2 WELCOME Westminster Presbyterian Church is a covenant family of believers called by God to fulfill His purposes here in Laurel, and as a staging ground for worldwide kingdom growth where we seek to live out the Gospel of Jesus Christ to fill the earth with disciples, subdue it redemptively for God s glory, and worship Him joyfully. We are being redeemed and equipped by the Spirit to build up one another until the Lord returns.

Mike Allen CORPORATE CONFESSION OF SIN Heavenly Father, in humble repentance we confess that we have too often forgotten that we are Your covenant people. We have not pursued love, nor have we earnestly desired the spiritual gifts. Instead of building up one another we have been selfish. Instead of honoring You, we have desired the applause of man. For these things we ask for Your forgiveness and Your renewing grace. Transform us into courageous ambassadors of Christ and remind us we are Your servants, regardless of who we are or our position in this life. Draw us ever closer to You and bind us together. Embolden us to take up our cross daily and follow You. For the sake of Jesus our Savior, we pray, Amen. (Hear now our silent and individual prayers of confession)

8 ASSURANCE OF PARDON AND THE LORD S PRAYER Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. The outer ring of each cup tray contains wine, the inner rings contain juice. 10 ANNOUNCEMENTS Evening service begins at 6 PM. Please join us for a time of praise, fellowship and the study of God s Word. Parenting Seminar: We will be hosting a Parenting Seminar today starting at 4:30 PM here at the church. Dr. John Perritt will be speaking on the topic of sports and spirituality in adolescents. All adults are welcome. Nursery and childcare will be provided. There will be refreshments following the seminar. Congregational Meeting: We will have our annual congregational business meeting this evening at 6 PM. All members are encouraged to attend. Against the Flow is scheduled for March 23rd-25th at Twin Lakes. If you are interested in going, please let Jeremy or Kristen know by Friday, February 23rd. Cost is $120 per person. Our Annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, March 29th at 10:00 AM here at the church. Make sure your kids bring their baskets. Our 4th Annual Church Crawfish Boil will be held on Saturday afternoon of April 7th. Please make plans for you and your family to join us! Chattanooga Mission Trip: This year we will be going to Chattanooga, TN to work with a ministry called Widow s Harvest. The dates for this trip will be June 16th-June 23rd. The deadline to register for this trip is April 8th. Our Father/Son Camping Trip is tentatively scheduled for the weekend of April 27th-28th at Clarko State Park. This is open to our boys from 1st-6th Grade and their fathers. If you are interested, please let Kristen or John Lowery know.

These materials include: cardboard boxes of all sizes, cardboard tubes, paper towel tubes, toilet paper tubes, paper bags, bubble wrap, chests, and lanterns. If you are interested in contributing any of these items, or in volunteering in a certain area for the week, please let Kristen or the church office know.
