1 Renew My Church Parishioner Survey Ascension (Oak Park) This data answers the question, "Where else are my parishioners going to Mass on Sunday?" It is helpful to know where else people are going as we look to a future of collaboration. Common mass-goers could also indicate some level of parish affinity, at least among a portion of the parishioner base. This report has four main sections. The first section shows the summary results of the number and percent of your survey respondents who attend Mass elsewhere. The second section shows the parishes that were mentioned as the other parishes where your parishioners also attend Mass. The "# of times mentioned" column indicates the total number of times that that other parish was mentioned. The "% of mentions" column represents the percent of the time (out of all the parishes mentioned by your survey respondents) that it was mentioned. The third section provides the responses that were written out by respondents when asked where else they go. The last section provides the names of the non-catholic churches that parishioners said they sometimes attend. It is a Benedictine Monastery that is ecumenical. The bishop of Madison is really oppressive, and does not permit the use of wine at Mass, and is fairly vindictive to parish employees who don't toe the line. In the past, I attended services regularly at Calvary Memorial Church in Oak Park, IL, a non-denominational church, which my mom and brother regularly attend. I go there sporadically. I have also gone to Lenten weekday evening prayer services at Christ Lutheran Church in Oak Park, IL. Inter-faith exchanges at mosques and synagogues. Family services at First Community United Church of Christ, Downers Grove.
