)
12 May seeking You be a way of life for them, so that they may always have every good thing that they need. Help them to be excellent stewards of what You give them, as we all should be. (Psalm 34:10; Matthew 25:19-21) Provide for them generously. In Jesus name amen, so be it! Prayer 29 May our pastor and staff ministers Live with Abounding Grace May they be those who sow and reap generously. May You make all grace every favor and earthly blessing come to them in abundance, so that in all things at all times, having all that they need, they will have more than enough for every good work. (2 Corinthians 9:6, 8) May You Who supply seed to the sower and bread for food, give them all the resources they need that they might see a great harvest from their goodness. Make them rich in every way so that they can be generous on every occasion; may their generosity result in thanksgiving to You. (2 Corinthians 9:10-11) May their lives produce good fruit. May they be like the land that is blessed with rain and produces a crop useful to those for whom it is farmed. I thank You that You are not unjust; You will not forget their work and the love they ve shown You as they have helped and will continue to help - Your people. (Luke 6:43; Hebrews 6:7, 10) Bless all that they do; keep Your hand upon them. In Jesus name amen, so be it! Prayer 30 May our pastor and staff ministers Live and Pray like Jabez I thank you for Jabez life and for his prayer and Your answer that are recorded in scripture. I offer a similar prayer for our pastor and staff ministers. (1 Chronicles 4:9-10) May they live honorably humbly, as Jabez must have lived, for it s never honorable for anyone to seek his own glory, and You detest the proud of heart. May they honor You with their lives and complete surrender. (Proverbs 25:27; 16:5; Romans 12:1) Bless them indeed, that they may be a blessing in the lives of those they serve. Extend the influence of their ministry, multiplying everything they do like loaves and fish for Your glory. Let Your hand be with them, helping them to run in the path of Your commands, serving You with all their heart. (Genesis 12:2-3; John 15:8; Psalm 119:32; Joshua 22:5) Keep them from evil. Help them to turn from evil to do good, seeking peace and pursuing it, hating what is evil and holding on to the good. Protect them from the evil one. (Psalm 34:14; John 17:15) May You grant their requests. In Jesus name amen, so be it!
