AGAPE KI AWAAZ The voice of Agape DECEMBER 2007 ISSUE #12 Rev. Joseph Suren - (Pastor/Evangelist) P. O. Box 4236, Samabula. Fiji Islands Phone: (679) Fax: (679) Mobile # josephsuren@connect.com.fj website: PRAYER Our Priority EVANGELISM Our Purpose MINISTRY Our Goal Theme for 2007: Harvest of Souls. Year of Breakthrough Praise the Lord and Welcome to this issue of Agape Ki Awaaz (The voice of Agape). I do hope that you are going to be blessed with the contents. I believe God will do something good in your life today. I encourage you to read the Word of God and allow the Spirit of God to show you all the great things He has for you. God will do it but you must believe. All things are possible to him who believe Amen! Agape greetings to you in the Name that is above every name, LORD JESUS CHRIST, the resurrected Son of the Living God. It is a great joy for me to share this message with you in this issue of Agape Ki Awaaz. I want to share with you my Christmas message and wishing you and your dear family a Merry Christmas blessed of the Lord. We are now right in the middle of much busyness and excitement and we will be looking forward to good times with our loved ones. Yes, we will be sharing our joys and exchanging gifts with one another.

And we will remember again God s greatest gift to us, His only Son, our Redeemer, our Healer, Jesus the Savior. Hundreds of years before His coming Isaiah (9:6) the prophet talked about this One, who would bear the royal titles of Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace of the increase of His peace there would be no end. In the midst of great apostasy, rampant paganism, sin and evil, when Israel was so far removed from God, they had not even heard from God for over 400 years, God chose that time to send His only begotten Son to redeem us. This is love beyond our comprehension. This kind of love calls each of us to a personal decision for God with total devotion and dedication. This same kind of love compels us to involvement in sharing the good news of the gospel of the kingdom of God with people. The first Christmas was the most momentous event the World has ever known. It had been prophesied for generations. These prophesies were fulfilled in one night in the greatest series of miraculous and supernatural events ever to take place since the time began. All these events centered around the birth of a baby 2007 years ago. So in God s perfect time, in God s place, this baby was born. And as Mary looked at this miracle child, she said, The angel told me to call His name Jesus, for He shall save His people from their sins. (Matthew 1:21). Yes, it is the reality of the person of Jesus Christ that makes Christmas significant to me. Jesus was born in a stable in a little town called Bethlehem. A bright, new star lit up the sky over His humble bed in that manger. A glorious choir of angels appeared in the heavens, singing and praising God in the highest. From them, a group of shepherds learnt that the Savior was born. They left their flocks and hurried into the city to find this baby. There were wise men who lived in a country far to the east of Bethlehem. They saw a star in the western skies and followed it until they found the baby Christ in the manger. There these wise men worshipped at His cradle and bestowed upon Him gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. And there is still more to the story. A wicked king named Herod was filled with wrath when he learnt of Jesus birth. An angel warned Joseph to arise and take the baby Jesus and His mother Mary and flee into Egypt that the child s life might be spared from the cruel anger of Herod. That glorious night of miracles long ago was just the beginning of good things for all mankind. It was God s way of saying, I love you, to every person who would ever live from that night on. It was the beginning of Christianity. Every church that dots the whole World today owes its very existence to what happened that wonderful night nearly 2007 years ago. The manger in Bethlehem was far more than temporary crib of a little baby who had been crowded out into the cold on the night of His birth. That manger was the cradle of the Christian faith. It was the birthplace of salvation from sin, healing of the sick, deliverance from the trouble that distressed the people of the World. All because the baby born in that manger grew to manhood. At the age of thirty He went out to accomplish His destiny. In only three and half years He showed the World what God is like and what God wants us to be like. That is why He came. Christmas time is here again. Children will go to bed on Christmas Eve, scarcely able to sleep for thinking of all the presents they will get in the morning. Families throughout the World will gather round their Christmas trees or at home to open expensive gift packages. But I know there will be many, who will have nothing because of poverty and tragedies etc. (Our Agape Church every Christmas morning since 1987, we make love parcels to distribute to such families. The contribution comes form our Lami Agape families).

It's sad indeed that so many people throughout the earth do not know the meaning of Christmas. Many celebrate the day and have a holiday, but it is so tragic that they do not celebrate what the day is all about. To many it is a time of parties, drinking, dancing and having what they call a big time; but they don't have true joy and peace. This is not the purpose or the reason of Christmas. Jesus is the reason for the season. Only people who have accepted Jesus Christ into their hearts have the joy and happiness of Christmas. The devil has caused men to be more interested in Santa Claus than Jesus of Nazareth. Too many people have taken Christ out of Christmas. It s easy to substitute myth for truth, Santa for Christ. But it is a poor trade. Let us not deceive ourselves. If we don t celebrate the Savior s birth on Christmas, we celebrate nothing. Wise men brought gifts to the Christ child in celebration of His birth and we should be taking gifts to Him who gave us everything we have. And what shall we give? The greatest single thing each of us can do is to give ourselves to Jesus completely and absolutely as our supreme birthday gift to Him. It was not empty song the angels sang over Bethlehem s plains that night, Glory to God in the highest and earth peace, good will toward men! Joy to the world, the Lord has come. What a source of encouragement to us as children of God, Jesus has come. He is our inspiration and contentment. We have no fear, no worry when He is our faith, our love and song. May the true gift of Christmas, His love, joy and peace be yours. My friend, Decide today, right now, to live in His will and to be blessed! It is your choice! Is Jesus the Lord and Savior of your life, if He is not, Romans 10:13 says, For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. That Name is Jesus! Savior, Healer, Deliverer! Do it today, call upon Him and receive your resurrection miracle from Jesus right now! If you have not invited Jesus into your heart as Lord and personal Savior, you can do that right now. Just pray this simple prayer, Dear Father in Heaven, I come to You now, I confess my sins and I ask for forgiveness. Wash me clean by Jesus precious blood. I acknowledge and receive Your Son Jesus Christ into my heart as my Lord and my Savior. Thank You Lord Jesus for saving me and writing my name in the Book of life. I receive the Grace to serve You all the days of my life. Amen. Friend, if you have meant that prayer, He has come, Lord Jesus Christ is yours. Heaven is your home; see you there, if not here! God bless and keep you and your dear family! My friend, if you are sick and afflicted, YOU CAN BE HEALED IN THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST! Jesus is the One who can get you well. So in Jesus Name be healed! Be Healed! Receive your miracle in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ! Amen! To God be the Glory! Hallelujah! God loves you and so do we! If Agape Ki Awaaz has been a blessing to you, then please copy and forward this to your friends and loved ones. us and let us know if God has blessed you through this article. I would appreciate your feedback on this message. Let me know whether it has been a blessing to you. We want to rejoice with you and pray for you and your loved ones. My friend, we need your prayers and encouragement that will certainly go a long way to forward the Kingdom of God. Till next issue, keep looking unto Jesus the Author and the Finisher of our faith. Keep in touch. God bless you and use you. There is a miracle waiting for you. Receive His breakthrough blessings and greatness in your life. For past issues, please do visit our website:

God Bless you and your loved ones! It is our sincere hope and prayer and we also believe that God s Greatness and Breakthrough will be so powerful in our lives, family and in our beloved Nation. My wife, Agape Families and I wish you and your dear family a blessed Merry Christmas. Thank you for your prayer support, encouragements and being a recipient of Agape Ki Awaaz each month. With Agape Breakthrough Blessings and Shalom. Joseph and Martha Suren Pastor Emmanuel with Pastor Johnson Gani leading worship Dear Pastor Joseph Once again greetings in Jesus Name. On behalf of our church members at Narere Assembly and board members, I write to express our sincere heartfelt thanks and appreciation to you and your Agape ministries. During the three nights of crusade, we all were touched and felt the awesome anointing in a very different way. Most of our new members had heard you for the first time and were really moved feeling the warmth of God s movement within them. Most of them saw for the first time the gift of healing that took place. During our Sunday morning worship service the senior pastor himself said it was a time of shaking all over. Pastor Joseph, we the board members and some senior youth members met this afternoon to take down the shed that was erected and one thing we all talked about was the general atmosphere during the three nights. It was totally in God s control. You see the hurricane that was coming, suddenly disappeared. Not a single drop of rain came down and even the wind was at ease. What else, every believer that was present had a fresh new anointing from the Lord.

Pastor, you have had lot of experience like this but to our local church it was really a blessing, a time of recommitment and a time of rededicating our lives to God. I as the associate pastor needed the second touch. We as Pastors, we preach and teach every Sunday but coming and listening to you for three nights was a strength gaining and like refueling. My wife Susan couldn t stop feeling God s peace working inside her. The testimony she shared, she said it was just coming from inside and this could go on and on. She says, it s nothing like to be in God s presence where you can feel a greater force is inside you. We are making plans for 2008 and surely we will love to see you and your Agape team again. Our prayers will always be there for you, your dear wife and the whole Agape ministries. Brother Joseph, you may not know, but to us the entire three nights were like a time of rejoicing and knowing that God is not done with us yet. He still loves each and everyone at Narere Assembly. Please keep up the wonderful work and surely His love and mercy is always and will always be upon you. God Bless Emmanuel (Assistant Pastor Narere Assembly) PHOTO ALBUM The following are few pictures from the crusade in Narere Assembly from December 7-9, 2007 Jesus said Suffer the little children to to come unto Me, and forbid them not Healed of severe pain Altar call & prayer Jesus, touch them! What did Adam say on the day before Christmas? It's Christmas, Eve! READER S RESPONSE ON OCTOBER ISSUE I am so glad to hear from you because I wanted to you dear brother. I believe God is answering our prayers. The day you prayed at our business before you left for Fiji, we got a call from AIG an agency broker for one of the big Insurance Company that has a big network for the panel beaters through out NZ to supply parts. They rang to say we got in. Our wonderful Lord answered our prayers. It would be mid Dec when we should be up and running in the network.
