2 KINGDOM LEADERSHIP TRANSFORMING SOCIETY The Year of Change and New Beginnings Welcome to a Season of Leading Social Change - UNDERSTANDING 2013 The number 13 represents New Beginnings, Starting Fresh, New Phase or New Dimension, Unity, Renewal, Transformation and Change and implies the closing of an old chapter and the opening of a new phase. In 2013 you can expect complete change in all areas of life and the beginning of new phases in your life is the Year of Change! Change is in the air! Everything is changing! Change is the greatest challenge of our times. Without Change there can be no improvement, but not all Change is Improvement! The pace and nature of change is exceeding our ability to manage and respond effectively to it. The impact of change on our political, social, economic and spiritual environment is threatening the very foundations of our Societies. We must decide the changes that will produce the quality of life we deserve and desire as God s Creation. I am pleased to declare 2013 the year of KINGDOM LEADER- SHIP TRANSFORMING SO- CIETY with a focus on Leading National Spiritual and Social Transformation. Our Mandate: Transforming our post-modern Society through Kingdom Leadership Impact. THE AGE OF TRANSFORMATION The one word that describes the present environment in our globalized world is Transformation-Change. Some experts are calling it the age of the the new normal. We witnessed the so-called Arab Spring, International and Domestic Terrorism, Failed States, the Global Economic Crisis, massive unemployment, the fall and disgrace of Political, Civic Corporate and Religious leaders. The most striking change in our world today has been in our Moral Compass generated by a transformation in the traditional values that once served as the bedrock and foundation of our society. This must be addressed! The spirit of Liberalism and lawlessness is producing a culture of permissiveness, compromise and immorality resulting in a re-engineering of a culture of death, moral decay, and devaluation of human life, generational disillusionment and Social Confusion. We are entering an age of change that, if not checked, challenged and Transformed, will lead our so-called post-modern world toward a destiny of spiritual and social disintegration, darkness and decay. The greatest remedy for darkness and decay is light and salt. It is in this environment that the Message, Mandate and Mission of the Kingdom of God are mandatory as The King Jesus Christ declares; Matt 5: You are the salt of the earth. 14 You are the light of the world. It is this Kingdom Mandate that becomes our Ministry s motivation this year and creates the framework for our focus

3 on KINGDOM LEADERSHIP and its impact on the social fabric of our society. The KINGDOM LEADERSHIP TRANSFORM- ING SOCIETY MANDATE is a call to action and involvement as we engage the Political, Legislative, Economic, Cultural, Civic, and Social life of the nations with the Principles, Precepts, Priorities, Values, Morals, Keys and Spiritual and Natural Laws of the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth. The 2013 scriptural mandate establishes the foundation and commission for our entire Ministry for the year and details the principles for Kingdom Social Influence in every sphere of national life. This year we will rediscover, study, understand and learn the principles, wisdom and skills necessary to effectively engage, influence and impact the structures, systems and powers of national and social development. Transforming society through KING- DOM LEADERSHIP IMPACT AND INFLUENCE! The Kingdom of God is not just in word but in Power to Change and Transform society which is the fulfillment of the Great Commission to Go into all the World and make disciples of every nation 2013 is the year of re-introducing the Kingdom to the national conversation and to magnify the value of the content of the Culture of the Kingdom of Heaven to Transforming the political, social and economic culture of our society. In essence we are not Kingdom citizens sent by the Lord Jesus to just observe and decry the disintegration of our beloved society and nations, while preparing to be raptured, but to engage, confront, impact and transform our societies through KINGDOM LEADERSHIP INFLUENCE by practical integration and impact of Kingdom principles in the very fabric of our Society and community. 4 Dear Distinguished Citizens, I believe it is appropriate to thank God for his goodness and faithfulness this past year. I know that for many persons, 2012 was a year of challenge, and your faith was tested as never before. No doubt at times you wondered if you would make it through and how you would meet your obligations. However, The Lord is faithful and brought you through - Praise God!!!!! I want to remind you that God is already in 2013 and has already made provisions for you and your family. As we begin this brand new year, I believe that the theme Kingdom Leadership Transforming Society is indeed a fitting one as the world has certainly exhausted its ability to give itself solutions which will correct the downward moral, economic and social spiral of society. The national decisions which many governments are making with the intention of improving their nations are in fact having the opposite effect because the preserving principles found in the Word of God have been omitted by neglect or intent. Matt 5:13-NASB You are the salt of the earth... Kingdom Leadership Transforming Society is a call and a reminder to the church of the life-changing, nation changing ability of the word of God to impact not only our personal lives, but the life of our nations. This year I believe that The Lord will speak to us and give us specific direction on how to impact our workplace, societal systems and governmental agencies. I want to encourage you to be especially sensitive to the voice of the Holy Spirit in your own life, as I believe that he will speak to all of us about how we can give leadership to our society in very specific ways. It is also important to remember that change is an integral part of transformation. For example, I expect that God will speak to some of you to accept positions on school boards, cultural projects and civic groups. I believe that for some of you God may direct you to change your profession. He will speak to you about entering the political arena so that you can influence society with Kingdom Principles. Get ready for a life-changing year as you experience God in ways you have never experienced him before. Expect his presence, wisdom and guidance in your life, guiding your decisions. Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God. Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you MINISTRY GOALS 1. It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men. You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven. Matt 13:33 The kingdom of heaven is like yeast that a woman took and mixed into a large amount of flour until it worked all through the dough. NIV 8.
