2 NPBA SCHOLARSHIP RECEPIENTS MISSION TRIP TO RED LODGE, MT Because of the generosity of NPBA awarding scholarships, a group of thirteen from Second Baptist Church, Jacksonville went on mission to Church of the Rockies in Red Lodge, MT. While there they served in a public school where they held a VBS/Sports Camp and also served meals to the community in two locations with Common Ground Ministries. As you can see in the pictures above, the children that went on this family mission trip wanted to serve as well. May this be just the beginning of their desire to serve our Lord! Thank You North Pulaski Baptist Dear North Pulaski Baptist Assn Ali, our children, and I are so thankful for the money you gave for our upcoming family mission trip to Nicaragua. This trip has been a dream of ours for a long time and your generosity made it possible for our dream to become a reality. The impact that this trip will have on our children will last a lifetime. 4 Mission North Pulaski: One Day Mission Trip Jacksonville, AR and surrounding areas! Saturday, September 10, 2016 Kick-Off Site: Second Baptist Church, Jacksonville Possible Mission Opportunities: 1. Prayer walking you will be trained and will go out in small teams. 2. Prayer Meeting Team If you are physically unable to serve on other teams, there will be a prayer meeting held to lift up this day and the ministries to take place throughout the day. 3. Evangelistic Teams. 4. Senior Adult visit, share Bibles, do crafts, other activities with seniors. 5. Home Repair/Painting help paint a home or do small repairs. 6. Yard Work Teams Raking, mowing, trimming. 7. Block Parties. 8. Plus other Ministries being added in the coming months. AGE GUIDELINES: Children ages 12 and under must be accompanied by their parent/guardian and work on the same team as their parent. Youth ages 13 to 17 must have one adult sponsor per 4 youth and at least one adult must serve with each youth team. SCHEDULE: 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Everyone must meet at 8:30 a.m. for a brief orientation and schedule review time, and then will immediately divide into teams for assignments. Lunch will be provided. Teams will stop working at 2:30 p.m. and clean up, pack their sites and report back to the Kick-Off site at 3:00 p.m. for a Celebration Rally. Everyone will be on the road at 3:30 p.m.. COST: $10 + a non-perishable canned good to be donated to the four NPBA Caring Centers. (This includes lunch. Special dietary needs not provided.) Make checks payable to NPBA or pay with cash. (Team assignments for any registration received after August 31 st will be made by coordinator and informed by only.)
