The mission of the ministry is to inspire, encourage, and comfort those going through difficult situations in life including death of loved ones, marital issues, health challenges, drug addictions, financial woes, and many other heartaches of life. Charlie is a dynamic and inspirational speaker who is gifted to reach the heart of others. He began to write as a way of expressing his struggles and to help others. His first book entitled, When Flowers Fade was surprisingly chosen for review by the publisher. Charlie has since written four more books, Forgiveness: Walk Me Through It, The God of My Midnights, Whispers From My Father, and Daily Inspirations From the Scriptures. Charlie serves as associate minister at Union Chapel M.B. Church and conducts inspirational speaking events for youths and adults at churches, hospice groups, homicide survivors groups, and others.
