Odian Knight & Br.Clero Bautista Inside Guard They maintain order and helps set up Council meetings. Fr. Lorenzo Salandanan Chaplain Our parish pastor is our Spiritual Advisor and leads the prayers while at our meetings Br. Luigi Tedesco & Br. Tomnann Outside Guard They maintain order and helps set up Council meetings. Br. Mark Weusten Deputy GK The Deputy Grand Knight is the right hand of the Grand Knight and fills in for him if he is ever unavailable Br. Joe Peronne Recorder Maintains a full and accurate account of all council, meetings and actions. Br. Patrick Philpott Chancellor The Chancellor helps new members become involved with the activities of our Council. Br. Ben Idubar 1st Year Trustee Is a guardian of our Council s funds and maintains financial integrity. Br. San Shwe Treasurer The Treasurer is responsible for the funds of the Council. Br. Joe Vella nd Year Trustee Is a guardian of our Council s funds and maintains financial integrity. Br. Alex Vigar Financial Secretary Our Financial Secretary administers the financial affairs of the Council. Br. Fulvio Iannotti rd Year Trustee Is a guardian of our Council s funds and maintains financial integrity. Br. David Wilson Advocate The Advocate looks into and clarifies rules and guidelines for the Council when necessary. Br. Gerson Rodrigues Fraternal Benefits Servicing the fraternal benefits and insurance needs the Councils. Br. Philip Mantenuto Warden Oversees the ceremonies, that they be beautiful and significantly exemplified. Br. Mark Weusten Membership Director Coordinates the Council's Membership, Recruitment and Retention. Br. Chris Murphy Past Grand Knight Assists the Council through his experience in Council affairs Br. Tony Ciciarellii District Deputy Provides leadership to the Council s in our District All Executive Members listed above are required to attend the Executive Meeting on the 2nd Wednesday of every month. All Brothers who are not on the Executive are welcome to attend the Executive Meeting optionally. 3 Grand Knight s Report Br. Douglas McRonney-Apaw Brothers, Advent tells us Christ is near, and Christmas tells us that Christ is here. This is the time of the year we look back and reflect and thank God for our blessings. It has been a great year for our council and the parish community. I would like to thank all those who supported our efforts to raise money and donate to help with the breakfast club in our parish schools, the church, and needy families in our community. We have so much to be grateful for and we thank God for all his blessings. As many families gather for this festive season, the question of our faith sometimes arises; the church s tradition speaks of the great gift brought by Jesus. Those who believe, see, and they see with a light that illuminates their entire journey, for it comes from Jesus Christ, the morning star that never sets. And in Mathew chapter 5 versus 16 sums it up. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Brother Zolio De Guzman on the completion of his 4 th Degree Exemplification on November 16 th Let us also keep in our thoughts and prayers, our Brother Bill Ivory and his family, on their recent loss of Della and may she rest in peace. As many of you are already aware, we will be having our New Year s Eve Dinner and Dance this year and we need you to come out and support this event as proceeds goes to support our work in the parish community. The Children Christmas Party will be held on December 7 th 2014, following the 12:00 o clock Mass. Dinner for the needy families will be held on Sunday December 14 th after the 12:00 pm Mass. We will hold our Family/Pot Luck on Monday December 15 th after the 7:00pm mass instead of our general meeting and please plan to attend. The St. Vincent de Paul Food Drive campaign has been lunched, and we will need your support to donate non perishable food to this worthwhile cause. We need brother knights to volunteer in all activities and to help our parish community. I would like to thank Fr. Lorenzo and Fr. Jimmy for their guidance, and the parish community for their continuous support of our council.
