Class for Pre-K Grade 5 We usually meet two Sundays a month (2 nd & 4 th Sundays unless otherwise noted) High-School Class: Sunday mornings, 9:45 Adult Education Opportunities to go deeper with John s Gospel: Mid-week Bible Study Wednesdays, 12:30-1:45 pm, Library Sunday School Sundays, 9:50 am, Parlor Von Bora Circle monthly meetings (Sunday afternoon) include a bible study from Gather magazine and fellowship Circle of Ruth monthly meetings (Saturday am) learning/service and fellowship We SERVE COMMUNITY FOOD PANTRIES Donations to the Community Food Pantry at New River Community Action are always welcome. If you drop it into the collection box near the bulletin board we will be sure to deliver it to the food pantry. Remember, too, to supply the Little Free Pantry on 4 th Street (First Presbyterian Church) as you are able. THRIVENT ACTION TEAMS Thrivent Members, this is a good time to be thinking about how we can make full use of our Action Team funds in Also, if you haven t designated your Choice Dollars lately, please be sure to go online soon and do so. Trinity was blessed in 2018 to have received well over $2,500 in Choice Dollars. Thank you! We SHARE FINANCIAL REPORT FOR 2018 The Stewardship and Finance ministries of Trinity wish to thank everyone for faithful giving and expenditures in A full report for 2018 income and expenses will be finalized and presented in the 2018 Annual Report at the February 17 semi-annual congregational meeting. We ended the year with a surplus of $1,100.

7 WOMEN S & MEN S MINISTRY NEWS Circle Meetings in February - Von Bora Sunday, February 17 (note date change!), 4pm - Parlor Circle of Ruth Date to be announced, 10am; Pastor Terrie program leader Pulaski Early Educator Rewards for Credentials (PERC) presentation Circle of Ruth News: We had a wonderful meeting on Jan. 19 with 13 in attendance. Karen Martin, with assistance from Barbara, fed us quite well! We enjoyed piecing together fabric for quilt tops. Our Trinity Piecemakers quilting group average making 3 quilts a month. Over 300,000 quilts were sent overseas by Lutheran World Relief in Thank you, ladies, for your work and ministry! TAKING A LOOK AT 2019 Key Events Planned Bold Women s Sunday - February 23; wear your WELCA blue scarf and lotus flower logo necklace. We will recognize several women who have made significant contributions over the years. Spring Clean Date Saturday, April 6, 9:00 am; breakfast and work day Spring Banquet Sunday, May 5, 5:00 pm; Report on Israel trip by Lavelva Stevens and Barbara Tuck VSWO Convention August 2-3, Norfolk; prayerfully considering serving as a delegate Summer Picnic (WELCA & Men in Mission) Monday, August 12, 6:00 pm at Heritage Park Business Meeting Sunday, October 13, 7:00 pm Christmas Program Sunday, December 8, 6:00 pm Our February meeting will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 19 for supper and fellowship, 6:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall. On March 5, we will host the Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper at 6:30pm. Please plan to help us cook, beginning at 5:15pm. Spring Clean Date is Saturday, April 6, 9:00 am.
