For if you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners love those who love them. If you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do the same. Even sinners lend to sinners and get back the same amount. But rather, love your enemies, do good to them and lend expecting nothing back; then your reward will be great. Stop judging and you will not be judged. Stop condemning and you will not be condemned. Forgive and you will be forgiven. Give and gifts will be given to you. THE PEREGRINE SOCIETY Caring for Cancer Patients since th Birthday Celebrating with a St. Patrick s theme TRIVIA NIGHT on March 2nd at Epiphany Gym, 6596 Smiley. The cost is $25 per person at tables of 8. Beer, wine, soft drinks, and snacks are included in admission price. Birthday cake will also be served. CARMEL Dear Parishioners, Our new candle stations have arrived. Due to many requests, we have moved the statue of our Blessed Mother (Our Lady of Mt. Carmel) into the north alcove in order for candles to be lit and prayers to be said to Her. Donations for the candles by Our Lady are $2.00 and the candles will remain lit for 24 hours. If you would like a memorial candle on the other side of the north alcove by St. Sebastian & St. Francis, please fill out a form next to the candles and place it in the collection basket or mail it into the rectory. Cost for a memorial candle is $ and it will remain lit for one year. Also, you may have noticed that the alcove on the south side of church has been rearranged. We are in the process of repurposing this room as an ADORATION CHAPEL. The architectural plans have been completed and renovations will start soon. Adoration hours will be extended during certain evenings during the month. Thank you to homeowners, sponsors, volunteers, and the whole community. The 2019 Hill House Tour Organizing Committee invites you to participate, hoping to build on the remarkable blueprint left by the 2018 organizers and to top last year s success. Houses: Have you considered showing your home? We are looking for: homes that are rehabbed and new. A home as a creative, lived in space where you made the best of your lot size and/or existing building structure. The homeowner makes decisions on what spaces tour visitors will see. Sponsors: Funds raised through advertisement paid for the printing of the tour book/ticket last year, and along with ticket sales contributed a significant amount toward the Hill Neighborhood Center. Six hundred ticket holders plus their personal networks will see your 2019 ad. Inexpensive advertising prices range from $25-$100 (due April 5 th ). Individuals are also welcome to purchase a space in support of the House Tour. Volunteers: The glue that holds it together! Please consider volunteering. BAKERS NEEDED FOR ST. JOSEPH'S ALTAR Bakers: Please consider baking a cake, cookies, or other goodies to place on the St. Joseph Altar for sale.
