FOR WHOEVER FINDS ME FINDS LIFE, AND OBTAINS FAVOUR FROM THE LORD. PROVERBS 8:32-35 One of the principles about gaining favour with God is to always say teachable. Anyone who despises instruction abdicates their rights to walk in the covenant blessings of God. Proverbs 11:27 says, He who earnestly seeks good finds favour According to the Bible, there is none good but God. If I could summarise the search for favour into two words, this what I would say: SEEK HIM Seek Him with your whole heart, soul an body. Seek Him through his word. Seek Him through prayer. Seek Him through obedience and through the body of Christ. Those who thirst for Him will be filled. In light of this teaching, how will you pursue God s presence in the future? Page 4

6 THE MORE WE SPEAK TO THE MOUNTAINS IN OUR LIVES, THE MORE WE WILL SEE THE FAVOUR OF GOD MANIFESTING AND MOVING THOSE MOUNTAINS. IN TURN, THE MORE WE SEE THOSE MOUNTAINS MOVE, THE GREATER OUR FAITH WILL BECOME. JERRY SAVELLE HEART ISSUE Search your own heart. What are the deepest cries of your heart? What motivates those prayers? Page 5

7 HE WHO DESPISES THE WORD WILL BE DESTROYED, BUT HE WHO FEARS THE COMMANDMENT WILL BE REWARDED. THE LAW OF THE WISE IS A FOUNTAIN OF LIFE, TO TURN ONE AWAY FORM THE SNARES OF DEATH. GOOD UNDERSTANDING GAINS FAVOUR, BUT THE WAY OF UNFAITHFUL IS HARD. PROVERBS 13:13-15 PRAY FATHER, I M SORRY FOR THE TIMES WHEN I VE SOUGHT YOUR BLESSINGS WITHOUT SEEKING YOUR PRESENCE. I DON T WANT TO BE LIKE THE ISRAELITES WHEN THEY HUNGERED FOR YOUR PROTECTION IN THE WILDERNESS, BUT DIDN T WANT TO HEAR YOUR VOICE. MAY MY HEART AND MY MOTIVES BE PLEASING TO YOU. I ASK THAT YOU HELP ME TO CORRECT MY MOTIVES. I ASK THAT IN JESUS NAME. AMEN. Notes: Page 6
