1 The Chancel Choir has begun rehearsing An Invitation to a Miracle, by Joseph Martin. The cantata is open to anyone in the community who enjoys singing the spectacular songs of the season You do not have to be a member of the Chancel Choir to participate in this gorgeous Christmas cantata. If you know of others who would like to join this singing group, please give me their name and number and I would be happy to contact them. Everyone is welcome! Do you make crafts or other handmade items? Sign up! Could your church group use a fundraiser for your projects? Sign up! There are registration forms available and online registration can be made at Registrations need to be made by November 4th. A Holy Trinity Lutheran booth will be set up with proceeds going to the Salvation Army. If you d like to donate handmade items or baked goods to this booth, please see Margo Poore or Gina Jones. Many volunteers will be needed for this event to be made a success. Contact an Evangelism team member about how you can help. Reformation Sunday is Sunday, October 30th! October 31st, 1517, was one of the turning-points in the history of the world. On that day Martin Luther nailed his 95 Theses to the door of the Wittenburg Church, and with that deed the Protestant Reformation was born. Please join us for this special service to reflect and recognize the importance of this day. 8 8 Prayer of the Day P Holy God, our righteous judge, daily your mercy surprises us with everlasting forgiveness. Strengthen our hope in you, and grant that all the peoples of the earth may find their glory in you, through Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. The congregation may be seated.
