1 Condell Park Bible Church Special Religious Education Curriculum Scope and Sequence

2 Basic Training Standard The delivery of our curriculum is taught with sensitivity and in an age appropriate manner. Our teachers are trained in the use of classroom technology such as interactive whiteboards and digital projectors if they are to be used. Our teachers undergo regular ongoing training which includes classroom management strategies and implementation of the curriculum. A review of SRE teaching is performed which includes teacher self-reflection, student feedback, classroom observation, supervisor feedback, mentor support and adherence to the authorised curriculum. The review process is part of our annual assurance process and includes a description of efforts to address identified issues such as further training and mentor support. We approve all materials and internet resources that are identified for use by SRE teachers. The curriculum is based on a 7-year program from Kindergarten to Year 6 as identified in the following Scope and Sequence. The delivery of lessons in Kindergarten and some lessons in Year 1 are spread over two weeks. A curriculum review and evaluation is performed at the conclusion of each year. Curriculum content details are available from Pastor Ron Christie, Condell Park Bible Church ( ).
