1 June 2010 Dear Friend, Of all the things Adam lost to the sin nature, the most devastating was the ability to love as God loves. It was not until I understood God with my new nature that I was able to understand the love He has for people in particular, the worth and esteem He holds for every soul. This new nature is the most powerful teaching tool the Holy Spirit possesses to help us understand the things of God, such as love, faith, and grace. Of all the things the Holy Spirit is ordained to teach us, at the top of the list is the vast reserves of God s faith and love that are just waiting to be tapped into by those who want it. As a result, history is full of the exploits of men and women who have been taught by the Holy Spirit and touched by the love of God. If we ask those who have been down this path before us, they would tell us that this kind of love is what our faith is really looking for. It is usually the very thing our flesh needs to die to that which is wrong. So, is it possible for us to find the path that will lead to an understanding of God s love? Well, we know that Jesus said in John 15:9: As the Father hath loved me, so have I LOVED YOU: continue ye in my love. Therefore, it makes sense for us to ask: Why would Jesus say in God s Word that love is available for us without also making the path to that love just as final and sovereign as the love itself? God is the epitome of order, and in His order, one Member of the Godhead the precious Holy Spirit walks the path with us as our Guide. Meanwhile, another Member, the Lamb of God Jesus Christ, the Son of God has provided the love that awaits us on the path. In other words, once you get on the path, nothing has the power to stop you from experiencing God s love. The path is as sovereignly ordained to deliver you to that love as Jesus was sovereignly ordained to provide it. In fact, the Holy Spirit s commission is to guide you into all truth. Jesus said so in John 16:13,14, when He promised to send us the Comforter, the Holy Spirit: Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. When Jesus gave us the promise of the Holy Spirit, He also gave us the primary goal of that promise: that the Holy Spirit would guide us into all truth. What an incredible goal that is! The question is, How does the Holy Spirit do this?

2 Despite the seemingly overwhelming evidence to the contrary, HOW DOES THE HOLY SPIRIT GUIDE US INTO ALL TRUTH? In our modern-day society, most all of us who proclaim the Gospel have a Bible. Yet, let s see what happens when we put a hundred ordained ministers from different persuasions in the same room and have them all open to the same chapter let s say Acts, Chapter 2. More than likely, we will hear a hundred variations on what that chapter is all about! The further those ministers get from the basic foundational truths, such as Jesus Christ crucified, the more disagreement you will find among them. One will say that speaking with tongues is not for everyone. Another will say, Yes, it is. Still another will say, It isn t God s will for everyone to be healed, while another will contend, Yes, it is. Yet there is only one Bible and one Holy Spirit ordained to guide believers into all truth! So where does this leave the sheep who are at the mercy of these teachers? Well, think back to that period of time called the Dark Ages. Much of that dark period in Church history was caused by a shortage of believers who knew how to avail themselves of the Spirit of Truth! In spite of all this, is there a way for the Holy Spirit to get involved with our human spirits to guide us into all truth? Thank God, there is! However, we must realize that the path to revelation knowledge is not necessarily automatic by merit of the baptism of the Holy Spirit alone. If that were true, all Spirit-filled preachers would be saying the same things and it is very obvious that they are NOT! Yet, as impossible as it may seem, there must be a way that you can deliberately yield yourself to the Holy Spirit that frees Him ON PURPOSE as your Teacher and Guide to guide you into all truth as often as you want Him to do so. THERE IS A WAY, and it is just as available to you as the air you breathe. Think about it: Why would Jesus sovereignly provide truth for us to walk in, only to then provide a haphazard path for us to walk down full of guesswork and detours as we try to get to the truth? The answer to that question is, HE WOULDN T! In fact, Jesus did the exact opposite! Let me show you how the Holy Spirit is able to assume His role as the Teacher, using all that God has given Him to guide us into all truth. First and foremost, I want to stress this point: Of all the things the Holy Spirit uses to help us reach this goal, God could not have done anything more powerful for us than make us a partaker of His divine nature the moment we were born again and received Jesus as our personal Savior. Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be PARTAKERS OF THE DIVINE NATURE, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 2 Peter 1:4 What makes this divine nature so powerful in your journey toward all truth? Just this: Now that you have become a partaker with God in His divine nature, you -2-

3 are literally able to understand things about Him that would not have been possible to understand had you not been given a nature like His. Here is an illustration to help you understand how important this new nature is to your spiritual walk. In the Millennial Reign, the Bible says that the wolf will lie down with the lamb, just as Isaiah prophesied: The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. Isaiah 11:6 However, right now in our current age, the wolf eats the lamb because their natures are not compatible with each other. The wolf cannot teach the lamb, nor can the lamb teach the wolf. They cannot understand each other s nature. In the same way, we could not understand God s nature until we were translated out of darkness and into the Kingdom of Light the Kingdom of His dear Son where we received a nature like His own. At that moment, we were given a nature that could be taught by Him. Let me expound on this new nature a little bit further with The Parable of the Chicken-Duck. One day someone slipped a duck egg into a hen s nest that was already full of her own eggs. Later when the eggs hatched, the hen found a funny little duckling running around with his little chick brothers and sisters! Raised as a chicken from the very beginning of his young life, the little duckling didn t know he was a duck. But no matter how hard he tried to fit in, he always seemed out of place. The duckling almost starved as he tried to scratch up bugs and peck at the ground the way his brothers and sisters did. Meanwhile, the chicks had fun mocking their brother s funny-looking feet and face. One day, as the brood was feeding near the pond, an overwhelming urge came over the little duckling to jump into the water. And when he did, the most amazing thing happened. He felt so free and alive. He could swim! He could eat! Somehow he knew what to do! Mother Hen ran down to the bank, fussing and squawking as she ordered the little duckling to come out of the water. She cried, Whatever possessed you to jump into the water? You could have DROWNED! The duckling answered, I don t know, Mama. Something inside of me just told me I could swim! As the duckling grew older, he continued to sneak down to the pond to swim every chance he got. One day while he was there, a migrating flock of ducks circled and then landed in the pond. Hi, Duck, one of them said. The duckling answered, I am not a duck. I am a chicken. -3-

4 Chickens can t swim! the ducks all yelled, laughing. Look at your reflection. Look at us. You are not a chicken you re a duck like us! Then the ducks began to teach the duckling many duck things that were not at all like the things Mother Hen had taught him. The duckling was surprised to find out he understood everything they were teaching him. Finally, the ducks said, We want to teach you one more thing. Watch us, Duck, you can fly! All the ducks began to flap their wings and race forward on the surface of the water. As they all lifted off together, the little duckling was right there with the rest of the ducks, crying with happiness as he gained altitude. He understood everything! He was free! He had the nature of a duck, and now he was being taught by ducks about duck things things he could understand with his nature! As the ducks flew higher, the chicken-duck saw his brothers and sisters in the barnyard. He politely excused himself from the flock and said, I ll be right back. The duckling swooped in so low that his brothers and sisters had to roll away to avoid him. He cried out to them, You were wrong! Look at me! I m a duck! I can FLY! I WILL amount to something! Mama, I love you, but I have to go. I understand everything now. There is a place where the ponds don t freeze and snow doesn t cover the ground. It s a land of milk and honey, a land of plenty. I m going to the Promised Land a place called South! See you next year in the spring! The joy that little duckling felt as he flew for the first time reflects the joy you will experience when you begin to grasp the wonder of who you are in Christ! Your natural mind can t even imagine how powerful the Holy Spirit is when He steps into your life as your Teacher and Guide into all truth. He will open up a mighty river that will flow from God s nature to yours, nurturing you and helping you to understand spiritual things. As Jesus said in John 16:14: He [the Holy Spirit] shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. But the question remains: How do we open up that river? Probably the most costly thing Heaven has ever sustained is the freedom of choice. Our right to choose, even the most simple thing, has cost Heaven everything. We live in a dispensation where every one of us has the right to choose or not to choose what we want to believe about God. All He can do is use everything within His power to try to change our minds and convince us of truth, yet the ultimate choice remains ours. This is why Jesus said what He did in John 12:47,48: And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. -4-

5 If you are one of those who hunger for truth (or even if you go along with spiritual things because you re afraid of where you d end up if you didn t serve God), God has provided a way for you to open up a river that will flow from His nature to yours. It is a way that is both incredible and ingenious because it provides Him with a way to get your permission to let Him change you. For the sake of teaching, let s just say that in the eons of times past, there was a divine planning session. At the head of the table was the first Person of the Godhead, the mighty Jehovah, whom we have come to know and love as our Father. At His right hand was the mighty Logos, the second Person of the Godhead, whom we have come to know and love as Jesus, our Redeemer. And at His left hand was the mighty Holy Spirit, whom we have come to know and love as the Spirit of Truth. God the Father looked down the corridors of time and laid out on the table His entire plan for creation. Jesus said, You do the planning, and I will go and create everything that is in Your plan (see Hebrews 1:2). As the Father continued to look down through time, He saw Lucifer s rebellion and the fall of the human race. Jesus said, I will go and redeem them. I will provide a way out for those who want it. I will be born as a Man and will open up a way back out of death. That way every man, woman, and child who chooses Me can be born again, brought out of death and back into Our family. The Holy Spirit said, Jesus, You redeem them, and I will go do the work. I will be the manifested Presence that regenerates their spirits when they go from death to life and are born again. I will regenerate every person who accepts You as their Savior. As God the Father continued to look down through the ages, He said to the Holy Spirit, Even though You have consented to take up Your abode with mankind and live in those who believe, many of them will still teach things about Us that are not true. Many of them will embrace things from which We have already set them free, such as sickness and disease. Many of them will continue to live in fear or serve mammon and the lusts of the flesh. And many more will pray the wrong kinds of prayers that I cannot answer because they tie My hands through their unbelief. But then something happened in that great planning session as the Godhead looked into the future ages of time. The Holy Spirit saw our names come up, and He saw the plan that the Father has for our lives. And the Holy Spirit said to the other two Members of the Godhead, Since We are omniscient all-knowing outside the realm of time I know the plan You have for every person. I ALSO KNOW A WAY THAT IS SO INCREDIBLE, SO INGENIOUS, THAT IT LITERALLY PROVIDES US WITH A WAY TO GET THEIR PERMISSION TO CHANGE THEM. I will bring a prayer language with Me all the way from Heaven, and I will do their praying for them! This, then, is the way to open up that river in you that releases revelation knowledge into your life. When you pray in tongues, one Member of the Godhead is creating the perfect prayer on the inside of you while the other two Members of the Godhead are answering it. It is the perfect prayer because contained within it is the entire plan of God for your life and the understanding of the mysteries of Christ. -5-

6 And as you continue to pray in tongues, you will discover a day-by-day increase in your understanding concerning the mystery of everything that Christ, the Hope of glory, is in you, to you, and through you. For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries. 1 Corinthians 14:2 The moment God begins to answer those mysteries you are praying in the Holy Spirit, Colossians 1:27 goes into effect: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. When the Apostle Paul said, I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all (First Corinthians 14:18), he was giving us a glimpse into his personal prayer life. Paul was responsible for writing at least half the revelation knowledge in the New Testament, and because he so understood the mysteries of Christ, he was able to help clear up the confusion surrounding the operation of the gifts particularly this gift of speaking in tongues. In First Corinthians 14:14, Paul said this: For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful. The tongues Paul was talking about in this verse were the tongues he used in his personal prayer life. When he said, My spirit prayeth, he was making the point that it was actually his own human spirit doing the praying as the Holy Spirit created the supernatural words within Paul s spirit, and then Paul uttered those words out of his mouth. In essence, the Holy Spirit was borrowing Paul s authority as He uttered the perfect prayer out of the mind of God on Paul s behalf, and Paul s human spirit did the praying. This is an incredible and ingenious plan indeed, for it provides God with a means by which He obtains your permission to let Him change you and teach you the mysteries of Christ. Someone might say, But, Brother Roberson, I don t understand what I am praying when I am praying in tongues. You will begin to understand when you are ready just as soon as you finish praying out some aspect of a divine mystery. Perhaps you ll be praying in tongues about God s plan for your life for the next year. Or maybe there is some mystery about healing that you were incorrectly taught. Whatever particular mystery of Christ the Holy Spirit wants to pray through you, the result will be the same just as soon as you finish praying out the mystery before God. It may take an hour, a day, a week, or even longer. But when you finish, an amazing thing will happen. You will begin to understand things regarding that particular mystery that you never understood before. You have provided God with a way that He can literally obtain your permission to change you and to steadily provide you with an inflow of direction and truth. It s His way to open a river in your life that will flow from HIS NATURE TO -6-

7 YOURS, nurturing and providing you with a wealth of information and understanding regarding the mysteries of God. You don t have to be like the one hundred preachers sitting in that room, staring at the second chapter of Acts with confused looks on their faces. There is a way you can yield yourself to the Holy Spirit, your Teacher, and let Him guide you into all truth. God has ordained this way for you because you are part of His family. To whom did God entrust you? Whom did He ordain to be your Teacher and Guide? Was it an angel? NO. Angels were created, but you were born. You are a member of God s family. To whom would you entrust YOUR children? Wouldn t it preferably be to a trusted member of your own family? In the same way, it stands to reason that God would want a trusted Member of the Godhead the SPIRIT OF TRUTH to be the One to whom He entrusted your teaching. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; COMPARING SPIRITUAL THINGS WITH SPIRITUAL. 1 Corinthians 2:12,13 Here is the chicken-duck version of verse 13: Not in a language that chickens teach, but in a language that ducks teach by comparing duck things to ducks. We have been made partakers of God s divine nature, and we have been given the Holy Spirit to teach us nature to nature, Spirit to spirit about the things of God. We can know and love Him, and we are capable of becoming like Him. All we have to do is yield to our Teacher and let the river flow! Your friend and co-laborer, Dave Roberson

For even though these fastings have everything to do with the mortification of the flesh to where it does not rule over you, but you rule over it it doesn t tell you what you will do; you tell it what you will do. And when you make choices then to spend your time in the spirit, this is where you benefit, because what used to stop you cannot stop you anymore. For if you will allow Me, I will change you from glory to glory; if you will allow Me, I will change you from glory to glory, and for what most are looking for, and in the past, this was left out [that] is, those steps into the fullness of My love. For this is what most are looking for and do not know it because love never, never fails. PT100228A Feb 28, 2010 He Is Compressing Time He is compressing time, because of what [at] one time took hundreds of years to say, I can say now to the whole world from one place. Even as the handkerchiefs went out to Asia Minor, those who carried them carried the Gospel, that now My power can go to all places from one place. For you will see, I can do there what you are praying here, for never has the world been more unified in the areas of communication as now. Therefore, hold onto these things. Take advantage of them to fullness, for the world is ready to hear the truth as the water covers the sea. I will shake things, not once, but twice, but I will have My harvest before the end, says the Lord. Comments Media is a powerful tool and it looks like it is our time. Be encouraged: For you don t have to know everything that you think that you need to know to enter into this. Just give Me your heart, and I will give you Mine, says the Lord.

9 PT100307A Mar 7, 2010 This Was Healing for You I love you and I reach out with My love and draw you into My life. I draw you to come and sit with Me in the arms of My love My love that has given My life to you. I am the life that is in you. This life I have given you is full of all I am and all I have done for you. My life in exchange for you this was healing for you. The laying down of My life brought life to you, and this includes wholeness of life in your body. Come to Me and understand My love for you and that I hold nothing back from you. The enemy will try to bring His works against your body, but rest in the assurance of My unchanging love for you. Rest in this: I love you and I am for you, and nothing I have is held back from you. I am your life, and I am the One who healed you. Come and sit in My love for you and receive who I am to you. I am your life. I have healed you. PT100307B Mar 7, 2010 I Can Pick You Up Into a Place of My Grace For it s My desire that when you cannot make this journey on your own, then in My anointing I can pick you up from where you are standing, up into a place of My grace that you might be able to stand. For My grace is sufficient, for it s My desire to do those things for you, for this pleases Me as much as it does you, when I am able to establish My truth in you. So when you come together like this and you worship and you give yourself over to Me, sometimes you come close to places you are not walking yet. When you get close enough, then it is My pleasure to snatch you up into that grace and manifest that thing that you are believing for. For it was necessary for Me to take this from here to there, because while out here, I couldn t do there. But now that there is taking place, you are going to see many, many things come to pass that have been in your heart, both corporately and individually. PT100314C Mar 14, 2010 You Are Giving Me What I Need to Move For many things have to be understood of Me, such as your righteousness and where you are walking and who and what you are in Me. For sometimes I have trouble moving because of the way you see yourself, instead of the way I see you. But many of these things are going to change too you will see for many of you are refusing to turn loose, and you are giving Me what I need to move. PT100328A Mar 28, 2010 My Grace Is Fueled by My Love For in the things I have done in the past that many times their dependency was too much on themselves and on their works, therefore, what I was attempting to do was brought to an end because of their limitations, not Mine. But when you find out the fullness of My grace, you will see that it is fueled by My love. And you walk down this road and you do not let yourself get into the works, but know who you are and why that you are who you say that I am. There is not only strength, but there is grace and there is love, and you will finish your course, saith the Lord. PT100328B Mar 28, 2010 Listen to Me and My Wisdom For you will see a difference in My operation as these days come to pass. You will see. Does this have anything to do with My wisdom, saith the Lord? Have I come up short? Is there anything that I cannot do now and that I couldn t do before? Is there anything too hard for Me? I have wisdom in the good times and I have wisdom in the hard times. And you who listen to Me and My wisdom, you will see that you will come out with peace, productivity, and a reward. So be glad and rejoice, because what I have promised you from My Word is so. What will give you access into those answers [is] if you will begin to walk in My love now. Because if you walk in My love now, you will have no fear and you will be able to hear what I have for you instead of the devil. You will walk away victorious with a great harvest, saith the Lord. PT100328E Mar 28, 2010 You Can Decide It Is Up to You For can any more be said? For what did I say when I promised you the Teacher? Did not I say He would guide you into all truth? Why would I send you the Teacher and not have a way for you to present yourself to Him? Why would I make these promises to you if I did not open a door for you to step through? For are not these things up to you? For I have made it so that you can decide how much you want, how far you want to go, because this is all by your choice. I lay My call, I separate you according to how I will, saith the Lord, and it is up to you how much of yourself that you want to give back to Me. However, I have provided a road that you can walk down, deliberately, putting one foot in front of the other, out of everything I said you are free from and [into] everything I said you could be in the fulfillment of it. PT100328F Mar 28, 2020 It Is Not As Hard As You Think If you could see what I see and how My change is effected, that all of you, which one day you will see one day you will see how to step over. For it is not as hard as you think. Comments We have proof that it is harder than we think, when it is not. It is easier to step over into the answer of your prayer and what you need than you think. -4-
