Aarti Nimkar Rotary News Rotary President Selected Sushil Kumar Gupta of the Rotary club of Delhi Indiais the selection of Nominating Committee for Pesident of Rotary International. Gupta has been a Rorarian since 1977 and has served Rotary district Governor, training leader, resource group adviser etc. and the list is more with him as a Chair of several other committees. He is also the coveted Padmashri Awardee. Gupta in his year as an RI President wants to increase Rotary s humanitarian impact as well as the diversity of its membership with 1.2 million Rotarians as he said when millions of Rotarians work together, there is no limit to what we can achieve and in the process, we can truly change the world. 2 03 Our clubs Updates RCBC family would like to congratulate Annet Manaal Parikh and proud parents on securing an admission at BITS in PILANI campus in a dual degree program. Once again congratulations to Manaal and proud parents. We, RCBC have a young writer Rishi Shah with us who has begun with his journey as a writer with his maiden book Fashion the Garden. I am sure it is going to be a great handbook for gardening with all the related information. Our best wishes to Rishi and congratulations to the family. RCBC ans best wishes to Annet Rishi Shah and Annet Akshath Bhalla for a successful IYE year ahead.

3 02 LIFE LESSONS Being A Father To My Father... After Retirement father gives away all his assets and responsibilities to his son, saying that now I am also your responsibility my son. After a few days, when father came home late without informing, son got angry with him,hiding his worries for him and said now if you don't come on time I will not speak to you. To this scolding from his son,father smiled and said now I feel like a Winner. This is a short story about father and son relation,speaking thousands of words. We can see values imbibed in them, love, care, anger, sense of responsibility, expectation, emotions and so on. This is a consummate example of every parents expectation and confidence on their children. Parents are the one who have helped us to become better human beings and not just towards the end of their lives but throughout we must respect them. This is one of ways you give Gratitude to your parents.

4 02 HEALTH AT ITS BEST Friends to be truly healthy and happy we need to find a balance between our exercise, social life, family life, work, friends, and last and important is nutrition. Our Health is a reflection of all these factors. Now a days every second person is dieting. Basically dieting is nothing but eating balance food. Its about quality and the quantity. Healthy eating habits. are very important. Don t stop eating but start eating what is beneficial to your health. Here are some point which I would like to share, are : THE JOINT INSTALLATION CEREMONY - Eat when you are hungry but do not overeat. - Eat seasonal fruits and vegetables in ample. - Avoid eating oily gravies. - Include nuts,seeds and dry fruits in your diet as a pre workout food. - Drink plenty of water and other fluids like coconut water, nimbu pani, green tea etc. - Keep your plate size and food portion small. Will share about pre workout food in the next issue, till then take good care of yourself.
