All: Here we support the journey of all who long to grow closer to God. Here we welcome the followers of Jesus Christ. Here we are inspired by the Holy Spirit. And here, all questions are welcome. One: Faith is sometimes messy. Faith grows stronger and faith dims. Sometimes we walk away from faith. All: It is precisely because none of us has it all figured out that we promise to live, serve, work and grow in this faith community. Here, I can lean on you and you on me. Together, with the power of the Holy Spirit, we seek to grow closer to the Three in One.

This allows us to have the entire church worshiping at the same hour, renewing friendships and for all to enjoy an extended fellowship time on the front lawn following worship. On September 10, we will return to two worship services at 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. SUMMER CHURCH OFFICE HOURS Monday Thursday: 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. In addition, please note that we hope to be open during the lunch hour each day, but this might not always be possible. If you are making a special trip at the lunch hour, we encourage you to call first. Thank you for your consideration.

This is a valuable service to our staff who can then come in and prepare for worship and Sunday School. More volunteers are needed! INTRODUCING A PROPOSED VISION The Vision, Mission, Strategy (VMS) Task Force is eager to introduce to you a proposed new Vision for CPC. The VMS Task Force has been hard at work discerning God's purpose for CPC for months. They have reviewed the proposed Vision with Session at two separate meetings and with staff. Please join them at any of the following gatherings to learn more about the new Vision, ask questions, offer your ideas and actively engage in the work of God's Spirit here at CPC. This year we are having our Visual Arts Sunday at the end of October coordinating with the 500th anniversary of the Reformation. The theme is Priesthood of All Believers. Any artwork you bring in will be displayed throughout the church. Any and all mediums are welcome! Contact Pastor Lauren with any questions. PARTNER IN PRAYER with our summer mission caravan participants! We still need prayer partners for our three remaining caravans. All you need to do is write a letter to your caravan partner and pray for them each day of their trip. Sign-up sheets are in the narthex.
