3 NEWS, EVENTS & NOTICES COFFEE MORNING The Pastoral Care team would like to invite the over 60s to a monthly Coffee Morning which will be held in the Church Centre Coffee Bar. It will commence on Monday 4 September and will continue on the first Monday of every month from 10.30am - 12 noon. This is a new venture being launched by the Pastoral Care Team and we would love you to drop in for tea/coffee and a chat. It will be an opportunity to build community and develop relationships. Please invite your neighbours, friends and relatives - all will be made most welcome! THE PRAYER LIST will be available from next Sunday 10 September. Get in community! At Carnmoney we re eager to help everyone become disciples of Jesus Christ. This cannot happen alone so we d love you to come along to the launch night of our Discipleship Communities. These groups meet fortnightly in homes for food, teaching, prayer, worship and to help members share their faith in all areas of life. At the launch night you can meet those already in a group find out more about what they do and sign up for one this year. There ll be Maud s Ice Cream for everyone! COFFEE MORNING Please note change of date June Crockett s home, 4 Ravelston Crescent, on Saturday 28 October. All proceeds in aid of NI Hospice.
4 NEWS, EVENTS & NOTICES GIRLS BRIGADE GB are having a registration night for parents wishing to enrol their children for 2017/18 session on Tuesday 5 September. Please call to the halls anytime between 6.30pm-7.30pm. GB will resume for the girls on Tuesday 12 September (normal times) Look forward to seeing you then. Claire Child TOTS & CO At Carnmoney Tots & Co we aim to provide a relaxing atmosphere within a safe environment where parents, carers and their children can play and socialise alongside each other. Commencing Wednesday 13 September in the Sports Hall form 10.30am noon for newborn infants to pre-school children. If you require further information please contact Jean Pillar on or jean.pillar@carnmoney.org BOYS BRIGADE COMPANY SECTION starts back on Thursday 7 September with a no uniform games night, pm. Open to all young men year 8 and above - bring your mates along- no previous BB experience necessary!!! THE ANCHOR BOYS SECTION of the Boys Brigade will restart on Thursday 7 September at 7pm for registration only. Current members will be receiving the forms in the post shortly so it would help if these were completed and brought up that night, along with the joining fee. For new members, forms will be available on the 7th. Anchor Boys is for boys in Primary 2,3 and 4. We look forward to seeing you then. BOYS BRIGADE PRE ANCHOR BOYS SECTION starts on Thursday 14 September, 6-7pm. All boys starting P1 and who will be 4 before the end of June 2018 (i.e. going into P1 next September) welcome! HTB PARENTING COURSE 0-10 YEARS / YEARS Limited spaces 0-10 years/ spaces available years PARENTING CHILDREN COURSE The Parenting Children Course will be held in Carnmoney Church Centre commencing Monday 25 September and every Monday until 23 October from 7.15pm pm. The Course is for any parent or carer of children, whether they consider themselves to have strong parenting skills or are struggling. The practical tools of the Course are applicable to everyone who has responsibility for a child or children from birth up to the age of 18 years. This is a free course and will be hosted by the Pastoral Care Team. Due to limited places would you please contact Jean Pillar or Gillian White to reserve a place. COMMISSIONING SERVICE FOR ROSS MUNRO Ross is the Evangelism Associate in Lowe Memorial and his Commissioning Service will be on Sunday 10 September at 7.00pm In Lowe Memorial. Everyone welcome.
