2 Promise Message February 2016 Page 2 For this month God wants to give us a promise from Psalm 77:14: You are the God who does wonders.. - Psalm 77:14 (NKJV) In this month God wants to do wonders in your life. Paul says in Ephesians 3:20 that He is God who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. Jeremiah 33:3 reads, Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know. In This month s promise message we will see the area where God wants to do wonders and to bless you. 1. Instability will become stability The situations that are unstable in our life God will do wonders and make it stable. Many times in our life when we go through unstable times, we struggle as people who cannot see any progress in our lives. That is why God wants to change the instability. In Matthew 14:25-27 we read that Jesus went walking on the sea to meet the disciples. When the disciples saw Him they were troubled because thinking He was a ghost and they feared. Jesus told them, Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid. All the disciples heard Jesus but only Peter bravely asked, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water. (Matthew 14:28) Jesus looked at Peter and called him and Peter got off the boat and walked toward Jesus. Peter who started walking on water started looking at the circumstances surrounding him and looked at the boisterous wind and feared and began to sink. When we look at this entire situation that Peter was in First, Peter started out with fear thinking he saw a ghost. Then, he bravely, with no fear went to walk on the water when Jesus called him. Lastly, he looked at his circumstances and began to fear again. Peter was unstable in his faith. Jesus reached and picked Peter and said, O you of little faith, why did you doubt? (Matthew 14:31) The reason for the instability was doubt and Peter focusing on his circumstance (the wind). When we have doubts and give attention to the circumstances in our life it will bring instability. Even in Thomas life we see that he had doubt about the resurrection of Jesus. Thomas says, Unless I see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe. (John 20:25). Thomas only believed after Jesus appeared and said, Reach your finger here, and look at My hands; and reach your hand here, and put it into My side. Do not be unbelieving, but believing. (John 20:27)...Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed. John 20:29 (NKJV)

3 Page 3 God wants us to give no space to doubts and unbelief in our life. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways. James 1:6-8 (NKJV) In your life God wants to do a miracle to bring about stability, so do not doubt, have faith and keep praying. He is God who strengthens those who seek Him. But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:6 (NKJV) Peter almost drowned looking at his circumstances but Jesus picked him and again Jesus and Peter walked together on the water and got into the boat. Just like this even in your life, God is able to do miracles and change your instability to stability. Do not be discouraged. 2. Your Inability will turn into Ability In your life God wants to change your inability to ability. In the scripture we read: Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour. And a certain man lame from his mother s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple; Acts 3:1&2 (NKJV) This lame man from the time he was born had to depend on someone else because of his inability to walk. One day when Peter and John walked into the temple this man asked for alms. Peter looked at him and said, Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk. (Acts 3:6) And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. Acts 3:7(NKJV).

4 And he got up walked and jumped and praised God (Acts 3:8). Until this time a man who was unable, received strength and was able. The reason for the change to ability was he received strength. Even in our life the reason for inability is because we have no strength on our life. When His strength comes the areas in our life where we struggle with inability will start to function. He wants to bring strength in our lives by doing a wonder. Hebrews 11:11 says : By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised. The womb that Sarah had was unable to produce a child but through the strength which she received that womb was now able to bring forth God s promise. Even in your life all areas that are unproductive will turn into productivity. For by You I can run against a troop, By my God I can leap over a wall. Psalm 18:29 (NKJV) It is God who arms me with strength, And makes my way perfect. Psalm 18:32 (NKJV) David in these verses says he will run into a troop with the strength that God gives him. When David in his life met a bear and lion he was able to catch the lion by the beard and kill both the lion and the bear with the strength God had given him (1 Samuel 17:35). David was a young man when he encountered the lion and the bear, his physical strength would have been less but could defeat both with the strength that God had given him. In the same way Samson even in his life encountered a lion. Page 4.Now to his surprise, a young lion came roaring against him. 6 And the Spirit of the Lord came mightily upon him, and he tore the lion apart as one would have torn apart a young goat, though he had nothing in his hand. But he did not tell his father or his mother what he had done. Judges 4:5&6

5 Page 5 With strength from God Samson could tear the lion like a goat. In the same way you may encounter many lion- like circumstances, when you see them you will not be unable but will have strength to overcome. God will give you divine strength and you will be successful person. In your life too, your instability will become stable and your inability will change to ability. Therefore do not be discouraged. Let the Lord bless this message to you and your family.
