3 The Promised Gift Jesus wants us to be His witnesses. God gives us the Holy Spirit to help us. Holy Spirit The Spirit of God, the third person of the Trinity. The Holy Spirit changes our hearts and empowers us to live for God as we trust Jesus as Savior. The Holy Spirit is God s gift to us.

Salvation Everything God does to take away sins and create a right relationship between himself and a person. God sent His Son, Jesus, who died on the Cross and became our Savior.
