Most recently I have been on the Bishop Election Committee, President of EWU Lutheran Campus Ministry, Synod Council, and have recently been appointed a Convocator for California Lutheran University and Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary. I find the challenge of being Church in today s world both frustrating and fun. Knowing the dynamics and declining numbers it is imperative that we find ways of communicating our values, traditions, and most of all our faith in contemporary language yet instill the continued mystery of God and God s message of grace through Jesus Christ. As one who has helped consolidate 3 families into one family and found new ways to express ourselves I believe my skills and experience are needed on our Council.
