2 INTRODUCTION The Scriptures reveal that it is always God s will to heal His children completely, spiritually, emotionally, physically, financially, and relationally. God has already provided complete healing for us by placing on His Son not only our sins, but also their consequences, including sorrows, sicknesses, poverty, broken relationships, and other consequences of sin [be the sin ours, another's, or Satan's]. (See Isa. 53:4,5,10; Mt. 8:16,17; Gal. 3:13). Since Jesus has carried all sins and their consequences, we do not have to carry them. Instead, we need to see our sins and sicknesses on Jesus, and we shall be healed. This booklet contains Scriptures that reveal God s absolute willingness to heal believers who walk in faith and obedience. While most of these Scriptures deal with healing the body, they can apply to any area of need for healing, including the spirit, soul, body, finances or relationships. Jesus didn t die for our spiritual well being only, by carrying just our sins, leaving us to suffer in other areas of our lives. Like a loving parent who provides for the complete welfare of a child, Jesus has provided for healing in every area of our lives. His name, Jesus, is the translation of the Hebrew word yeshuwah, meaning salvation. This word can be translated deliverance, aid, victory, prosperity, health, help, and welfare, according to Strong s Exhaustive Concordance. God has provided for our complete healing through His Son, and Jesus name and work of atonement guarantee it. If God always desires health for believers, why are many not experiencing it? There can be various reasons, including Satanic opposition, unbelief, unconfessed sin, disobedience, backsliding, ignorance of God s promises, breaking of God s natural laws (diet, exercise, rest, hygiene), failure to stand in faith, trusting in symptoms and feelings, and failure to act in faith. These are all problems on our part. God has done His part. Now we must do ours. As we walk in faith and obedience, we will experience the fullness of healing. Use this booklet, along with the accompanying CDs, to hear, read, and speak God s word for your health and healing. As you do this faithfully, your faith will grow to receive the fullness of God s provision. God loves you and wants you to walk in complete health in every area of your life. Praise the Lord! -i-

GOD S WILL AND DIVINE HEALING (Gen 1:27) So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. (Mal 4:2) But to you who fear My name The Sun of Righteousness shall arise With healing in His wings; And you shall go out And grow fat like stall-fed calves. (Mt 8:2-4) And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying, "Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean." Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, "I am willing; be cleansed." Immediately his leprosy was cleansed. (Jn 6:38) "For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. (Jn 15:7) If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. (Acts 10:38) How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. GOD S WORD AND DIVINE HEALING (Ps 107:20) He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions. (Prov 4:20,22) My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings.for they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh. (Mt 8:7,8,10,13) And Jesus said to him, "I will come and heal him." The centurion answered and said, "Lord, I am not worthy that You -1-

4 should come under my roof. But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed. When Jesus heard it, He marveled, and said to those who followed, "Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel!. Then Jesus said to the centurion, "Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you." And his servant was healed that same hour. (Rom 10:17) So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. KINGDOM BLESSING AND DIVINE HEALING (Isa 35:5,6) Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, And the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Then the lame shall leap like a deer, And the tongue of the dumb sing. For waters shall burst forth in the wilderness, And streams in the desert. (Mt 10:5,7,8) These twelve Jesus sent out and commanded them, saying: And as you go, preach, saying, 'The kingdom of heaven is at hand.' Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. (Lk 8:1,2) Now it came to pass, afterward, that He went through every city and village, preaching and bringing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God. And the twelve were with Him, and certain women who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities. (Rev 22:2) In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. SATAN AND DIVINE HEALING (Job 2:7;42:10) So Satan went out from the presence of the LORD, and struck Job with painful boils from the sole of his foot to the crown of his head.and the LORD restored Job's losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before. -2-

5 (Lk. 7:21) And that very hour He cured many of infirmities, afflictions, and evil spirits; and to many blind He gave sight. (Lk 13:11-13,15,16) And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bent over and could in no way raise herself up. But when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him and said to her, "Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity." And He laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.The LORD then said "So ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound-think of it-for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath?" (Col 1:13,14) He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. (Col 2:15) Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it. [the Cross] (Heb 2:14,15) Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. (Jas 4:7) Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. (1Pt 5:8,9) Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. (1Jn 3:8) He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. -3-

6 (1Jn 4:4) You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. (Rev 12:10,11) Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. SIN AND DIVINE HEALING (Ps. 38:3) There is no soundness in my flesh Because of Your anger, Nor any health in my bones Because of my sin. (Isa 59:1,2) Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, That it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy, That it cannot hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you, So that He will not hear. (Mk 2:5, 9-11) When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, "Son, your sins are forgiven you. Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, 'Your sins are forgiven you,' or to say, 'Arise, take up your bed and walk'? But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins"--he said to the paralytic, "I say to you, arise, take up your bed, and go to your house." ISRAEL AND DIVINE HEALING (Ex 15:25,26) There He made a statute and an ordinance for them. And there He tested them, and said, "If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the LORD who heals you." (Ex. 23:25,26) So you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you. No one shall suffer miscarriage or be barren in your land; -4-

7 I will fulfill the number of your days. (Deut 7:15) And the LORD will take away from you all sickness, and will afflict you with none of the terrible diseases of Egypt which you have known, but will lay them on all those who hate you. (Deut 32:39) Now see that I, even I, am He, And there is no God besides Me; I kill and I make alive; I wound and I heal; Nor is there any who can deliver from My hand. (Ps 41:3) The LORD will strengthen him on his bed of illness; You will sustain [restore] him on his sickbed. (Ps. 105:37) He also brought them out with silver and gold, And there was none feeble among His tribes. THE ATONEMENT AND DIVINE HEALING (Isa. 53:4,5) Surely He has borne our griefs [sicknesses] And carried our sorrows [pains]; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions. He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. (Isa 53:10) Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief [sickness]. (Mt 8;16,17) And He healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses. (Gal 3:13) Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree"). (1Pt 2:24) Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness-by whose stripes you were healed. 5-

8 JESUS AND DIVINE HEALING (Mt 4:24) Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them. (Mt 9:35) Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. (Mt 15:30) Then great multitudes came to Him, having with them the lame, blind, mute, maimed, and many others; and they laid them down at Jesus' feet, and He healed them. (Lk 4:40) When the sun was setting, all those who had any that were sick with various diseases brought them to Him; and He laid His hands on every one of them and healed them. (Lk 6:17-19) And He came down with them and stood on a level place with a crowd of His disciples and a great multitude of people from all Judea and Jerusalem, and from the seacoast of Tyre and Sidon, who came to hear Him and be healed of their diseases, as well as those who were tormented with unclean spirits. And they were healed. And the whole multitude sought to touch Him, for power went out from Him and healed them all. (Lk 8:43,44,48) Now a woman, having a flow of blood for twelve years, who had spent all her livelihood on physicians and could not be healed by any, came from behind and touched the border of His garment. And immediately her flow of blood stopped. And He said to her, "Daughter, be of good cheer; your faith has made you well. Go in peace." JESUS NAME AND DIVINE HEALING (Lk 10:17,18) Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, "Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name." And He said to them, "I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. -6-

9 (Jn 14:13,14) And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. (Jn 16:23) Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. (Acts 3:6-9,16) Then Peter said, "Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk." And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them-walking, leaping, and praising God.[Peter said to the people] "And His name, through faith in His name, has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all. (Acts 4:12) Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. ALL BELIEVERS AND DIVINE HEALING (Ps 30:2) O LORD my God, I cried out to You, And You healed me. (Jer 17:14) Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; Save me, and I shall be saved, For You are my praise. (Mt 14:14) And when Jesus went out He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with compassion for them, and healed their sick. (Mt 14:35,36) And when the men of that place recognized Him, they sent out into all that surrounding region, brought to Him all who were sick, and begged Him that they might only touch the hem of His garment. And as many as touched it were made perfectly well. (Acts 8:6,7) And the multitudes with one accord heeded the things spoken by Philip, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. For unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, came out of many who were -7-

10 possessed; and many who were paralyzed and lame were healed. (Acts 28:8,9) And it happened that the father of Publius lay sick of a fever and dysentery. Paul went in to him and prayed, and he laid his hands on him and healed him. So when this was done, the rest of those on the island who had diseases also came and were healed. (1Thes 5:23) Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. OUR MINISTRY AND DIVINE HEALING (Mk. 6:7,10-13) And He called the twelve to Himself, and began to send them out two by two, and gave them power over unclean spirits. Also He said to them, "And whoever will not receive you nor hear you, when you depart from there, shake off the dust under your feet as a testimony against them. So they went out and preached that people should repent. And they cast out many demons, and anointed with oil many who were sick, and healed them. (Mk 16:15,17,18) And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover." (Lk 10:1,2,9) After these things the Lord appointed seventy others also, and sent them two by two before His face into every city and place where He Himself was about to go. Then He said to them, "The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest. And heal the sick there, and say to them, 'The kingdom of God has come near to you.' (Jn 14:12) Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. -8-

11 (Acts 5:14-16) And believers were increasingly added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women, so that they brought the sick out into the streets and laid them on beds and couches, that at least the shadow of Peter passing by might fall on some of them. Also a multitude gathered from the surrounding cities to Jerusalem, bringing sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all healed. VARIOUS METHODS AND DIVINE HEALING (Mt 7:7,8) Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. (Mt 18:19,20) Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them. (Mk 16:17,18) And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover. (Acts 19:11,12) Now God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul, so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out of them. (1Cor 12:7,9,10) But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles. (Jas 5:14,15) Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. -9-

12 FAITH AND DIVINE HEALING (Mt. 9:28,29,30) And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, "Do you believe that I am able to do this?" They said to Him, "Yes, Lord." Then He touched their eyes, saying, "According to your faith let it be to you." And their eyes were opened. (Mt. 15:22,28) And behold, a woman of Canaan came from that region and cried out to Him, saying, "Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! My daughter is severely demon-possessed." Then Jesus answered and said to her, "O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire." And her daughter was healed from that very hour. (Mk. 6:5,6) Now He could do no mighty work there, except that He laid His hands on a few sick people and healed them. And He marveled because of their unbelief. (Mk 11:22-24)Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, Be removed and be cast into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. (Lk 18:35,38,42,43) Then it happened, as He was coming near Jericho, that a certain blind man sat by the road begging. And he cried out, saying, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me! " Then Jesus said to him, "Receive your sight; your faith has made you well." And immediately he received his sight, and followed Him, glorifying God. And all the people, when they saw it, gave praise to God. (Acts 14:9,10) This man heard Paul speaking. Paul, observing him intently and seeing that he had faith to be healed, said with a loud voice, "Stand up straight on your feet!" And he leaped and walked. (2Cor 5:7) For we walk by faith, not by sight. -10-

13 (Heb. 11:1,6) Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. (1Jn 5:4) For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world-our faith. PRAYER AND DIVINE HEALING (Gen 20:17) So Abraham prayed to God; and God healed Abimelech, his wife, and his female servants. Then they bore children. 2Kgs 20:5) Return and tell Hezekiah the leader of My people, Thus says the LORD, the God of David your father: I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will heal you. On the third day you shall go up to the house of the LORD. (Lk 5:15,16) However, the report went around concerning Him all the more; and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by Him of their infirmities. So He Himself often withdrew into the wilderness and prayed. (Jas 5:16) Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. PRAISE AND DIVINE HEALING (Ps 103:2,3) Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases. (Ps 105:1,2) Oh, give thanks to the LORD! Call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples! Sing to Him, sing psalms to Him; Talk of all His wondrous works! OBEDIENCE AND DIVINE HEALING (2Kgs 5:1,10,14) Now Naaman, commander of the army of the king of Syria, was a great and honorable man in the eyes of his master, because -11-

14 by him the LORD had given victory to Syria. He was also a mighty man of valor, but a leper. And Elisha sent a messenger to him, saying, "Go and wash in the Jordan seven times, and your flesh shall be restored to you, and you shall be clean." So he went down and dipped seven times in the Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God; and his flesh was restored like the flesh of a little child, and he was clean. (Prov 3:7,8) Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and depart from evil. It will be health to your flesh, And strength to your bones. (Mt 12:10,13) And behold, there was a man who had a withered hand.then He said to the man, "Stretch out your hand." And he stretched it out, and it was restored as whole as the other. (Jn 9:1-3,6,7) Now as Jesus passed by, He saw a man who was blind from birth. And His disciples asked Him, saying, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?" Jesus answered, "Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him. He spat on the ground and made clay with the saliva; and He anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay. And He said to him, "Go, wash in the pool of Siloam" (which is translated, Sent). So he went and washed, and came back seeing. CONFESSION AND DIVINE HEALING (Rom 4:19-21) And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah's womb. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform. (Rom 10:8,9) But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart" (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. -12-

15 (Heb 10:23) Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. YOUR SOUL AND DIVINE HEALING (Ps. 41:4) I said, "LORD, be merciful to me; Heal my soul, for I have sinned against You. (Ps 42:5) Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him For the help of His countenance. (Ps. 147:3) He heals the brokenhearted And binds up their wounds. (Isa 26:3) You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You. (2Cor 10:4-6) For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled. (Phil 4:6-7) Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Phil 4:8) Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy-meditate on these things. -13-
