3 LRUMC NOTICES - 4/20/14 THE SERMON SERIES, REDEEMING VALUE, concludes today. WE APPRECIATE THE BRASS QUINTET TODAY: Fred Boateng, trumpet; Deborah Watson, euphonium; Jaleiro Elsey, horn; Dale Lawton, trombone; and Randy Hampton, tuba. A HEARTFELT THANK YOU goes to the Altar Guild and their helpers for all their hard work in preparing the altar and the sanctuary during this Holy Season. A SPECIAL THANK YOU for all those who helped prepare the wonderful Easter breakfast. Our Sunday School will hold an EASTER EGG HUNT (games, snacks, and more) today at 10:00 AM in the auditorium. All pre-school through elementary school aged children are invited. ENVELOPES ARE IN THE PEWS FOR THE BOARD OF CHILD CARE AUXILIARY MEMBERSHIP DUES FOR The cost is $2.00 per person. Please consider supporting the children at the Board of Child Care by joining or renewing your membership in the Auxiliary. THE ASSISTANCE CENTER OF TOWSON CHURCHES provides food and other assistance to people in need in our community. As members of ACTC, Loch Raven UMC agrees to collect food or money each April. Envelopes are provided in the pews for ACTC collections this month. Several containers for the IMAGINE NO MALARIA CHANGING LIVES have been placed in the church narthex. Please consider making a donation of your pocket change to make a difference in someone s life. For more information you can contact Carole Webner. OUR YOUTH GROUP WILL BE SERVING LUNCH AT HELPING UP MISSION ON SATURDAY, APRIL 26. They will leave church at 9:30 AM. Helping Up Mission is a Christian recovery home for men that have substance abuse issues. Youth (ages 16 and up) and adults interested in volunteering, please contact John Mayden, Youth Director, at or johnmayden1@gmail.com. (Youth may earn community service hours for participating.) MAY/JUNE UPPER ROOMS are available in two places throughout the Church.
