Virtue: Areta: a virtuous course of thought, feeling, and action. Heb 4:10 (NIV) 10 for anyone who enters God s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his. Eph 3:20b (NKJ) 20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. 1 Cor. 1:30 (NASB) 30 But by His doing, you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption Heb 4:16 (NIV) 16 Let us then approach God s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Ps 91:1-7, 9-16 (NLT) 1 Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. 2 This I declare about the LORD: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him. 3 For he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease.

His faithful promises are your armor and protection. 5 Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day. 6 Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday. 7 Though a thousand fall at your side, though ten thousand are dying around you, these evils will not touch you. 9 If you make the LORD your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, 10 no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home. 11 For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go. 12 They will hold you up with their hands so you won t even hurt your foot on a stone. 13 You will trample upon lions and cobras; you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet! 14 The LORD says, I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name. 15 When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them. 16 I will reward them with a long life and give them my salvation.

Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit. Ps 92:12-14 (NIV) 12 The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; 13 planted in the house of the LORD, they will flourish in the courts of our God. 14 They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green, 15 proclaiming, The LORD is upright; he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him. Ps 37:5, 18-19,25-26 (NIV) 5 Commit everything you do to the LORD. Trust him, and he will help you. 18 The blameless spend their days under the LORD s

6 P a g e 6 care, and their inheritance will endure forever. 19 In times of disaster they will not wither; in days of famine they will enjoy plenty 25 I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread. 26 They are always generous and lend freely; their children will be a blessing. Ps 112:4 (NLT) 4 Light shines in the darkness for the godly. They are generous, compassionate, and righteous. Ps 112:6a-9 (NLT) 6 Such people will not be overcome by evil 7 They do not fear bad news; they confidently trust the LORD to care for them. 8 They are confident and fearless and can face their foes triumphantly. 9 They share freely and give generously to those in need. Their good deeds will be remembered forever. They will have influence and honor. John 4:10b (NKJ) 10 If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, Give Me a
