Help them find a toy or game to encourage engagement during play me. :15 Music & Worship: Pick a song Have Kid Os use instruments and/or perform the song ac ons provided as you lead them in singing. Encourage the Kid Os to use their hands, feet, and voices as they worship God! :25 Snack & Bible Story: Jesus is Lost! 3 Jesus is Lost: Jesus in the Temple Ac vity: Find Jesus Materials: Boy (Jesus) doll toy or any doll in the room to represent Jesus Say This: Today we learned about Mary and Joseph searching for Jesus in the temple. For our ac vity today we are going to play Find Jesus. Do This: Have the Kid Os close their eyes while you hide the toy (Jesus) somewhere in the room. Allow Kid Os to look for the doll. Once it s been found, play again! You can even let the Kid O who found the doll hide it (with your help). Con nue playing as long as a en on span allows.

For our ac vity today we are going to match the pictures from this story! Do This: Spread picture cards out in random order. Ask Kid Os to match up the pictures. Help when needed. Talk about what s happening in each picture. If Kid Os are interested a er matching pictures, help them put pictures in the correct order.

7 Jesus Chooses His Disciples: Fishers of People Ac vity: Gone Fishing Materials: Fishing pole, towel, magnet fish, s cker prize Say This: Today we heard a story about Jesus making his followers fishers of people. He called his followers disciples. We are going to play Gone Fishing for our ac vity today! Do This: Have a volunteer hold up the towel and one by one let the Kid Os cast the fishing line to the other side of the towel. Have a volunteer a ach the fish to the pole, give it a tug, and have the Kid O reel in their fish. Allow each Kid O to have a turn fishing. Remind them that Jesus wants us to be fishers of people and teach people about God s love.

9 A Hole in the Roof: Jesus Healed the Sick Ac vity: Roof Toss Materials: Bean bags, corn hole board Say This: We just heard a story about a sick man s friends lowering him down a hole in the roof to be healed by Jesus. For our ac vity today we are going to play Roof Toss. Do This: Make a line for the Kid Os to stand behind. Have the Kid Os take turns throwing bean bags into the corn hole board, pretending it is the roof. Explain to them how hard it must have been for the man s friends to lower him down the hole in the roof, but that it was worth it to see Jesus.

11 A Poor Widow s Gi : Generous with God s Gi s Ac vity: Share the Toy Materials: Toy (you choose it), Toddler music CD Say This: Today we are learning that it is important to share what we have with others, just like the poor widow shared her coins Do This: Ahead of me, choose any toy from your room. Have the Kid Os sit in a circle. Give one of them the toy and have them pass it around the circle while the music (any song from the CD) is playing. When the music stops the Kid O who has the toy can stand up and share it with another Kid O. Then, start the music again. Play as long as Kid Os a en on span allows.

13 Jesus Feeds Thousands Ac vity: Jesus Loves Say This: We just heard a story about a boy who shared his fish and bread. Jesus did a miracle with that li le bit of food, and fed 5000 people because he loves them so much! For our ac vity today, we are going to play Jesus Loves. Do This: Have the Kid Os stand in front of you. Pick an animal and tell the Kid Os to pretend to be that animal when you say, Jesus loves. Encourage the Kid Os to par cipate by exaggera ng the ac ons and noises with them. Play un l me or a en on span allows and be sure to end with Jesus loves YOU! Remind them to spread the word. The Samaritan man chose to help the hurt man. Jesus likes it when we choose to help others. For our ac vity today we are going to play Would You Rather? Do This: Instruct the Kid Os that they will be given two op ons and ask them to raise their hand for the op on they would choose. At the end remind them that we should always choose to help others because Jesus likes when we do that. Know this: The op ons are: Color or dance Jump rope or jump on a trampoline Help someone who falls or walk away Spend me with Jesus or clean the house
