Core Values, And Curriculum Competencies Addressed This seminar offers a practical study of the Epistle to the Romans. Using the components of sound biblical exegesis and exposition, the focus of the seminar is to prepare the participants for effective expository preaching. New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary has five core values: Doctrinal Integrity, Spiritual Vitality, Mission Focus, Characteristic Excellence, and Servant Leadership. The course will address the value of Spiritual Vitality by reminding the student that personal and corporate worship as well as instruction in God s Word are vital to ministers and their congregations. The Core Value Focus for the academic year is Servant Leadership. 3 Content outline of Romans 마가복음내용아웃트라인 Read Mark four times in its entirety, preferably in one sitting each time. Use four different translations; include different types of translations. Make notes on the ways Mark used details in the text to indicate where sections start and stop. Note issues that will be helpful in determining background issues. Based on your reading and notes, create an outline of Mark. Do not use commentaries for this outline, and try not to be unduly influenced by the divisions in your translations. Use the outline and notes in the other assignments. 마가복음을매번마다한번에책전체를네차례정독한다. 네개의다른번역본을사용하라. 어느부분에서단락이시작되고멈추는지를표시하면서본문속에서바울이사용했던세부사항들을언급했던방식들로노트를하라. 배경문제를결정하는데에도움이되는문제들을주목하라. 이아웃트라인을위해서는주석들을사용하지말고번역성경에나타난내용구분에지나치게영향을받지말라. 다른과제물들아웃트라인과노트내용을사용하라. The paper should involve a synthesis of the positions of the authors of both required commentaries, plus the involvement of three other sources (Commentaries, Bible Dictionary, Bible Encyclopedia, Journal Article, etc). 배경및서론연구보고서는트라비안스타일로작성해야하며일인칭사용은허용되지않는다. 본연구보고서는지정된두권의주석저자들의입장과다른 3 개의자료들 ( 주석들, 성경사전들, 성경백과사전, 학술논문등 ) 의입장을종합하는것이어야한다. 3. Exposition Paper 주해보고서 Each student will prepare a page, double-spaced Exposition Paper from assigned passages, as listed below. The Exposition must reflect use of the two required commentaries (Stott and Moo). Each student will make a verbal presentation of the Exposition during the seminar. Consult Turabian 6 th edition as format and style guide for the Exposition, especially for footnotes, margins, page numbers, headings, etc. 학생들은아래에제시된대로부과된본문에대하여더블스페이스를사용하여 페이지분량의주해보고서를작성해야한다. 주해보고서는두권의교과서주석을사용해야한다. 학생들은세미나기간동안주해보고서를구두로발표하게될것이다. 주해보고서작성을위해특히각주와마진그리고페이지번호, 제목등의포멧과스타일안내를위해서트라비언스타일제 6 판을참고하라. 4 What is exposition? 주해란무엇인가? Exposition is presenting, explaining, or expounding a text of Scripture, involving exegesis (a study of the historical, grammatical, and theological background of the text) and hermeneutics (interpretation that leads to application). The Exposition paper is not to be a sermon. It is material that one could use to develop a sermon. It is where you explain, argue, apply, and illustrate the material at hand. We don't just want to know what the commentaries say. It's like when you "expound" in a sermon, you use commentaries for the foundation, but you also tell the listeners how you interpret the text and how it applies to their lives. Think of it this way -- if I were completely unfamiliar with that passage of Scripture, and I read your Exposition, when I finished, would I be able to understand that text, what it meant in its context, and how it applies to my Christian journey now? The text has been divided in an effort ensure that each student has a comparable workload. For this reason the sections do not always follow thought breaks in the text, though we tried to avoid breaking a passage in the middle of a sentence or clause. Your first task in the exegetical section of the exposition paper will be to place your passage in its immediate context (Is it part of a larger argument?) and its context within the letter (How does your argument fit in the letter as a whole?). Use the outline you created earlier in this section. 본문은학생들에게골고루분담되도록나누어졌다. 이런이유로비록절이나문장의중간에서구절들을나누지않도록노력을기울이기는했지만, 본문의사상의단위들을정확하게따르는것은아니다. 주해보고서의주해부분을위해여러분들이해야하는첫번째임무는전후문맥과서신서전체의문맥속에서의본문의위치를정하는일이다. 여러분이이미완성한아웃트라인을이부분에서활용하라. Additionally, your exegetical section of this paper should include a discussion of all significant words and any unusual grammatical constructions (be sure to consult the commentaries here). The hermeneutics section should include a discussion of any difficult interpretive issues, as well as a summary of the main issues raised in the passage. 또한여러분의보고서중주해부분은모든중요한단어들, 예사롭지않은문법의구조들 ( 이부분에서주석들을사용하는것을잊지말라 ) 에대한토론을포함해야한다. 해석부분은본문에서제기된주요문제들의요약뿐만아니라, 난해한해석상의문제들에대한토론을포함해야한다.
