1 EMS OF ECWA PRAISE AND PRAYER, MARCH 2018 Prayer/Counseling hotlines: , Website: Brethren, Pray For Us (1 Thess. 5:25) WEEK ONE - FOCUS IS ON PRAISE/THANKSGIVING FROM HOME AND CROSS-BORDER MISSION FIELDS Oh, praise the greatness of our God! He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he. Deut 32:3b-4 THURSDAY 1 ST Praise God for the safety granted to the EMS director and his team to and from Malawi for ECWA inauguration; praise God for the success of the entire program held 14 th -20 th of Feb FRIDAY 2 ND : Praise God for the successful completion of the registration of ECWA Burkina Faso, the church can now operate without any problem with the government of the country. SATURDAY 3 RD:- Praise God for the safe arrival of the new missionaries and the old ones on transfer to their new mission stations across the country. Ask the Lord to grant them and their families grace to acclimatize to the new environment, and to be effective in developing mission strategies. WEEK TWO - FOCUS IS ON EMS HOME MISSION FIELDS I will proclaim the name of the Lord Deut. 32:3a SUNDAY 4 TH EMS MANAGEMENT: Praise God for grace on the management and EMS leadership at various level through the last two months. Let s not relent in praying for more wisdom on EMS Management Team as they lead and give instructions at the Head Office, Regional offices, DCCs, and various levels in the ministry through the month of March like He did in the previous months. NOTE: WE ARE FASTING TOMORROW FIRST MONDAY OF EVERY MONTH IS TO BE OBSERVED NATIONALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY AS EMS PRAYER AND FASTING DAY. THEREFORE, ALL EMS ARMS, MISSIONARIES, OFFICE STAFF, PRAYER PARTNERS AND SUPPORTERS SHOULD PLEASE ENDEAVOR TO JOIN THE EMS INTERNATIONAL HEAD OFFICE IN PRAYERS. WE JOIN FAITH AND TRUST GOD IN ONE ACCORD WITH BRETHREN AROUND THE WORLD FOR A STEADY AND FRUITFUL GROWTH OF THE WORK OF MISSIONS, PEACE AND THE SALVATION OF NATIONS. 2 MONDAY 5 TH EMS BOARD MEMBERS: Ask the Lord to protect EMS board members with their families from every form of evil and grant them safety in all their travels and favor in all their endeavors. TUESDAY 6 TH EMS SUPPORTERS: Ask the Lord to raise more supporters for EMS, as laborers have been added to the EMS mission work force. Let s appreciate God for the consistent, selfless commitment of all existing supporters. WEDNESDAY 7 TH ECWA EXECUTIVES: Pray for the process and preparations for the forth coming election of the ECWA president and the ECWA assistance general sectary. Ask the Lord to raise for himself mission minded individuals for this positions. THURSDAY 8 TH: ECWA MINSTERS/STAKEHOLDERS: Ask that the Lord to direct, sanctify, and govern them in their work, so that the Gospel of Christ may be truly preached, truly received, and truly followed in all places ECWA is commissioned to reach out to. FRIDAY 9 TH MID EAST REGION-LAFIA DCC: Praise God for the life, Family and Ministry of Rev. Adamu Dutse the Mid-East Regional Coordinator. Pray for more of God s grace and favor upon Him to function effectively in this region. Pray that the hearts of more mission-minded individuals will be stirred towards joining the support or small donors team in the Mid-East Region. Pray for unbelievers seeking to know Christ in this region that the Lord will enable them take a bold step towards making that decision. The regional coordinator s last son is suffering from kidneys problem, ask God for a miracle healing to the glory and honor of his name. SATURDAY 10 TH: FAR NORTH WEST REGION: Praise God for the life, Family and Ministry of Rev. Mazadu Korau the Far North West Regional Coordinator. Pray for more of God s grace and favor upon Him to function effectively in this region. Ask the Lord to grant grace to the coordinators and missionaries in this region as they strategies on how to reach the following targeted areas: Yauri, Bagudo, and Magajiya. Ask God to raise more laborers for the harvest that is already ripped in the region. WEEK THREE - FOCUS IS ON EMS HOME MISSION FIELDS As you go, preach this message: 'The kingdom of heaven is near.' Matt 10:7 NIV SUNDAY 11 TH. SOUTH EAST-ABA DCC: Praise God for the life, Family and Ministry of Rev. Egelonu Obinali the South East Regional Coordinator. Pray for more of God s grace and favor upon Him to function effectively in this region. Praise God for the provisions for the roofing of the EMS mission field School at Amaeze - Ishiagu. Praise God for the provision towards the well digging at Ntezi mission field. Let s keep praying for provision for the bore whole sinking projects in various mission stations in this region this year. 2

3 Ask the Lord to grant opening to meet the urgent need of motor bikes for some missionaries working in the interior parts of this region. Let s not relent in asking the Lord to raise more indigenous mission supporters for EMS in this region this year. Ask the Lord to open doors financially for the development of the worship place in Lokpanta mission station. MONDAY 12 TH NORTH EAST REGION- GOMBE DCC: Praise God for the life, Family and Ministry of Rev. Yunana Misal the North East Regional Coordinator. Pray for more of God s grace and favor upon Him to function effectively in this region. Praise God for the increasing number of children in Purkutuma EMS mission field s school, the pupils in the school presently number about 100 are in dire need of more teachers. Ask the Lord to raise mission minded individuals that will be willing to serve in this mission field as missionary teachers. TUESDAY 13 TH CENTRAL REGION GARKI DCC: Praise God for the life, Family and Ministry of Rev. Danladi Gana Slash the Central Regional Coordinator. Pray for more of God s grace and favor upon Him to function effectively in this region. Praise God for the two churches in Bwari and Boko DCC that has grown as mission stations and are to be weaned to operate as local church council (LCC). Ask the Lord to grant grace to these churches to grow spiritually and effectively in witnessing. WEDNESDAY 14 th SOUTH NORTH EAST-TARABA DCC: Praise God for the life, Family and Ministry of Rev. Nehemiah T. Magaji the South North East Regional Coordinator. Pray for more of God s grace and favor upon Him to function effectively in this region. Ask the Lord to restore peace in Dumme mission station were Fulani herds men attacked, leaving many houses bunt as a result, some are rendered humbles and had become refugees. Let s not relent in praying for the safety of all missionaries and their families with the people they are reaching out to. Let s keep praying for Gods intervention and perfect healing on the son of our missionary, Pastor Feson Tasha by name Joshua, who has been psychologically unstable. Pray for healing. THURSDAY 15 TH FAR NORTH REGION-KATSINA DCC: Praise God for the life, Family and Ministry of Rev. Yahaya Bungule the Far North Regional Coordinator. Pray for more of God s grace and favor upon Him to function effectively in this region. Praise God, EMS major supporter in far north (call of hope) for another set of sixteen (16) motor cycles which they were distributed to EMS missionaries in various mission stations across Kano, Katsina and Tsiga D.C.Cs. not only that, also a promise financial donations were made for the building of church Auditoriums and pastorium in selected mission stations. 3

4 Ask the Lord to increase grace and blessings on Call of Hope for their commitment to supporting the work of EMS in the Far North. FRIDAY 16 TH NORTH WEST REGION KADUNA DCC: Praise God for the life, Family and Ministry of Rev. Gambo Ayuba the North West Region Regional Coordinator. Pray for more of God s grace and favor upon Him to function effectively in this region. Ask the Lord to grant financial open doors for the building of the official coordinators house in Fadan Kagoma dcc. SATURDAY 17 TH.SOUTH WEST REGION-ILORIN DCC: Praise God for the life, Family and Ministry of Rev. Taiwo C. Oladipo, the South West Regional Coordinator. Pray for more of God s grace and favor upon Him to function effectively in this region. Ask the Lord to grant spiritual awakening to missionaries in this region to stay focused, committed and diligent to the glory of God. Ask the Lord to raise more indigenous mission supporters for EMS in this region this year, WEEK FOUR: FOCUS ON CROSS-BORDERS MISSION FIELDS As you go, preach this message: 'The kingdom of heaven is near. Matt 10:7 NIV Sunday 18 th ECWA NIGER REPUBLIC: Praise God for the opportunity granted to EMS missionaries to be able to witness in some critical places in Niger Republic without hindrance. Pray for success as Rev Kanawa and takes over from the Likitas with a rescheduled plan to have open evangelism at three locations; Karey Gourou, Torodi and Panuma at the first quarter of Pray for God's provision to enable them hold the said programmes. MONDAY 19 th ECWA ZAMBIA CHURCH: Ask the Lord to grant ECWA ministers and members in Zambia consistent victory over every strong hold of wickedness that is waging war against their spiritual growth, Ministry fruitfulness and Evangelism. TUESDAY 20 TH MALAWI: Praise God for the success of the long awaited ECWA Malawi inauguration. Ask the Lord to grant more grace of sustainability for the church. Pray that the church will be self-sustaining and self-propagating. Let s keep praying for God's provision for structural development of the church plot in Blantyre, Malawi; also pray for financial opening doors for the upkeep of the 14 Malawi indigenous pastors. Wednesday 21 ST : ECWA MALI CHURCH: Pray for more soul winning strategies for Rev. & Mrs. Amah in Mali in the year

5 THURSDAY 22 ND ECWA BURKINA FASO CHURCH: Pray for God's provision of one tricycle and two (2) Motorcycles for the progress of the work in Burkina Faso. There is a need for the engagement of Burkina national for the ministry of EMS of ECWA Burkina Faso, pray for suitable candidate to be engaged. There are 3 disciples from ECWA Burkina Faso to be sent for Theological training in ECWA Togo or The Gambia. Pray for God's provision for the support of their training. Pray for the spiritual growth of all the converted prostitutes in Burkina Faso who are undergoing discipleship with Pastor Dauda lliya. FRIDAY 23 RD ECWA BENIN REPUBLIC: Praise God for the successful purchased of the second church land in Godomey- Cotonou, Benin Republic. Rev. & Mrs. Amos Olugbenga are trusting God to secure accommodation in Godomey, closer to the church, pray for a suitable accommodation. Pray for God's provision of resources to positively erect a temporary place of worship for ECWA Godomey-Cotonou, Benin Republic. Pray for good working relationship for our Missionaries in Benin Republic; ask that they will foster the progress of his work in the field. SATURDAY 24 TH ECWA TOGO CHURCH: Praise God almighty for his providence over the lives of our Missionaries in Togo - good health of missionaries' families, good evangelistic work, unity, and progress of the work. Pray for God's provision for the purchase of church lands in Zanguera, University campus, No tes and Bagouda. Pray for God's provision for the purchase of a ministry vehicle for the work EMS of ECWA Togo. WEEK FIVE: FOCUS ON OTHER EMS MISSION ARMS "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor." Luke 4:18-19 NIV SUNDAY 25 TH EMS CHILDREN/MISSION FIELD SCHOOLS: Ask the Lord to protect every child schooling at any EMS facility from evil associations and occult initiations, such cases have become rampart in most of our circular schools. Pray that these children will grow in knowing and loving the Lord daily in our own schools. Ask the Lord to grant financial opening to parents struggling to pay their children s school fees. Pray for increased wisdom and grace for effective teaching on all teachers in EMS children and mission field schools. 5

6 MONDAY 26 TH EMS MEDICAL UNIT: Praise God for graciously delivering our missionaries in various fields from terrible sickness last month, and for many who are receiving healing from their infirmities. Ask the Lord to grant EMS missionaries grace to be truly impressed with his merciful goodness and healing, and that we may devote our strength and good health to a humble, holy and obedient lives, walking before Him on daily basis. TUESDAY 27 TH : EMS HOUSE OF HOPE: Ask the Lord to continuously heal, provide and comfort grieving children in all EMS House of Hope who lost parents, relatives, and friends. Pray that they may be psychologically and emotional stable as they are being cared for. WEDNESDAY 28 TH EMS DRIVING UNIT: Ask God for divine protection on all EMS vehicles and drivers through the month of March. THURSDAY 29 TH EMS SPORTS UNIT: Praise God for the positive impact the EMS sport unit is making in the life of many young people: Pray for the salvation of the unbelieving youths in Sport Ministry of EMS who are willing to become believers in Christ, that they will have boldness to do so and ready to carry their cross. FRIDAY 30 TH ECWA T.V MINISTRY: Pray for ECWA T.V Ministry for more financial opening and for the Holy Spirit's leading, as a lot of work is ongoing for the take-off of this very important ministry hopefully by April, SATURDAY 31 THv Praise God for His sustaining grace on EMS in all its mission programs and travels throughout the month of MARCH.
