5 Second Grade Parent and Student Exploring Faith- Sacramental Preparation Meetings 2017~ :00 AM ~ 10:45 AM Parish Center October 9 Our first gathering meeting will be an introduction to what the Church is calling us to become. We also will be focusing on the preparation and foundation for the sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Eucharist. November 13 Becoming fishers of men! We will learn to know more who Jesus was and is to us. The Our Father Prayer is a good place to start exploring. March 19 This month we will be discussing the sacraments of Holy Eucharist and Reconciliation. How can we share in God s love when we celebrate these and all of the seven sacraments. 6 Please note some new and exciting changes to our faith formation program for the school year! Building upon our Sunday morning faith classes for children in grades K-5 we have added some family events this year! So please join us! Halloween Party, Sunday Morning Movie, Annual Christmas Pageant and Breakfast, and our s. All offered during 9:00am-10:45am in the parish center. They are highlighted for your convenience. The s are designed for our children and families to continue their work on the publication book- God s Masterpiece; pen pal letters, and the gorgeous hand painted banners created by the children for the children of Africa. They all proudly hang in the libraries and computer labs. Hope for Ghana, a nonprofit, invested in providing tools to Ghanaian children in the rural villages of Africa. Children who are hungry to learn and now have that opportunity for a hopeful future. We are sharing the Word of God with our friends!
