Frankly, we could use a do over of our entire lives! This study from the Book of Romans shows you that, while you can't make the change, Jesus can do over your life. From January 23rd to February 13th at 7:30pm, MOBC will be having a 4 week Spiritual Gifts Seminar every Monday to help members discover, better, understand, and utilize their particular gifts given by God, to the glory of God. 10 STEWARDSHIP LITANY Leader: During this New Year season of giving we commit to being responsible stewards of that which you have given us. We expect a harvest and rejoice in thanksgiving. People: Luke 6:38 states that our gifts will be returned to us in good measure; pressed down, shaken together, and overflowing. Leader: We honor God with our gifts in obedience to God s Word, knowing it supports the vision, the ministries, the relationships, and the needs of our church. People: Our gifts help to nurture relationships, fund spiritual growth, cover operational costs, and care for the campus of MOBC. Leader: Holy Spirit, help us to move from one who has never given, to a first-time giver, until we are sacrificial givers who help to support the church. People: We commit to being faithful stewards of our time, talent, and treasure to God at MOBC. Leader: According to 2 Corinthians 9:7, what kind of giver does the Lord love? All: A CHEERFUL GIVER!

12 Daniel Fast January 2017 Week 1 Reading and Devotional Plan Observation: Each day mediate for 2 minutes on what you see in the scripture or a particular verse that was meaningful to you. Prayer: Each day write a short prayer of 2 lines asking God to connect the daily readings with a personal matter in your life. Day 1: January 2nd Read Daniel 1:1-10 Application: How have I need defiled by the culture? How can I take a stand for Christ during this Fast? Day 2: January 3rd Read Daniel 1:11-21 Application: What are some goals you have to improve your physical, emotional and spiritual health? Day 3: Read Daniel 2:1-23 Application: How do you usually deal with unreasonable or demanding people? Are the people speaking into your life giving good counsel? Day 4: Read Daniel 2:24-49 Application: What are some mysteries in your life you would like God to be clarity to during this Fast? Day 5: Read Daniel 3:1-15 Application: How do you distinguish between Gods authority and the authority of those around you? What are you willing to sacrifice to obey Gods clear command for you life? Day 6: Read Daniel 3:16-30 Application: How has God comforted you in times of personal suffering? Who is someone in your life going through hardships that you can help and how? Day 7: Read Daniel 4:1-27 Application: In what ways can our views of ourselves hinder our spiritual growth?
