2 School Overview HRSSL is a part-time school to train and equip God's people: multi-generational, crosscultural, multi-denominational. It is a place to come, grow, and be equipped so you can go back to your churches, families, businesses and everyday lives with the Good News that God is reconciling the world to Himself, not standing in judgement, but arms wide open embracing the lost, hurting, and broken. We believe that transformed cities are the result of transformed people. We promote a learning experience both in and outside the classroom. You will be expected to take risks to stretch your faith and grow in your understanding of God. Relational bonds that will develop between students take on the feel of a family as each of you journey through healing, sanctification, and transformation. At the end of the school year, students will understand... Their identity as beloved sons and daughters of God Their mission to announce the kingdom, bringing heaven to earth Their mission field is anywhere and everywhere; not intimidated by the darkest of places or the coldest of hearts Revival is not a far off idea in the future, but as Jesus said, the harvest is ready right now. This year will be a time to allow God to form us into those who can go into every realm of society and bring Heaven to earth. The harvest is ripe, let us go and win for the lamb the rewards of his suffering! Mission Statement To equip and release passionate, fire-carrying sons and daughters of God into their full destiny; those who live with the purpose of bringing Heaven to earth; To see Heaven s reality as a lifestyle with signs and wonders becoming the norm and not the exception; To equip and train generations for sustained revelation of the Goodness of God on the Central Coast of California; To release and establish sons and daughters of God locally and globally into their Godgiven spheres of influence. 3 Basic Topic Outline Culture: Identity in Christ (royal priesthood), honor, kingdom culture, love of God Spiritual Inheritance & Value for Past Revivals Praise & Worship/Spiritual Warfare Prophetic Ministry & Healing Signs and Wonders Bible Study God's Government Academic Information We have adopted our curriculum from Bethel s School of Supernatural Ministry (BSSM) in Redding, CA. In-class activities include video teachings from Bill Johnson, Kris Vallotton, Danny Silk and others from BSSM. This material, combined with live teachings by other apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers, etc., will create a diverse and well-rounded school experience. Students will also have the opportunity to participate in other special events throughout the year. Participation in activities outside the classroom includes but is not limited to: various ministries at the Healing Rooms Apostolic Center treasure hunts outreach to the homeless bringing prophetic words to people in the city serving our cities In addition, in the fall we traditionally take a 5-day class road trip to BSSM in Redding, CA. This is not mandatory but is GREATLY encouraged because it is an excellent opportunity to bond with your classmates. We will also explore the possibility of taking a mission trip out-oftown. More information on this opportunity will be provided as it becomes available. Graduation Requirements: To be eligible to receive a Certificate of Completion, students must meet the following criteria: Satisfactorily complete course requirements and all homework Participation in activation outreaches Class attendance requirements fulfilled up to eight (8) absences allowed Tuition paid in full or on schedule according to an approved payment plan General Information School Year: September 13, May 18, 2017; Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6:00pm to 9:30pm plus four-six (4-6) hours per month in a scheduled activation activity. Classes are held at the Healing Rooms Apostolic Center in Santa Maria, CA. Housing: Each student is responsible for their own living expenses and arrangements. Childcare: Childcare is not available. 3

4 Accreditation: Healing Rooms School of Supernatural Life is not an accredited school with the State of California; therefore students are not eligible for government financial aid, student loans, or grants. Attendance: Students are expected to attend classes regularly and punctually and may have up to a maximum of eight (8) absences over the course of the year. A more detailed attendance policy will be discussed with those who have been accepted. Withdrawal: Any student who wishes to withdraw from HRSSL must arrange an appointment with the school director to discuss the reasons for withdrawing from the school. Refund Policy: In the event that a student withdraws from school within the first three months they may receive a refund. The refunded amount will be based upon the pro-rated monthly portion of paid tuition. After December 15, 2016 tuition is non-refundable. Auditing of Classes: Class sessions may be audited only on Thursday evenings unless prior approval has been given by the school directors. Individuals may audit one class session at no cost. There will be a $10 fee for additional sessions. Standard of Conduct: Students will seek to be Children of God, walking in the Spirit, and being imitators of Jesus. Our code of conduct is found in Matthew 5-7. Application Procedures 1. Application Packet - Each applicant must complete the admissions application packet, available by downloading the forms at or by picking a packet up at The Healing Rooms Apostolic Center, 3010 Skyway Drive, Santa Maria, CA Please answer all questions. If a question does not apply to you, write N/A (not applicable) in the space provided. 2. Application Fee - All applications must be submitted with a non-refundable application fee of $25. Please make checks payable to: Healing Rooms SMV and write 1st Year - HRSSL in the memo. 3. Passport Photo - You will need to attach a 2"x2" (passport style) photo of yourself on your application in the space provided. 4. Recommendation Form - A form is provided in this packet for your Pastor to fill out and send/fax directly back to HRSSL. There is a small portion at the top of this form which you will need to fill out for your Pastor prior to giving the form. If it is not possible for your Pastor to complete this, please choose a former pastor or spiritual leader you are currently in relationship with. If your Pastor is your parent or spouse, ask another member of the church s pastoral staff to fill out the form. 5 5. Application Deadline - Students are advised to apply as early as possible. The application deadline is September 6, Application Review - Your application is submitted for review when we have received all necessary documents: completed application, current "passport style" photo, $25 application fee, recommendation form. after this information has been received, an interview may be scheduled. 7. Deposit - Within 10 days of receiving your acceptance letter you are required to submit a non-refundable/non-transferable $ deposit. This deposit is our assurance that you will be attending the school. Your deposit will be applied towards your tuition fees. 8. Tuition - $895 which covers all books and student materials. We do not offer an e-book option. Payment plan options are as follows: Payment Plan A: Start now! Pay monthly towards your school fees now instead of waiting until September. The school directors will discuss a payment plan that can work for you. Please circle Payment Plan A on the last page of your application where indicated and you will be contacted once your application has been approved. Note: this payment plan should NOT be chosen if applying near or on the September 6, 2016 deadline. Plan B would be your only payment option. Payment Plan B: After submitting your $100 deposit, an additional $400 is due by the first day of school (September 15). You will then pay $50/month due by the 1st of each month starting in October and ending in April. The last payment in May will be $45. 5
