Cecilia in Trastevere, to see the family chapel of S. Francesca Romana, and the Last Judgement frescoes in the adjoining convent by Pietro Cavallini. 11:15 We walk over to the Aventine Hill to see the early Christian church of S. Sabina. There we will talk about the lives of Sabina and her slave Serapia, Marcella and the consecrated widows and virgins of Rome, including Paola and Eustochium and others. We will also visit the chapel of S. Dr Lucy Morris Choices for life and relationships Career pathways, talent spotting, merit-based promotion and education Obedience and anarchy, social and cultural Thursday Morning 9.15 am We will visit the church of S. Agostino and the tomb of Augustine s mother Monica, as well as view the paintings by pm Raphael and Caravaggio. We will then visit the house of Catherine of Siena, followed by the church of S. Maria sopra Minerva, with Catherine s set of rooms and her tomb. There is also the chapel of Thomas Aquinas with frescoes by Filippino Lippi, the tomb of Fra Angelico, and the statue of Christ by Michelangelo. 1 pm Lunch nearby and free time Thursday Afternoon 3.30 Presentation on the life of Catherine of Siena, visionary, mystic, and diplomat at the Lay Centre, Foyer Unitas 6.00 pm Thursday Evening 8.15 Further Reflection on the Life of Catherine of Siena and women s leadership led by Rev.
