2 Mission & Impact Statements Mission "Mastering Life Ministries" attempts to sensitively deal with the issues of modern life that result in emotional and sexual sin and brokenness of all kinds. We seek to equip the Church to more redemptively minister to sexually broken people, by authoring teaching resources, conducting classes, seminars and conferences, and by participating in and producing television, documentary and radio outreaches. Our extensive website reaches people throughout the world with life-saving information and direction. Background Mastering Life Ministries (MLM) is a teaching and equipping ministry that focuses on how God brings healing and deliverance from emotion-based disorders. For the past 30 years, our primary area of focus has been sexual sin and brokenness. MLM was birthed out of the healing process that God used to rescue David Kyle Foster. In 1980, Jesus Christ set him free from a life of hopeless addiction and brokenness. In the 1970's, David had been a fairly successful film and television actor in Hollywood but had led a secret life as a sex addict and male prostitute. Jesus kept him from death through multiple suicide attempts and attempts against his life and opened his eyes to the love and grace of God while on a trip to Israel. David's 1st book, Sexual Healing, has sold over 15,000 copies. David's 2nd book, Transformed Into His Image, is the fruit of his doctoral work at Trinity School for Ministry. His 3rd book, Love Hunger, (an autobiography) was published by Chosen Books in David has also written numerous booklets and articles for various magazines. As the primary teacher for Mastering Life Ministries, David has produced award-winning teaching resources on DVD, including "Sexual Healing Video Course" (- a winner of the 1996 Angel Award of Merit from Excellence in Media. MLM has also produced countless CD & DVD sets from our many conferences that God continues to use to rescue people. These include tapes from our "Covenant" award-winning radio program "Mastering Life" which ran for several years on outlets such as the Focus on the Family Radio Network. Our website ( has won international praise as a tool that God uses to rescue countless lost and broken people around the world. MLM has published over 300 issues of our "Mastering Life" newsletter and have participated in scores of seminars, classes, workshops and leadership training classes taught throughout N. America, Europe, Australia, Africa & Asia. Our TV program - Pure Passion - is seen in 12 languages throughout the world and has won 3 "Telly Awards" for outstanding achievement in TV production. Our 1st documentary - "Such Were Some of You" has garnered 5 awards and our 2nd documentary - "How Do You Like Me Now?" has won Silver & Bronze Telly Awards for outstanding video production as well as film festival awards for "Best Documentary". Our 3rd documentary, "TranZformed: Finding Peace with Your God-Given Gender" has just been released. Impact We continue our "Pure Passion" TV outreach around the world via 6 websites, Facebook, Twitter, iphone & Droid apps, Roku US & Roku Europe, AmazonFire TV, Apple TV, Google TV & itunes. We estimate an audience in the hundreds of thousands if not more, with excellent feedback from those whose lives have been changed by God through our programming. We have also continued to minister through books, booklets, newsletters, DVDs, CDs, via phone and as well as at conferences and seminars. Our third documentary, released last year, ("TranZformed: Finding Peace with Your God-Given Gender") has garnered 4 awards and continues to air at many conferences and churches and on DVD. We have also just completed translation of the film into the Spanish language. Our first two documentaries - "Such Were Some of You" & "How Do You Like Me Now?" have also won multiple secular and festival awards for outstanding video production, including "Best Documentary". The DVDs have been distributed worldwide, aired on a half dozen TV networks, and screened in over a dozen churches and conferences. We will continue to distribute existing TV programming and documentaries this year as well as begin development on a fourth documentary and production on a feature film. 2

Visit us at Board Chair Statement The response from the public to our teaching and ministry has been overwhelming at times and cries out for an expansion of services. We need to obtain professional services in the areas of administration, finances, and media services (Internet, etc). We need an increase in our capacity to hire new employees and to respond to the many requests and opportunities to expand our media presence. Through prayer and the grace of God, we have accomplished far more than is humanly possible, yet God is calling us to reach out to more and to bring them His healing truth and presence. Twelve years of TV outreach has been a very positive way to reach many more people with the resources at hand. It has expanded the availability of our teaching ministry to hundreds of thousands more than were previously being reached via conferences and printed materials. Now the nations are calling and wanting that presence for their people. The brokenness reaches around the world and we are doing our best to respond. This ministry is at the point where an infusion of new capital is needed to enable us to take the leap to a ministry that reaches multiple levels of need in many nations. We have the people ready to come on board, and the vision to carry us forward. And we have the testimonies of people from around the world indicating their keen need for more. In 2013 we branched out into the production of topical documentaries that reach an entirely new audience with a more detailed form of inspiration and guidance for their sexual brokenness and for their need for the supernatural wisdom and power of God. We have also begun 3

4 development of a Christian film based on David Kyle Foster's book, Love Hunger, and in 2018 we began production of a fourth documentary about female sexual brokenness and what heals it.. CEO Statement In a sea of ministries that address specific sexual sin issues, Mastering Life Ministries brings the "big picture" perspective. We demonstrate God's common grace for every kind of sin, we communicate God's common healing power for any kind of brokenness, and we illustrate the part that every member of the body of Christ is meant to play in helping broken people. By showing how healing for sexual sin and brokenness is fundamentally the same as it is for any other kind of sin or disorder, we authenticate in people's minds God's stated intention to enlist leader and layperson alike in the cause of His redemption. As a ministry, we bridge the denominational divides while maintaining fealty to Holy Scripture as our final authority. There is more that unites us than divides us and this is no more clearly seen than in the healing of sin and brokenness. Our primary means of reaching the masses with the message of God's love, grace and power to heal and transform is media. By it, we reach into the privacy of people's homes with life-changing information, hope and direction that they might not otherwise find or seek out from traditional sources. 4

The Body of Christ - equipping the Church to more redemptively minister to sexually broken people through training and reallife testimonies. The program features many experts and the personal life stories of real people who illustrate God's way of escape for those who are entrapped in addictive and dysfunctional lifestyles. It airs in Nashville, nationwide and internationally on multiple TV networks and streaming devices. 2. Sexually Broken People - showing them how God saves, heals, sets free and transforms the lives of those who turn to Him with a heart of repentance, and how He empowers them to lead a life of grace, love and purity. The result will be radically changed people who have gone from despair & bondage to joy & freedom -e.g., some will no longer live as sex addicts and many will be set free from the emotional pain of sexual abuse. 7 Documentaries Description In 2013, we began production of topical documentaries that show people how Jesus Christ can provide freedom from various sexual bondages. Our 1st, "Such Were Some of You" ( has won 5 awards and is available in Chinese, English, Estonian, Finnish, Hebrew, Russian, Romanian, Spanish & Swedish, as well as on DVD in English & Spanish. Our 2nd, "How Do You Like Me Now?" ( has garnered 4 awards, including "Best Documentary". We have just released a 3rd documentary "TranZformed: Finding Peace with Your God-Given Gender" ( which has already won 4 awards. We have just begun production on a 4th film. The streaming of our YouTube videos and streaming devices (Apple TV, AmazonFire TV, Google TV, Roku North America, Roku Europe and itunes) has produced the same fruit. Viewers of each documentary come away with a clear understanding of the most common causes for their bondage and the most common ways that God has brought deliverance and transformation in the past to those under its sway. The fruit is lives freed from bondages and more closely knit to Jesus Christ. Feedback from viewers comes in the form of s, letters, Facebook postings and messages, calls to the ministry, increased purchase of our teaching resources and attendance at our events in their area. We are able to track viewers and their demographics through attendance in person at screenings and by analytic tools available on the Internet. The first three documentaries have been tracked by the tools mentioned above. They have received rave reviews, numerous film festival awards and high DVD sales. This is an area of need so starving for information and bereft of it that a large response is guaranteed. Testimonials have continuously poured in as a result of our TV outreach, and there has been no change with the documentaries. Our documentary on freedom from homosexual confusion (Such Were Some of You) has already attracted 10,000 views just in the 6 months that it's been freely available. 8 Love Hunger Film Project Description In 2016, we began development of a Christian film project based on the book, Love Hunger (Chosen Books). It is the true story of David Kyle Foster, who led a double life as both male prostitute and successful commercials, TV and film actor in Hollywood during the 1970s before coming to Christ while on a trip to Israel in 1980.We are looking for funds to write the script ($50,000) and to begin production on the project (now set at $5 million). Mastering Life Ministries is developing the project now, but at some point will hand it over to a seasoned production house. During the current phase, however, donations are tax deductible. CEO Comments The "Pure Passion" TV outreach has been a great advance in our ability to reach as many people as possible with the message that Jesus Christ wants to rescue them from immoral or dysfunctional lifestyles. It also enables us to train the Body of Christ how to redemptively minister to such people. Our documentary projects add to the breadth and depth of people being helped. As we treat the whole man - body, soul, and spirit - we hope to see the promises of Scripture come alive in the day-to-day lives of hurting people. Additionally, our call to teach the Body of Christ as well as those who are bound and broken in addictive and sinful lifestyles how to find freedom in Christ will be more fully realized through these highly efficient and cost-effective media outreaches.
