FIRST KIDS WORSHIP Children ages K5 through 5th grade go directly to Room 140, the Children s Church room, from Sunday School each Sunday. BLESSINGS IN A BACKPACK FBC is responsible for this ministry during the months of February and April. In the past we have asked for donations of food to help provide food for children on the weekend. However, in an effort to adequately provide what the students need, you are asked to donate money and we will purchase specific items. Please indicate Blessings in a Backpack on your envelope. We will not be taking food donations. You may donate at any time. We will be taking a Blessings in a Backpack offering this morning at the end of the service. DivorceCare and DC4K meets on Sunday nights at 5:30 p.m. If you or someone you know are separated or divorced please consider being a part of or telling them about this small group. NEW LADIES BIBLE STUDY In 7 sessions, Seamless, by Angie Smith, covers the people, places, and promises of the Bible, tying them together into the greater story of Scripture. Whether you've grown up hearing Bible stories or you're exploring Scripture for the first time, the full story of the Bible can be overwhelming. The group meets on Mondays at 10:00 a.m. in Room 210. I think Mark Devers says it well: Simply put, we need churches that are self-consciously distinct from the culture. We need churches in which the key indicator of success is not evident results but persevering biblical faithfulness.
