3 Salvation is NOT what you think it is Many people tell you that they are saved if you ask them. They will proudly tell you that they will be going to Heaven when they died because they confessed Christ as their Lord and Saviour when they went to an altar call. Unfortunately, there is MORE to being saved that is NOT being taught or even talked about. In this book, we will explore the act of being saved and what salvation is all about. Let s first define what salvation is. Salvation is: noun 1. the act of saving or protecting from harm, risk, loss, destruction, etc. 2. the state of being saved or protected from harm, risk, etc. 3. a source, cause, or means of being saved or protected from harm, risk, etc. 4. Theology. deliverance from the power and penalty of sin; redemption. So, let s agree that salvation is the state of being saved or protected from harm, risk, etc. and deliverance from the power and penalty of sin; redemption. So what are we being redeemed from? The Lord Jesus Christ is saving those who will be saved from the penalty of sin. Jesus Himself bled and died on the cross so He is a propitiation for us. Let s define propitiation: 1. to overcome the distrust or hostility of; placate; win over: 2. to win or gain (goodwill, regard, or favor). 3. to make compatible; reconcile. In other words, Christian, The Lord Jesus Christ died so He could make compatible or reconcile all of us with His Father, who is angry with the sinner all the day long. As the mediator between humankind, the Lord of Hosts, through Jesus, will recognize a human as His son or daughter, as humankind is reconciled or made compatible with the Lord of Hosts. This is the essence of salvation. Now we can freely talk with the Lord of Hosts as a Father, and He will receive us as His children. Here is where humans complicate things Churches today have what is commonly called and alter call, where those who come to the altar confess their allegiance to the Lord Jesus Christ through what is commonly called a sinner s prayer. In this confession, the person gives their life to the Lord Jesus Christ to be their Lord and Saviour. Many people think that after the prayer is over, that person is saved. NO. That person has just begun the journey!! IF they endure to the end, they will be saved. 2

4 Check out the scripture: What? Matthew 10:22 - And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved. What does this really mean? The church told you that if you confess your sins and repent, and confess The Lord Jesus Christ as your saviour, then you are saved. Is this not true? NO, Christian, it is NOT. You have to endure to the END to be saved. Is this not what the Lord just told us? So the question is this endure though WHAT to be saved? The Lord tells us in these scriptures: Luke 9:23 - And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. Wait a minute. What is this take up the cross DAILY stuff? Philippians 2:12 - Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. Work out our salvation? I thought that salvation is a free gift that is given with no strings attached! NO. YOU Have to DO SOMETHING to retain that salvation, and that means YOU have to not only acknowledge what Jesus is telling you, but you are to FOLLOW Him and obey his commandments. This will show Him that you truly love him, as the scripture bear this out: John 14:15 - If ye love me, keep my commandments. John 14:21 - He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. John 15:10 - If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. That s right, Christian, you have to OBEY The Lord Jesus Christ and keep His commandments. YOU. Let s take a little deeper look into what Jesus really said and why what you have been told is not totally true. You will soon see that you have not gotten the whole story when you confessed your sins. 3

5 Jesus talked about His Kingdom a lot when He was on the earth As you already know, Jesus is a King. He is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords (Revelation 17:14, Revelation 19:16), as well as being the Lamb of God, and the Lion of Judah. When Jesus taught, He taught to his Disciples who helped Him and learned from Him when He was on the earth. So what is a disciple? Let s see what the definition of a disciple is: noun 1. any follower of Christ. 2. (initial capital letter) a member of the Disciples of Christ. 3. a person who is a pupil or an adherent of the doctrines of another; follower: Let s agree that option #3 accurately describes what a disciple is. When Jesus sent His disciples into the world, what was His command? Let s see what the scripture says: Matthew 28: Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Here is the same scripture in the NKJV: Matthew 28: Go therefore[fn] and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen.[fn] The point I am trying to make is that the Lord commanded the disciples to teach and make more Disciples of Christ. In the KJV, notice that the scripture says to teach all nations, while the NKJV says to make disciples of all the nations; I will concede that the NKJV scripture is much clearer. To argue the point, a teacher teaches to students, is this not true? A student is a learner from the teacher, so if this is the command that the Lord Jesus Christ is making, we should at least be students of Jesus and the gospel. I am going somewhere with this, Christian. So, let s agree that Jesus is a teacher, and the people whom He taught were His students. What do students do? They study; they ask questions; they learn the subject matter that is being taught. Also, more importantly, the student KNOWS his teacher, and will follow the teacher. Consider this scripture: Matthew 4:19 - And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. Matthew 8:22 - But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead. Matthew 9:9 - And as Jesus passed forth from thence, he saw a man, named Matthew, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he saith unto him, Follow me. And he arose, and followed him. 4

6 Matthew 16:24 - Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. Matthew 19:21 - Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me. Mark 2:14 - And as he passed by, he saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting at the receipt of custom, and said unto him, Follow me. And he arose and followed him. Mark 8:34 - And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. Mark 10:21 - Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me. Luke 5:27 - And after these things he went forth, and saw a publican, named Levi, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he said unto him, Follow me. Luke 9:23 - And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. Luke 18:22 - Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me. John 1:43 - The day following Jesus would go forth into Galilee, and findeth Philip, and saith unto him, Follow me. You can see that you have to DO SOMETHING to learn from the teacher in all of these scriptures, Christian. Notice that in all of these scriptures, the Lord Jesus Christ commanded that the people who wanted to learn from Him had to follow Him? I know this is not what you learned in Church, Christian. Pay close attention to these scriptures: John 10:27 - My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: John 12:26 - If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour. Notice that as students of Christ, we are to serve Him. Yes, Christian, you become a servant of the Lord of Lords and King of Kings. I bet they did not tell you THAT when you went and made your altar call. I am purposefully did NOT using the word disciple because I want to make it clear, Christian. As a student, you are to follow your teacher. You will do as He says; you will go where He tells you to go; you will learn what He wants you to learn. You will serve Him because He is your Lord and Saviour. Let that sink in, Christian. 5

7 Being a servant is one of the highest honours in The Lord s Kingdom When you made your confession, you were encouraged to join the church and to start your service in the CHURCH. That is NOT what the Lord Jesus Christ told you to do. He says it all here: Mark 9:35 - And he sat down, and called the twelve, and saith unto them, If any man desire to be first, the same shall be last of all, and servant of all. Here it is again in the NKJV: Mark 9:35 - And He sat down, called the twelve, and said to them, If anyone desires to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all. The Lord Jesus Christ demonstrated this fact, Christian, by not only humbling Himself down to be lower than dirt (you do remember that we are made from the dust of the ground, right? See Genesis 2:7 to get your confirmation), serving all of us by dying on the cross, and you can now see that because of His sacrifice and service to all, The Lord of Hosts, His Father, has made Jesus Lord of all things, as shown in scripture: Matthew 28:18 - And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Look again in the NKJV and see this accentuated: Matthew 28:18 - And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. As a servant, the Lord of Hosts has exalted the Lord Jesus Christ and granted Him ALL authority in heaven and in the earth!! So what does this have to do with salvation? We have not been taught what Jesus said or expects of us, Christian. In most churches, all they have you say is a prayer confessing your sins and saying that Jesus Christ is your Lord. Many people say this, think they are saved, and go on about their business. NO. That is incorrect. We are to follow the Lord Jesus Christ as He has commanded, since He does have ALL authority over the heaven and earth. Many people say the prayer, and go on with life as usual. They do not consult with the Lord Jesus Christ; they do not talk with the Lord Jesus Christ; they ignore the Lord Jesus Christ and do whatever they want to do, thinking that they will get to heaven when they die because they confessed. Think about that for a minute, Christian. The Lord Jesus Christ has ALL authority over heaven and the earth, so He is the gatekeeper that will keep sinners OUT. Jesus and His Father, the Lord of Hosts, make it clear that they have to KNOW you before you enter into the Kingdom. 6

8 What? What do you mean know? I meant what I said, Christian. The Lord Jesus Christ wants to have a relationship with YOU. He wants you to talk to Him, learn from Him, and obey Him, as He does have all authority over heaven and the earth. You are NOT going to make it into Heaven with just a sinner s prayer, as the churches have told you. They are mistaken, and they are misleading many. The only way to get to Heaven is to KNOW the person who is at the door. You have to KNOW Jesus personally, Christian, and He has to know you. Here is an example Let s use Katy Perry as an example. Let s say you see Katy at a concert. After the concert, you step up to Katy and say that you know her and you want to party with her after the concert. You have never met Katy Perry personally; you know about her, but you don t know her personally and she does not know you. If you step up to Katy Perry and she does not know you personally, like her family or close friends, you will find a burly security guy who will show you the door expeditiously with extreme prejudice. You can understand that, correct? Since Katy does not know who you are, you could be anybody a rapist, an axe murderer or just plain crazy. Katy is NOT going to let you into her personal space if you are not known and trusted. Now, I know you can see what Katy is doing, and most of you would say that s right, that guy or gal could be a danger to her. She needs to be protected to keep the crazy away. Now, let s look at Jesus in the same way. Many people are going to want to be Jesus bestest friend when they die, Christian. This is when the Lord Jesus Christ will tell them Go away, I never knew you. Why? They never spent time with Jesus. They never talked to Him, cried with Him, supped with Him or went through trials and tribulations with Him. They just knew OF Him, but they did not really know Him. Just like the fan who knew of Katy Perry and was escorted away from her because she didn t know them, it will be the same of those who only knew OF Jesus. They will be escorted away by a huge angel and cast into the fire to be burned. Understand that Jesus home is in Heaven with His Father, the Lord of Hosts. Would you allow a stranger that you do not know into your house to live with you? Well, Would you, Christian? Like anyone, Jesus is ONLY going to let in those people He knows intimately, or, better stated, familiar or having a close personal relation. 7

9 Previously, when Adam and Eve sinned and fell, the Lord of Hosts kicked both Adam and Eve out of the Garden of Eden, and placed Cherubim and flaming swords that prevented them from returning to the garden. Check out what the scripture says: Genesis 3:24 - So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life. Not one, but multiple Cherubim angels and a flaming sword to keep Adam and Eve out of the Garden of Eden. Looks to me that the Lord was serious about keeping sin away from Him. Jesus is the gatekeeper of heaven Can you now see why it is important to have an intimate relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ? Scripture tells us this fact: John 14:6 - Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. The operative phrase is this NO MAN. Jesus is going to weed out those who are faking and not serious and He is not going to let into Heaven anyone who carries sin they have not repented of. It is terrifying to be in the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ and be judged by Him. If you are numbered and found lacking in Jesus judgment, you are NOT going to make it. If you are not the right life type (not born again), you will not make it. If you are not filled with the Holy Ghost, you will NOT make it. If you are still in or practicing sin, you are NOT going to make it. If you have mutilated your body and did not get Jesus to cover that mutilation with His blood, you are NOT going to make it. This includes piercings and tattoos. If Jesus does not know you, you are NOT going to make it. If you are homosexual, you are NOT going to make it. If you are a lesbian, you are NOT going to make it. If you are a liar, you are NOT going to make it, If you are a thief, you are NOT going to make it. If you will not forgive, you are NOT going to make it. If you will NOT listen to Jesus commandments and obey them, you will NOT make it. If you are transgender, you are NOT going to make it. If you have oral sex, you are NOT going to make it. If you have anal sex, you are NOT going to make it. If you read and use the zodiac to guide you, you are NOT going to make it. If you practice yoga, you are NOT going to make it. If you are unclean or do unclean things, you are NOT going to make it. If you are afraid, you are NOT going to make it. Study all of the behaviours in Revelation 21:8 and 2 Timothy 3:1-5, Christian. People who exhibit these behaviours will NOT make it into the Kingdom of God. 8

10 Let s put this all together So, salvation can be summed up as follows: Salvation is the state of being saved or protected from harm, risk, etc. and delivered from the power and penalty of sin; redemption. The Lord Jesus Christ died so He could reconciliate you with His Father, who is angry with the sinner all the day long. Jesus, As the mediator between humankind and His Father, the Lord of Hosts, will recognize a human as His son or daughter, as humankind is reconciled with the Lord of Hosts. We can freely talk with the Lord of Hosts as a Father, and He will receive us as His children. You will need to deny yourself, and take up your cross daily and follow the Lord Jesus Christ, working out your own salvation with fear and trembling. If you love Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, you will keep His commandments; He knows them that follow Him. As students/disciples of Christ, we are to serve Him and follow Him as your teacher. You will do as Jesus says; you will go where Jesus tells you to go; you will learn what Jesus wants you to learn. You will serve Jesus because He is your Lord and Saviour. Through salvation, The Lord Jesus Christ wants to have a relationship with YOU. He wants you to talk to Him, learn from Him, and obey Him, as He does have all authority over heaven and the earth. Now, does that sound like you say a prayer and then go on and do what you want? When you give your life to Jesus, He becomes your Lord. He owns you because He paid for you, and you can never repay Him for what He did for you. He expects you to follow Him; He expects you to obey Him. He expects you to talk to Him and have a relationship with Him so you are a part of the family. Think of it this way, Christian When you are out in the world, you are on an AM frequency. You recognize that if you want to go to the FM frequency, you have to CHANGE to that frequency. That is what the picking up your cross daily stuff is all about. You are to CHANGE to what the Lord Jesus Christ wants for you. You have to work out your salvation with fear and trembling because you are dealing with the Lord of the Universe who is awesome. That means you sit at His feet and learn from Him, and learning means being quiet and ingesting the wisdom that the Lord will give to you and CHANGING yourself to be like your Lord. If you continue to change yourself, and endure the teaching and training to the end, THEN and only THEN you will be saved. That is the truth of salvation that is explained. 9

11 So what must you do to be saved? Let s go through the things that YOU must do so you will be saved. They are: You must confess your sins and proclaim the Lord Jesus Christ your Lord and Saviour. This would be your sinner s prayer and/or altar call. This is your public expression that you are accepting Jesus Christ to be the governor of your life. If you have already done this, that is good. You must give Jesus FULL governance over your life. This means you deny yourself and do as Jesus has asked of you. This will mean you will need to CHANGE how you live so you are living as Jesus wants you to live. You will let Jesus decide what is best for you, and you will go along with it. Do NOT make the mistake of taking the reins of your life away from Jesus and try to do things on your own; let Jesus tell you and guide you to where He wants you to be. You will give your body as a living sacrifice To the Lord Jesus Christ so the Lord Jesus Christ can do what He wants with you, as He has paid for you with His blood. You must yield to what He says to do, and if you turn away from Him, you risk being separated eternally from Him forever. You must repent of your sins and CHANGE as Jesus has commanded you to. This means you are to constantly talk to Jesus and ask Him to point out your sins so you can confess them and repent of them. He may ask you to go and ask for forgiveness from people if it is necessary. Keep asking Jesus to point out your sins so you can get your repentance from them once and for all. You must get to know Jesus and establish a relationship with Him by talking to Him and obeying His commandments. Jesus has said that those who obey His commandments He will know. You can always ask Jesus about the problems you are having, or any difficulties that you are experiencing. He will respond and He will begin to teach you what you need to know as you continue to walk with Him. You must ask Jesus for the Holy Ghost so you will be able to be led by the Spirit of Truth into all truth and to be obedient to Him. Keep asking until He sends the Holy Ghost to you to teach you and live within you. Once He sends the Holy Ghost to be with you, teach you, and live within you, you will be obedient and do as the Holy Ghost tells you. Understand that the Holy Ghost will NOT strive with you, and He will leave you if you grieve Him, and then you will have an angry Jesus to deal with. You do NOT want to deal with an angry Jesus. You must pick up your cross daily and follow Jesus, which means you are to CHANGE and repent of the things He points out to you that are not pleasing to Him. That means you will acquiesce or agree - and turn when Jesus tells you to turn; you will go as Jesus tells you to go. You will walk with Him as He tells you to and do as He has asked you to do. You will do this every day of your life as long as you have been accepted as Jesus disciple. You 10

12 will endure hardship, and you will be rejected by many around you, especially family. Through all of that, you will do as Jesus asks of you and remain obedient to Him. If you stumble or fall, Jesus is faithful to help you up, correct you, equip you, and then send you back into the fight against the devil with His blessing. You must work out your salvation with fear and trembling, which means you must do what Jesus asks of you. That also means that you walk as Jesus wants you to walk and not as YOU want to walk. Jesus will deal with the things in you that displease Him and help you overcome those things if you remain faithful to Him. This is the intimate relationship that Jesus covets, Christian. As you are cleaned up by Him, and go through trials and tribulations with Him, you will get to know Him in an intimate way. The fear and trembling comes into play when you recognize that Jesus can snap His fingers and you will cease to exist whenever He wants to. Jesus is portrayed as a girly-man and a wimp by the devil in the world, but did you know that even the devil must obey Jesus? Jesus is the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings, and one word from Him will change everything. You must endure through this until you die, which is the end. Better stated, this walk with Jesus is a marathon, and if you run your race to the end and do not waver or walk away from Jesus, then and only then you will be saved. When you die, you will be held accountable for every word you have said, every sin you have done, every lie you have told. The Lord Jesus Christ will then go through the books to judge your life. He is going to see if you were obedient or not; He is going to judge your faults and failures and He is going to reward your obedience to Him and the Holy Ghost. He is going to see if there is any sin on you and judge that as well. Most of all, Jesus is going to see if He KNOWS you, as you will NOT get into Heaven, which is His home, if He does not KNOW you. These will be many that will scoff at what you have just read, Christian. This is NOT what they are teaching in the churches, and many people are going to hell daily because of it. Many are dying right now, and are shocked when they are sent to hell when they KNEW they were saved. As you can see, it is NOT enough to just confess with your mouth; you have to follow up with action, obedience and learn how to serve the Lord Jesus Christ as He wills. Don t be like them, Christian. There are many churches out there that have soul winning marathons and they measure their metric on how many people made the confession only. The people who made the confession are then invited to go to the church, but they do not know about the intimate relationship that Jesus covets with them, as this is NOT taught. Take what you have read and go ask The Lord Jesus Christ yourself to see if what you have read is true and right. What could it hurt to ask? 11

13 You will see quickly that the scripture that stated that broad is the road to destruction is absolutely true. Here is the scripture for you to meditate upon: Matthew 7: Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Restated in the NKJV: Matthew 7: Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. Always Remember this, Christian Always remember that Heaven is Jesus home, and that is where HE lives. Jesus wants those who love Him to live with Him forever, and He has prepared a place for each and every one of the people whom He knows and accepts into His home, as show in the following scripture: John 14:2-3 - In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. This is a promise from the Lord Jesus Christ to you, Christian, IF you endure to the end. That is the deal with salvation, Christian, and you cannot get a better deal than that. Take what you have learned here today and go to Jesus directly and ask Him if what is shown here is true. Use this as a means to start a conversation with The Lord Jesus Christ and sit with Him and ask Him questions. Start with (asking out loud): Jesus, is what I just read true? He will answer you, Christian, and NOW you are on the true road to salvation. Keep talking with Him. Get to know Him and He will start to reveal Himself to you. 12

14 Get into the FIGHT After you have gotten right with the Lord and secured your household, you can continue your service to the Lord by getting into the fight. You already have experience casting out devils, and standing up to Jezebel; you are fiercely defending your household against all threats and you have overcome them. Your household is in order; you family is in order; there is peace in your household, and all defiling elements have been dealt with for now. So what do you do? Stay in the fight!! You have already made a reputation for yourself and the demons will leave you alone because you have stood up to them! I ll give you an example of a household that has fought this fight. The Granger household consists of a husband and a wife with no children (yet). The husband has battled with Jezebel, who manifested in his wife, and after a few battles, Jezebel is leaving the husband and the wife alone. Although Jezebel grumbles that the husband is too smug for her tastes, and she wants to cut off his balls and stuff them down his throat, she is all talk because she has no stomach to fight this man anymore for his household. THAT is where you want to be, Christian. The husband has had to teach his wife about casting out demons and how to defend herself against attacks by using her Recompensatory prayers, which she has used to beat off the offenders. The wife, now emboldened because she has seen her husband deal with the demons that plagued her, was afraid at first; now, she is, in her own words, folding the demons like a cheap suit and stuffing them into a trash can. The wife overcame ALL fear of the demons that have plagued her since she was a child and now she is exerting HER authority as a member of a household that is in order and a marriage that is in order. You see, when there is order, there is POWER, and the devil and his cohorts only recognize power. Do they have more power than you? You have an advocate in Jesus, as He will grant you the power and authority you need to continue the fight. Do what he tells you to do, and He will grant you the power you need plus more, if He feels you are worthy of it. You do not have to be a preacher, or an apostle, or a bishop to continue the fight against the devil. You can take on roles that are important that you can comfortably do. As always, take this to the Lord and ask Him directly what you can do for Him. 13

15 Become a martyr Another type of person who plays a role in the fight is one of a martyr. So what is a martyr? A martyr is defined as: 1. a person who willingly suffers death rather than renounce his or her religion. 2. a person who is put to death or endures great suffering on behalf of any belief, principle, or cause: 3. a person who undergoes severe or constant suffering: In the Bible, a martyr is defined as a witness. You may say that a martyr is one that will give up his/her life for others willingly even if they get killed in the process. I would say that a martyr is akin to the Marines, as they storm the beaches and assault the enemy. The martyr corps will be the ones that will go back into the cities to rescue trapped saints of God when the devil cuts off all means of being able to escape when things collapse. The martyrs are the ones that will assault the devil face to face, using weapons they have been specially trained to use. The martyrs know the score when they volunteer, and they are aware that every mission that they are sent on may be their last mission. They know that they can get killed at any time, and are willing to go where others are afraid to tread. In the bible, most martyrs are killed by the enemy, but not before the martyrs inflict heavy damage to the devil s forces. The first martyr we read about is Stephen, and an account of his martyrdom is found in Acts Chapters 6 and 7. You can read about him in your own study time. Notice how Jesus not only let Stephen get killed, as he was after Saul, who recorded this in Acts 22:20, but Stephen was a man who had great power and was full of the Holy Ghost (Acts 6:8). What did Stephen do that caused him to be brought up on charges that cost him his life? He proclaimed the gospel, healed the sick and cast out devils as Jesus has asked all of his disciples to do. This is what I meant by being on the front lines. Stephen was unafraid to go and do the work that Jesus had for his disciples which was to confront the devil and use extreme prejudice to get those who the Lord wants out from the enslavement of the devil with POWER. He went into the belly of the beast unafraid and alone, and look what it took to bring him down. I personally like Stephen and what he did. Stephen is the prototype of what a martyr will and can do. If Stephen alone did such a good job that the devil had to kill him, what do you think a whole corps of martyrs will do? The devil so despised Stephen, he had him arrested on trumped up charges. During the trial, Stephen was so full of the Holy Ghost, that he actually glowed (Acts 6:15). I don t know about you, but THAT is the way I want to go when my time is up. Never mind the cowering bit; I want to step up to the devil boldly, stomp his guts out, shake the dust off my feet and then stomp his guts out again, just for good measure. 14

16 If you were ever in the military, and you have gone through the training, you would be a good fit for this job (even if you did not serve in the military, the Lord could use you if you ask Him). Not only will you get to fight the enemy face to face, hand to hand, up close and personal, you have a commander in Chief that is The Lord of Lords and King of Kings, and he does NOT forget the things that His Martyr corps does, unlike the armed services in America or wherever you are from. The martyr corps is the best of the best and full of the Holy Ghost. The devil most fears the martyr corps because of the power they have in Christ. How do I know that the devil fears the martyr corps? It is because the devil does not hesitate to kill them. You can see all throughout the book of Acts and Revelation that the martyrs are the ones that are killed. Why? The devil cannot stand up to the power that they have, so to save himself and his piddly little kingdom, the devil has them killed. The martyrs walk in and destroy the devil s kingdom, nuking everything and laying it to waste. The devil cannot stop them using his usual trickery, so he has them killed, usually by confederates who are religious. In Revelations, you can see that the Harlot drinks the blood of the saints and the martyrs (Revelation 17:6). Why did the Lord make a distinction between the saints and the martyrs? It looks to me like the martyrs were more of a threat, as they normally destroy everything in sight that is demonic. Notice it is the Harlot, or the religious church, that is killing these people. We saw that in Stephen s time, and we will see it again during the end times. Not everyone is cut out to be a martyr, but you can always ask Jesus to put you in His martyr corps or wherever He feels you would fit the best. If you like impossible missions against impossible odds, this is the place for you. As I said before, to all of the people who were in the military that were sent to hellholes like Afghanistan and Iraq, this is the place for you. Get on your knees and ask and beg the Lord Jesus to clean you up for service. Ask him to train you in all of the weapons that are available to the martyr corps so you will be productive. Ask Jesus to clean you up so you are off of all of the chems that the armed services give their members who are not useful to them anymore until they are discharged. If you do this, your PTSD will subside; you will also be able to get the blood of those you killed in the name of the military off of your hands so you will have peace. You can then get your payback against the devil who was using you to bring over his hordes of demons to this realm using the death or sacrifice(s) of those you killed for the military, who care nothing about you. Look at the VA and then tell me I am wrong. The people you were fighting for has the military protect their pipelines and poppy fields so they can enslave more people with their drugs, and then they give you a medal for your service, even if you got hurt or injured during your service. This is a DIRTY deal that many have taken because that is the only deal they can get. If you are going to fight, fight for a TRUE cause and kingdom. Ask Jesus to allow you into His corps. 15
