He is like a barren bush in the desert that enjoys no change of season, but stands in a lava waste, a salt and empty earth. Blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose hope is the LORD. He is like a tree planted beside the waters that stretches out its roots to the stream. It fears not the heat when it comes; its leaves stay green; in the year of drought it shows no distress, but still bears fruit. 7 SENIOR CITIZEN CLUB S Next luncheon is March 14th with traditional St. Patrick s day fare. Please pay the increased yearly dues of $15.00 on this day. So we know how many to plan for, please call leave a message by Feb 28th. Those who have a January, February, March birthday are asked to bring a dessert to share A Hook, a Look and a Book Nola Heidbreder, The Hill s textile artist, crafter and author, will be hosting an exhibit at the Hill Neighborhood Center (at the corner of Daggett and Marconi) from now through February 24.. The Neighborhood Center is open for Coffee on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-11am and Thursday through Saturday from 10am-3pm Marconi Ave Protecting Gods Children SAFE ENVIRONMENT PROGRAM WILL BE OFFERED: IN THE CHURCH HALL ON WED. (Mt-26:20) Dear Parishioners, The construction of our new Adoration Chapel is well under way and is expected to be completed in early March. The new chapel will give us the opportunity to have uninterrupted adoration and expand our program. In the past we have had to have many cancellations due to competing Church activities. Our goal is to expand our program which currently consist of adoration on Friday s from 8:00am 12:00pm. Sometime in March we will expand hours to additional days and in the very near future try to bring back 24 hours adoration on the first Friday of each month. There have been many questions surrounding Eucharistic Adoration. As part of our program we will be having an informational meeting after each mass the weekend of March 2 nd and 3 rd. There will be people available to answer questions and plenty of literature to take with you to expand your knowledge of this ancient Catholic practice. Thanks The 2019 Hill House Tour Organizing Committee invites you to participate, hoping to build on the remarkable blueprint left by the 2018 organizers and to top last year s success. Houses: Have you considered showing your home? We are looking for: homes that are rehabbed or new. a home as a creative, lived in space where you made the best of your lot size and/or existing building structure. The homeowner decides which spaces the tour visitors will see. Sponsors: Funds raised through advertisement paid for the printing of the tour book/ticket last year, and along with ticket sales, contributed a significant amount toward the Hill Neighborhood Center. Six hundred ticket holders plus their personal networks will see your 2019 ad. Inexpensive advertising prices range from $25-$100 (due April 5 th ). Individuals are also welcome to purchase a space in support of the House Tour. Volunteers: The glue that holds it together! Please consider volunteering.
