4 Fly High Big Glenn 3 Glenn James Prioux, 69, of Lumberton, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2018 at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, surrounded by his family. He was born on December 24, 1948, in New Iberia, Louisiana, to Annette Nancy Dugas Prioux and Roland Prioux later moving to Groves. Glenn graduated from Bishop Byrne High School in 1966, and Lamar University in He served in the Army National Guard for several years. Glenn retired from Motiva Enterprise in 2004 after forty years of service. He is survived by his wife of forty-eight years, Linda Poche Prioux; daughters, Stacy Prioux, of Lumberton, Amy Prioux Priddy and her husband, Troy, of Port Neches; three beautiful grandchildren whom he cherished with all his heart, Baylee, Mollee, and Ethan, All of Port Neches; brother, David Prioux and his wife, Mary, of Groves; nephew and godchild, David Prioux, Jr. and Michael Prioux; brother-in-law, Donald Poche and his wife, Margie, of New Iberia, Louisiana; sister-inlaw. Carolyn Doerr and her husband, Greg, of Wildwood; aunt, Francine Dugas Gaspard and her husband, Floyd; many cousins, nephews, nieces, great-nephews and nieces, and great-great nephews and nieces. Glenn will be missed by his sweet puppy, Patches. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather (Pop) and friend to many. He will be missed by many. A special thank you to Michael Roland Prioux, Glenn s nephew, for a successful stem cell and bone marrow transplant. Glenn s death was due to pneumonia, not cancer, he was cancer free.
